I have been hesitant about these and the JBL due to the cade design. However, as I saw the high number of reviews I grew curious. Thanks for taking the time to review and may give them a go as a casual driver. Thank You as always!!
Been using them for a month now I can't say I agree it's the same without without a lid the entire lint argument is non-existent. I carry these around all way in pocket at work and in my bag they rarely if ever get lint the most you'll see is small specks of dust where the ear tips are otherwise the no lid thing is an overreacting imo
@aceracemusic7565 nope tbh the magnets on these are way stronger than any earbuds I've used before or experienced I was actually surprised at how strong they, are they won't fall in most general use cases nor will they fall out in your pocket, for them to fall out it'd have to be a really hard drop
Just an FYI Harman/JBL are now owned by Samsung. They've owned them for about three years now which explains why JBL's product quality and ability to actually produce something other then junk has improved so much.
Your comment is very misinformed JBL used to be audiophile equipment a long time ago and they went too mass market and lost their way. But the comment they only made junk is not true old JBL was really good as was harman kardon. Look up the history.
@samlutz4724 I was talking about JBL back in early 2000's and even up until a few years ago. All they made was Chinese produced garbage. They still have issues with products like the Tune 230NC which has numerous issues with the earbuds turning on in the case and not booting in general.
I absolutely love the Reflect Minis sound quality and the Live pro2 is a no-brainer at 99 bucks. Thank you Gamesky for all of the work you've done in 2023. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
A buddy of mine actually has these and I was VERY impressed by their tunability. Paired with the Poweramp app and they sound REALLY good for the price. Definitely worth $35
I bought mine yesterday cause my apple air pods decided to start acting stupid like the last 2 pair I had, I mean I could still hear, but when I would be on the phone I could hear, but the people I was talking to couldn’t hear me, so I went to Target yesterday and got these and really like them
I found mines at Burlington on clearance for 15$ I love mines they sound incredible the mic is good and the battery life is awesome also with the jbl app only thing i don't like is the missing lid and u can't tell if there charging it only blinks green once. Over all I'll give them a 4.5 stars i have the tune 125 and i payed more for them and the vibe sounds way better than tunes.
The JBL Vibe Beam have a normal case and i think are more comfortable to wear. They're basically the same thing as these with a different aesthetic design.
The EarFun free pro 3 was one of my best tws purchases. The oluv tuning is freaking fantastic, and they are low profile so I can use them at work. Huge upgrade over my soundpeats free 2 classic and engine 4.
After having mine for a while I've unfortunately come across the primary issue of no lid: one of my buds no longer connects properly to the charging contacts
Just picked up a pair on Amazon. This is my first experience with ear buds and I have to say I struggled through the setup. The little pictograph manual took some puzzling out. I finally got them to pair with my phone but haven't figured out how to make them visible to my laptop. Also getting a lot of feedback squeal from the mics. Need to figure out how to turn down the mike volume, I guess. So far tapping hasn't helped. I'll get their, though.
Hey Gamesky. I bought the Soundcore 4 NC recently and loved em but the call quality kept having people say I intermittently couldn't be heard. And I kept wondering how they dropped the ball when the Liberty 3 was some of the best Any chance of a video on best call quality in there market
I have some Senheisser CX200 sport true wireless, I'm looking for this as a "non-expensive" 2nd pair while I'm charging the Senheisser ones or I can't have them on hand. How do this JBL could compare?
I already had 2 products from jbl,one one them still works even do i bought around 5 years ago huh and they are Bluetooth, but this sound is not for everybody ,i like soundcore soundstage more
the earbuds themselves have 8hrs of battery. when you put them back into the case they can be charged again. you can do this 4 times before the battery of the case dies.
Ha3 u really my 1st mornin laugh epics.. No caps ma?? Whos high enuf to design dat!.. Its looks like broken.. U again really makes my old EarFun2S really a bang 4 money.. Its can beats dis new jbl just like dat although its antiques now.. The batt still gd wireless too.. Ipx7 too so on..U r the 1 who recommended to me n thx u rocks.. Peace!
Hi .When i connect my buds to my phone they are listed as JBL WAVE BUDS but after awhile my phone says there are two devices that are connected, the name of the second device is JBL WAVE BUDS le. I assume the le stands for low energy but on the app it says my buds are on 100% . Could someone pls explain to me what this means ?
I’ve had the earbuds with cases that don’t have lids. It’s hard to turn them off but they’re not bad. They seem to turn themselves back on easily. Ty for the reviews @Gamesky and keep the great stuff coming please! Oh had to ask. Have you tested the new Tozo Openreal air conductor headphones? They seem to be very good and just was wondering what you think of them. Thanks again!
*EDIT* Yes, I am aware it looks like my hands burned in the apocalypse due to the color error at 4:40 into the video.
🥓
I love how the 'pro' of the case is that you don't have to waste time opening a lid
I have been hesitant about these and the JBL due to the cade design. However, as I saw the high number of reviews I grew curious. Thanks for taking the time to review and may give them a go as a casual driver. Thank You as always!!
Just bought them today. Love them!
Jbl is underrated
Any design without a lid is horrendous!
I agree, I had to get the case for my moondrop space travel otherwise it would get dusty, lol
@@Hijynx87 Exactly! And for pocket carriers, it's even worse with all the potential lint.
Been using them for a month now I can't say I agree it's the same without without a lid the entire lint argument is non-existent.

@@fable2830 thank you for the feedback. I didn't know it was like that. Do you experience them falling out of the case more easily?

Live pro 2 is one of my favorite earbuds. The are comfortable and sound good
Mr. Gamesky! Thank you for posting.
If you are in for the sound, especially bass... not too many bells and whistles, then JBLs are great.
A buddy of mine actually has these and I was VERY impressed by their tunability. Paired with the Poweramp app and they sound REALLY good for the price. Definitely worth $35

Thanks for sharing your review. Blessings on your day!
You should do a review of the JBL Live Free 2. Excellent pair of earbuds
Like the video. One thing I thought was missing was a fit test and quality of fit

Who the fk thought of that Case design?
I know right it’s great 👍
The JBL Vibe Beam have a normal case and i think are more comfortable to wear. They're basically the same thing as these with a different aesthetic design.
How many are returned this month?
None
The EarFun free pro 3 was one of my best tws purchases. The oluv tuning is freaking fantastic, and they are low profile so I can use them at work. Huge upgrade over my soundpeats free 2 classic and engine 4.
i just bought these i love them not my first jbl product i have always bought jbl speakers and i love them
After having mine for a while I've unfortunately come across the primary issue of no lid: one of my buds no longer connects properly to the charging contacts
I don’t need a lid on these bad boys, the vibe buds are sick! Coped my white pair for $28.
Just got mine. These things are crazy good. Better than apple imo and I got both brands
I agree I just got some today and wag better than my airpods
@ only thing is the top is exposed. Other than that it’s a great product

For the price thats hella cool
How long they last listened 🎶
Did you do any tests with video? I like to use mine on a plane and have had some lag issues with other brands.
The JBL beam wirelss model has a case with a lid top
Just got these dor $30 at Burlington. No need for noise cancellation. Good for the $30
Can only one ear bud be used, or does it have to be a pair used together?
why they stop for a brief second while your listening
Mine won’t turn on after charging
The ones I just received have a lid on the case
my pair has gotten so quiet I can hardly hear anything coming from them
Cannot connect to multiple devices. Know this

Any chance of a video on best call quality in there market
The JBL live pro 2 have good call quality and the Soundcore 4 have good calls. Don’t know what they did with the NC
How many hours do i need to charge before using?
I had these, it takes around 20-30 mins as I remember to charge the case, and 10 minutes to charge the headphones at full battery
Does they play at the same time in your ear
Of course
I loved them from descriptions of ppl, but that open case design is a total no-no for me :(
I have these and I lost a bud because it is not enclosed, dont get this one. But JBL is a good brand.
How about heavy metal music?
Are these touch control?
Yes
Mics sound pretty good
They must have run out of budget when designing the case haha

Sorry I'm a bit confused on the using the case to get 32 hrs of battery life as opposed to 8hrs without the case, can someone clarify for me
the earbuds themselves have 8hrs of battery. when you put them back into the case they can be charged again. you can do this 4 times before the battery of the case dies.
@@nooptiuiThank you for clearing that up friend
Mines came with a lid. Sound good 😅😅😅😅😅
For the price it’s not bad.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Left Ear?
Do yourself a favor and turn off smart audio. It’ll get rid of the annoying audio cutting out
I did but it still cuts out with one earbud in
You should do those Transformer earbuds. I can't trust the reviews they seem sketchy.
I’d rather have the Soundpeats free 2 classic or the Donner Dobuds at that price point……great video as always 👊🏽
My Donners have issues
Free 2 classic are pretty solid if you want a low profile $20 tws.
Interesting. 👍🍻
Mine cut in and out every 2 minutes so I’m done with jbl
Ya ok ear buds review boy
Jbl version of the jlab what were the name of them. Just dont put them in pocket or drop them... they were just awesome lol
I’ve had the earbuds with cases that don’t have lids. It’s hard to turn them off but they’re not bad. They seem to turn themselves back on easily.

Oh had to ask. Have you tested the new Tozo Openreal air conductor headphones? They seem to be very good and just was wondering what you think of them. Thanks again!
I had these and returned them. Sound wasn't great even for the cost. Get the JLab minis. Way better and smaller
Anytime anyone mentions JLab is even remotely worth buying I know they are a troll
JBL vibes are trash dam things never connect when I want them too.
I’m disappointed with them
These Sssuuuccckkkkkk!! Sound is NOT detailed, nothing helps, the equalizer is crap, the volume on these is crap.Just not impresed at all
FIRST!
Yeahhh man, case completely exposed a reason to not buy for me.
