I would love to see you utilize all of the Ai tools at your disposal and make a cinematic short film of about 5 minutes long, and make it as realistic as possible. If anyone can do it you can
I’ve been thinking about that. The problem is always time! Might take a week off at some point closer to the holiday season (when I presume things will slow down) and do it then!
Enjoyed this format. Honestly if there's something worth trying out I just pause a video and go check it out myself. Thank you for your insights and the work you do.
Yeah, they've been hard at work. I always feel like anytime a new version pops (for any of the AI platforms), I'm thinking: Those backend guys are not getting much sleep this week!
Yeah, I always feel guilty doing deeper dives on one or two topics. I've been thinking about making this format more of a thing. I still can't help myself and go a little deeper on some topics though...hah.
@@TheoreticallyMedia Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to more fast paced/quick segmented videos like this, and maybe alongside a few more deep dive follow-ups that cover some of the more noteworthy updates and things to play around with
@@TheoreticallyMedia I saw that "Coffeevectors" on Civitai has an analysis: "F LUX.1 Dev: Sampler + Scheduler Comparison" ....which may be useful information for a future"deep dive" video ?
Excellent to hear! I'm not going to abandon the deeper looks-- I'm thinking maybe one "deep" one "quick hits" a week. I never really want to lose that deep dive thing! I think that's where you all get the most value!
Thank you very much for the video! There are so many tools, I don't even know where to find the time to learn all of them!! Make a new video for what purposes these Ai can be used. Its will be very interested. Thanks
Quick hits format is nice, but I wouldn't do it more than every few weeks. I find myself not watching other AI news channel because they cover too much too quickly and are a bit too surfacey. Big fan of your full videos on individual topics. That being said, it was nice to learn about a few things I wasn't aware of.
Yeah, I'm thinking bi-weekly? Or-- If I do it weekly, making sure that I have at least one other "deep" video that same week. I like the deeper stuff too-- I just feel bad sometimes because I feel like I'm not covering the whole space. Funny enough, the "Quick Hits" don't take any LESS time to make than the deep dives. Haha, go figure.
@TheoreticallyMedia yeah bi-weekly might be a good frequency. I appreciate all the work you put into these! Content creation is a grind and the quality on your channel never seems like you are just chasing views. I always take away a lot of value from the videos you cover. Keep up the good work 👍
1000%! Soooo, while you're here: is it VYE-du, or is it VID-You? It's gotta be Vid-You, right? Haha, thanks so much for the great work you've been doing! Always keeping an eye on you!
These quick bites format is probably good occasionally, and much appreciated Tim, but I love when you go deeper into them. I'm subbed to Magnific and Mystic 2.5 (yes, beta) is actually really good. And Sora - 🤯AGAIN! 🤞
I've be using Suno v4 for the past couple days and wow, it is so much better. Pretty game-changing update. The vocals are much less auto-tune robotic and way more realistic (though not perfect) and the song structures have much more variance and flair to them. Hard to explain but the old version was a lot of just singing the lyrics straight up and now it really adds a lot more emphasis and big moments to it. Some very impressive stuff. Also brings in harmonies and background vocals really well too.
I’m gonna focus on LTX again, as it didn’t save my projects well before, but it’s a platform that I want to master. Great overview as per usual Tim. Cheers
Would you mind sharing the tools you use to create your videos? They seem so fluid and off-the-cuff, but I'm sure you must have put a lot of thought into your workflow to make it seem that way. Camera, screen capture, editing? Apologies if you've already done this and I just couldn't find it. Thanks for all of your hard work - excellent channel.
Yes 🙌 Quick weekly, or monthly, updates would be great! - with this field changing so fast, a rundown is more than necessary. (AI_ESPN) 🤔 for the current stats & standings. Perfect as a stocking stuffer. 😉
Hey Tim, I enjoyed this format. I think it was a great flow. A humble suggestion, why not keep both? A format like this : TM 360 and others TM Deep Dive, TM Digest...whatever you do , please don't change.. I despise some of them wolves out there who take themselves much too seriously to the point of arrogance.Eeeew. Never going to step on that door mat again.
Welcome aboard!! It's pretty fun here! Lot of info, but I try to keep things fun. The pace is so crazy, we just have to have a laugh from time to time!
Great stuff and the quick hits are appreciated. Headline news. Thanks. Hope you're right about SORA. To my eye, nothing yet has quite reached the realism of the first SORA demos back in February.
Interesting advancements! 😮 Haven’t dabbled in the audio AI’s much, but are there any models where you write the lyrics while the AI comes up with the cadence and melody (and sings it)? 🤔 Mostly what I’ve seen are AIs coming up with their own lyrics, (that frankly don’t make much sense most of the time….). 🤪 The new Sora certainly looks cool!
So that Hotshot v2v is a bit like Act One, but here you can also act with your hands and create a consistent (avatar) character? Is this correct or am I missing something. Seems like a big new step, if only the image sharpness was better. Please dive into that Tim. Love to see more of that!
With Suno and Udio etc. Is there the ability to export the vocal track as midi for use in a DAW? This would be useful to use a clearer voice when generating lip syncs whilst keeping the timing. Thanks.
Thank you, Tim. LTX needs another commercial utilization license. It's very expensive if you want to use it for a real project. But it's promising, I did three short videos using it. I've been playing with Nim. It's very interesting, with image-to-video and video-to-video restyling. They also have text-to-video in Alpha stage.
Yeah, he is “The Greatest Showman” of AI! Fingers crossed, but I won’t be surprised if it’s a no show. That said, I’ve heard the rumors from pretty high up sources. We’ll see. Those guys can get hoodwinked too!

Hi Tim! Thank you so much for these videos! Things are moving so fast - its hard to keep up. I sent you a video and would LOVE your feedback. I am working on part 2 now and I don't know which video engine I should stick with. I use Kling, Gen3, DreamMachine, MiniMax. They each have their strong points. I guess its normal to use them all? I wonder wha the cost for Sora will be. One BIG question is: Besides Kling, anyone else rendering at 1920 x 1080?
Can anyone please tell me why does "kling" and "minimax" both gives the option of downloading the video WITH, or WITHOUT the watermark?!? was there even a single person who preferred to have the kling watermark on??
I gotta admit, I've never figured that out either. I don't know how many times I've accidentally downloaded the watermark version and had to go back to download again.
I wish that I was new to A.I. and video generating and didn’t burn myself out on all those v1 blobs and late nights to make one good image, young’ns have it pretty nice now.
Darn kids today and their Gen-3 and Flux! Back in our day, we’d /imagine a Lego block in Midjourney and then have it turn into a Vampire that morphed into a Monster Truck in Pika! And we’d be happy with it!
Huge fan of you and your channel Tim. I know it is challenging to maintain a balance between being attractive to sponsors amd also giving your viewers the straight truth, sponsors be damned 😉 A lot of these image and video generation platforms are essentially having us pay them to test out their products and make them better. Makes sense... to a point. Someone has to pay for those servers. But I take issue with LTX. I remember being so excited before they first released that I did everything I could to get early access. While their initial vision and intent was admirable the results were incredibly disappointing. So, I bowed out deciding to wait for more improvements (I think it was still free at that time). Then more improvements were announced and I gave it another try. While the results improved, they were still unusable. So now it sounds like time to give them another try. But at this poiunt why should I pay again just to find out they just aren't there yet? I guess it is my choice. Food for thought. A lot of TH-camrs who talk about all these generators are provided with free and often unlimited access to these tools It's next to impossible for the rest of us to really test something out without spending a small fortune and then often be disappointed with the results and capabilities. Maybe one of them will allow testing phases where you can go through a bunch of rounds of experimentation without the ability to download at a much lower price.
