I genuinely can't listen to this without tears in my eyes. The second part hits harder if you read the manga, because Eren holds the knowledge and bears the pain himself without telling anyone so he saves them from it.

This is a song that's so sad it should be depressing but has just enough hope to make it relaxing.
When I first heard this on AOT I got soooo emotional and I'm not a very emotional person but AOT hit me on a whole nother level it was the very first anime that I fully got into cause I really didn't like any other anime for a long time and AOT will forever be my favorite anime this song made me think of all of the struggles the characters went through as if I was putting myself in their shoes or as if I was an actual character that's how I think when I watch something like this that I get so attached too it lol I like to think I'm my own character oh how much I love that show

The "sayonara, sekai" beginning line by Cinema Staff perfectly illustrates the eternal change in atmosphere and scale of the anime, as a manga reader, it;s absolutely gorgeous, and your English rendition is on par with that in terms of meaning and linguistic perfection. It's like Eren singing in the real song, and Mikasa in your version.

For me, Season 3 had the best endings. S3 made me fall in love with SnK. It made me realize the world is cruel but a beautiful place. Your voice has a great emotional range but gives hope as well!

This actually fits the ending very well, Eren wanted his friends to live but the only way that'll happen is to become the villain and lose his life. I would say that he wanted to say sorry but I think he did when he had a private conversation with all of them. But one thing he wanted to do was to live his life with the one he loves but the only thing he could do now is to give his memories towards her.

My little brother started learning how to play this song and send us a video, now is the memory I cherish since he passed away in a car crash by a drunk driver. I was looking for the English lyrics to figure out what it said, and now am sobbing because aside from the beautiful voice that sings this, the meaning of the song touches my heart. I miss him so much that physically hurts, but I'm glad I found this song in English and to understand what this song meant to him, I will remember him and listen to this when I think of him. Thanks
