At season one Levi was the wings of freedom but at the end of it all it was Eren all along
Eren was the villain the world needed. To achieve a future for eldians rather than the slavery and oppression of the world upon them or zekes euthenasia plan to nonviolently end the eldian race in one generation.
It was ultimatum vs ultimatum however. Either the eldian race died or all people on earth except the eldians did.
I just now realise how bittersweet this song really is and I say this as a manga reader

7 years later and it is finally finished. This has been a roller coaster with no drops, you only go higher and higher through the ride that is Attack on Titan, thank you Amalee for the amazing cover

@@enderspider5001 and the worst part is he didn't mention the reason for this. He just said he wanted to do it and he had to do it but we don't know why. From the writing standpoint aot stopped making sense during the rumbling arc and became a typical shōnen.
@@vividvoodoo7323 Nah, the fourth arc's confusing nature was definitely intentional. Isayama Hajime been planning AoT for years. If you look back at the manga and the anime seasons (especially the openings and endings) you'll see a plethora of references that make sense under the context of the fourth season. It's crazy. Hajime-san *may not be the best artist,* but he's a *stellar storyteller.*

I must have a self abusive personality or something. I can't stop coming back to this video. I always thought that stories with a tragic ending were the most beautiful ones. The more I listen to this cover, the more beautiful it gets, and the more beautiful it gets, the more pain and despair I feel overwhelming me. I already know that this is the most beautiful story I will ever see. My eyes will never see anything even close to being this beautiful. I'm almost too scared to finish the series. I almost don't wanna know what happened to our young Eren, the poor boy who just wanted to be free.

Attack on titan was such a realistic story, probably the most realistic anime to have been made. The way the world is written makes it seem like pure fantasy, but the secrets the world hid from Eren gives it depth, how Eren looked grew more uncomfortable as time went on and when he kissed historia’s hand to find the truth, only to now know that he’ll never be free. Eren grew up, he put on a play to make him seem deep and empty, he did it all for humanity, and his final decision showed the human in him he had stored away as he suffered the pain of being a murderer. I’m sorry, but Eren Jeager is the most refined and well written mc.
Probably the best written shounen MC but there are better characters in other genres. Natsuki Subaru is a good example

I know right? I've heard some pretty depressing songs in my life, but nothing hits quite like this. Nothing even comes close. AmaLee has more than outdone herself. Sometimes I wonder if she can even be human with such an angelic voice like that, one that packs a harder punch to the heart than Neji's Gentle Fist attacks in Naruto. It's literally "out of this world".

I feel that the quick little dialogue was distracting in the original song. The lyrics were also changed in a better way to be sound like a rhythm in English. Great Job!

Ahhhh it was so emotional seeing this show grow so much and change throughout the years. It's one of the first shows I've ever seen finished after following it for so long and lately a lot of series I've been following for years have been coming to a close one by one. It's super emotional watching this series go, something I've been avidly watching since I was 13 or so but like all things good things must come to an end. It was an amazing journey to get here and I just wanna say thank you hajime isayama for bringing such a beautiful story and wonderful characters into my life and teaching me so much!!!
