There is Velcro on the bottom of the chasis that holds those straps in place while you fidget with the battery.
Change your plug to a single connection , 3 and 4s runs are legit. May wana thicken your center diff fluid and hot racing servo saver .

Hello! check all the diff ..in the center it comes with 500k and not filled enough, I put 1mil in the outcast and it is much better..Good luck!

I use a 158mm long Gens Ace 5000mah 50 c 4s Lipo I got on sale for $42 (regular price is $105)! It actually has more punch and run time than my 6200mah 80c 4s Hoovo! Also I adjusted the LVC to its lowest level. Great video! Keep them comin!

Good review, For a sub $500 RC it seemed very decent on the twin 2 s set up. The Bearing issue on the 1st run is disappointing to read. T would contact Horizon and request replacement.
Thank you. It is a nice car and very capable. I already emailed Arrma just awaiting the outcome. No way sand should be in there now I am worried about the rest of the bearings. I will be taping up that hole to keep dirt out.
Yeah on those remotes you can set steering end point so the steering will be right with remote not 2 much turn like your getting!
Mine is set fine I know how to set it I was pointing out how people made comments that setting them could get more steering as I showed it gets to a point its not moving and stressing the servo mine is not 2 much in fact to get technical its bound to my dx5c and I can set a different end point for.each side to truly dial it in my end points are not to much
Finally, more videos on the v2.5. Would love to know how the steering is. The first v2 was slow. Terribly slow. Does it push on hard cornering?

I did not feel it was slow at all. It actually took turns wide at speed I believe its due to the diff putting too much to the front the tires were spinning you can hear them skipping on the street run. I have a video coming up soon on the diff issue and a lit more with this rc

Its been a minute but I finally saw the lazy steering and it turning on its own when it hits bumps. I installed a new servo saver video will be out sometime lol I am behind getting stuff posted it will be there
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife as the car gets more dust in the pivot balls, the slop will get worse. Hot racing now has chrome 1/10 scale pivot balls instead of those plastic ones. The car after the saver, pivot balls and a fast servo becomes almost track ready

You need to use the remote to set your steering endpoints read the manuals
No I dont watch my channel I NEVER keep the factory remote why set it? You NEVER gain more steering setting end points read the manual its to keep the servo from pushing too far straining itself its on the manual read it

The 4S line is wonderful, long as you DONT do 5'+ jumps. If into jumps, better go 6S or 8S...You will go broke buying chassis for 4S line, plus shock towers. Within a year, you past 6S cost, just being very honest.
They revised the chasis so far I have jumped past that even took out a Jeep so gar its holding up good I did see where the old ones did break I think the 6s is the sweet spot a lot more forgiving the 8s will break something on a bad landing I have all of them I do prefer the 6s lineup thanks for watching and the comment

Hope your wrong😂 . I did buy titanium hinge pins/holder and skids. Hope that with the center brace will hold it all together. Give me 6foot jumps/drops🙏 Even my losi baja rey will do that all day❤
Traxxas Maxx is still $570 or so , just do a little tuning and you'll love it !

That center diff took up room in the chassis,it looked like that was fhe 2.5 thry call it. Theres away to ti set the end point on those factory remote, im fairly certain on razor rc he shows how to do it, theres a procedure to set thd end points with the factory remote it comes with. I think the kraton is a longer wheel base than the outcast, ud have to check into thet but i know that on the 3s line , the granite is the shortest,the vortex is either that same size or one longer, the medium sized then the big rock is lwb, but i do know that you can set the end points using the remote that comes with them,but its something you would have to watch, he is the only one I've seen show how to do it, i don't think its even in the instructions. Anyways I was just hoping to give you a little bit of help, i know you will switch over to the more expensive remote anyway but it might be able to set the same way if it doesn't have end point adjustments on it
Yup that is what they unofficially call 2.5 the Kraton is the longest of them. Just about all of these monster truck types have a big turning radius I actually stopped saying it because I get set the end points a lot. Yes you can gain movement from setting them for the most part you actually reduce travel to save wear and tear on the servo because it pushes past the travel and is moving the servo saver at that point. Most of the time your already getting as much as you can. Spektrum has really good videos on just about everything to do with their products. Yes I use the dx5 its just easier when you have a lot of cars to just have one remote. If the factory remote could bind more than 1 car like Traxxas I would do that for sure. On the dx5 I have a whole lot of settings lol I can dial in everything even add expo to slow steering down if need be like my Vendetta I ran over 100. Thanks for the info and watching I appreciate it

I am new to RC. You think I should get K4S or 6S? Which is more durable?
I would say the 4s is more durable and is cheaper to get into. Its the same speed out of the box as the 6s. Depends on what you want to do. If you want big air and more room to add bigger motors or gearing the 6s is betrer. If you want to run fast on the ground maybe jumps a few feet in the air both will do good at that.
@@L2theWcarscoffeelifeI am actually not planning on jumping it high in the air like in YT vids. Just as you say, driving fast offroad and small jumps. I was under the impression that 6S is much faster. I got the advice to get 6S but run it mostly on 4S so that way it's more durable than a 4S Kraton.
What do you think about 6s blx vs 6s exb? Everyone says to go for the exb if I'm going 6S.
if it just says exb its the old version the blx exb is the new release that has all the extra metal parts. People have a hate towards plastic chassis for some reason. If your only going to run 4s not much need for the 6s I have videos on both cars where I unbox and do the speed run. The 4s is very surprising how fast it goes I like the looks of the 6s better but its a bit more money and people go nuts over the metal parts and the title extreme bash I bounced the 4s off the hood of a Jeep did nothing to the rc. it depends on how much you want to open the wallet lol @@Themlpg73
@@L2theWcarscoffeelifeIt is the new Exb blx I was looking at, just checked. With metal parts. I didn't explain properly about running 4S on a 6S. At the beginning I would mostly run 4S but later go over more to 6S. I would like having the option to run 6S. Everyone I talk to is saying they eventually went up to 6S. So I'm thinking it's better I get the 6S capable one right away to avoid having to pay more later to upgrade.
So you think the non Exb 6S V5 Blx would be the better option for me? The main thing for me is to keep the mainteinance cost after the purchase as low as possible. I guess the non Exb 6S would be durable enough for my needs. 4S version seems like a great as well but I would probably like to have the option of 6S eventually.
Do you even use that big Bashing 6800 battery? It looks like it is stretching the entire chamber and at this point the floor loses its elasticity?
it didnt stretch anything I just didnt like how hard it was pushing on the wires and actually I grabbed this by mistake its my 6s pack so that would have been a bad day for the esc lol. Even my 4s Gens ace are as long as the 6s I did get some 4S packs by Zee that fit nicely a little bit more power than the smaller Spektrum packs I dont really like running 2 batteries.

When I need to get in there I will definitely do a video on the front and rear I do have a video on the center diff I had to remove it because it was dry they pretty much are all the same if you see how to open it and how it works they are the same just different to remove the front and rear. Check out that video on the center it should help a lot.

Lol ok that makes sense now. I have it bound to my dx5 now and I haven't seen the issue again but I was not doing big jumps yeah punch can have an effect ot definitely helped the big rock. Appreciate the suggestion and watching

What you are seeing is the reinforced part its a lot thicker there as that is where people were breaking the chassis so there is more gusseting there so it sticks out a bit its normal not broken.
