Awesome, many great reasons to pick up a WiiU. U picked up mine to play Wii games but I'm instead playing WiiU games because I like the gamepad and they're cheaper then the switch versions
The free online thing is great and who knows some games might have their own independent online servers. Like Call of Duty games for the Wii which were totally independent and close down their service 2 years ago.
i bougth f-zero x, mario golf, mario tennis, star fox 64, zelda ocarina of time and majoras mask. they all run well and i can play them on the gamepad, so i dont have to hook it to a tv.
I did it don't regret it. Also *Virtual Console* Not as good as the Wii which I unfortunately missed out on but its still here its also on the 3ds get both if possible before March 27th make sure to link the nintendo id and account to add money to the 3ds and wii u eshop after tommorow I recommend if you travel more or just aren't home a lot to buy single player games on 3ds and multi-player on Wii U Also if you're buying GBA and/or DS games on the Virtual Console be careful you can only play single player That includes all the DS and GBA games such as Mario Kart Super Circuit and DS Mario Party I didn't look for any others I'm really going to miss the virtual console when it's forever gone on the Wii U and 3DS One day the nintendo switch online subscription will end and we will lose all those games that came with it. Perhaps they will do something so we don't because the expansion pack comes with add ons for games that would be a mess Nintendo would have to clean if they want subscribers for their Gen 9 Online Subscription Otherwise the expansion pack for that system would be good as gone without a price reduction Virtual console let's you get old games for cheap Sure there are the arcade archives on the switch but they are all 8 dollars and they're only NES although I do recommend the original Donkey Kong from that it comes with the arcade exclusive pie factory level
Yeah I need to make a move and download a bunch of stuff before march. Sounds like Nintendo put themselves in a bad spot because if they had a great virtual console i wouldn’t consider buying a Wii U or 3ds at all, id just buy the switch. And that console will be replaced in a year probably. Retro Nintendo stuff is getting expensive because of all this lol
@@Hangryaf Well I've been to a lot but there's one in Georgia it's mom and pop I got my Wii U and 3DS and a lot of games from Video Game Trader LLC there's another in Puerto Rico called el museo de video juegos or in english the museum of video games but it's a retro store despite the name and it has comics and other stuff too. They might even have an odyssey or Atari or other systems before the NES and they have everything modern and retro so does Trader LLC
You can get a lot of games from the following series.. (by default 3DS and Non-Advance type Gameboy games do not count) Metroid F-Zero. Kirby. Wario. Donkey Kong (Topical Freeze is delisted on the eShop so better get the Switch version as a bonus DK64 has the original DK Arcade game inside the game) Star Fox Punch Out (Does not have the Nintendo Club exlusive Doc Lois Punch Out or Mike Tyson's Punch out) Excite Series (Only missing Excite Trucks from the Wii and the Wiiware game)
In the virtual console, all of my button inputs register a full second late. I have multiple remotes and pro controllers too. I might just get a Switch until Nintendo decides to slow it down and sell us the next system.
Still love that between the Wii U and 3DS, every Zelda game up to Age of Calamity is playable (minus the CDi games of course)
yep it makes the wii u an awesome console to conveniently play the zelda games
Im buying one!!!
Bought one the other day. Building my catalogue of games right now. Much cheaper than owning a switch
definitely a good time to start collecting wii u. it’s starting to rise in price from what I have seen.
I have a good collection too but just want to make sure I have enough decent peripherals. These types of videos really help

You should do a video on top games still exclusive to the WiiU
Absolutely. Right behind this #wiiuin2022 movement 😎 I bought Twilight Princess HD, Minish Cap, Star Fox Zero and some other goodies.
Enjoy your Wii U man :) its gonna be a gem of a console in the long run.

I got a Wii U back in 2014.
I did it don't regret it. Also

I recommend if you travel more or just aren't home a lot to buy single player games on 3ds and multi-player on Wii U
Also if you're buying GBA and/or DS games on the Virtual Console be careful you can only play single player
That includes all the DS and GBA games such as Mario Kart Super Circuit and DS
Mario Party
I didn't look for any others

My Wii U shat itself dead after factory resetting so I can start off a clean slate. Great console for 2022 and many years after
without fear of success!, the Wii U is a very complete console even today, and more if you release it
I bought one last year and seller posted it in better condition than it was I need a hdmi port replacement and a battery on the hand held
That honestly sucks.. hope it all gets sorted.
What is the date that Nintendo shits down online support?
I’d hope they never shit it down

I kind of want one but i have cemu.
0:47 Most of those are on the switch there is not really a point
I subscribe, any support for the Wii U community the better!
It's expensive so i probably wont pick it up
yea bc it was discontinued. just get a good condition used one or a refurbished one.
Wii u is better! I will buy one!
