I use the spiral delay rather than the echo, but that's irrelevant, but if you use the filter (with the channel fader up) and stab the filter from all the way left to 12 o'clock on certain parts you get a similarly cool effect. I use it on non-vocal parts too.

You can only use the onboard hardware effects as post-fader for the DDJ-SZ. I don't understand why the DDJ-SZ cannot use the Serato DJ effects Post Fade. The SX and SX2 are able to do this. I can use the post fade effects on the volume and cross faders. Is there something I am missing? How can a controller that cost twice as much miss this feature?
What do I have to actually activate to use post fader, I have 2 effects selected but does it have to be in the loop pads or can I do it on a cue point or a straight echo/delay out, So I’m playing a track and want to end it, how do I use the fader or xfader to activate the effects ? Or do I gave to manually use the dedicated fx buttons at the top to fade the effect out…I hope this makes sense lol
I'm not following. Haven't had a SX 2 in years... get yourself a REV-7 and you'll never look back. Hardware Fx on it are ridiculous. Motorized platters are so good.
Hi there ive been using traktor pro for about a year now with no problems,but just recently the last few times ive been djing the track thats playings suddenly the sound goes off as the track grind continues to move along,this has happen about 10 times now.Ive installed traktor again thinking it might be the softwear,but it has happened again,so i used another pc with new softwear and its happened again on my other pc,ive been told it might be due to the tracks not being analyzed,any idea what the problem could be,its happened when playing different tracks,at the start of the night and also towards the end of the night,i thought it was my pc but its happened on both now,with new softwear on both any help out there.
+calvin smith Hmm.. I'll try it. Also, original mixes of songs work 99% of the times. You just need to adjust it when you're pre listening (Sorry for my bad English :P)

I like to play the song and put on echo then freeze the song and let the echo go on .Then drop the song back on .this sounds nice as well.

That's pretty dope. Although I'm not a fan of the song, this trick actually makes a really cool remix tool for dj's. I'm gonna test it out tonight.

On some songs sync doesn't work correctly
