Forget about selling to US for now. Expand to South East Asia, you will sell much more vehicles in South East Asia than in Europe with much lower operating cost.
Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia are still poor nations. I'm not sure how many you can sell in these countries. BYD don't do very well in Vietnam

I wish I had enough fortitude to have bought a ton when it was 3.80 a share back in mid April. My share prices have been all over the place; whenever I buy in, the price seems to drop, but hopefully the prices explodes in the next few quarters or so, which none of this will really matter.

People Need to know how ready to explode that this company is. There is a lot of misconceptions about NIO's helt and growth. There is a lot of disbelief about ONVO. However, I believe that everything is going great! Also NIO power and power swap is taking over as the prefered Chinese transportation energy source. US terifs only make nio file some paperwork. It also makes it much harder for NIO to enter North America and be profitable. Not to worry NIO and ONVO have big enough markets over seas!

Yesterday, the trading volume was significantly high, with buying volume about twice as much as selling volume. However, today's volume so far is only about 1/6 of yesterday's. How should we interpret this? In my opinion, the short sellers who sold yesterday need to buy back at a lower price within the next three days. Since there are no sellers willing to sell at this lower price, the trading volume has decreased. Additionally, today's price trend, with a less than 2% change compared to yesterday's big drop, supports this view. Keep an eye on it until next Monday, and you'll likely witness a sharp increase by Tuesday.

Looks like they are just trying to shake out weak hands before sales numbers confirm what we know sales are exploding, margins are getting better and huge pre orders of sub brand in addition we China economy entering new bull cycle. So many catalysts coming and remember the other sub brand fire fly coming in 2025 so they will have the complete automotive market covered.
My expectations are that NIO settles in around 20% growth but I’m expecting ONVO to catch up by 2026. The basic math of that is NIO/ONVO combined sales will be half a million by 2026 plus Firefly sales. So Revenue should 3x over the next 30 months. Even leaving the PS at 1 the share price is a triple but I actually expect them to be profitable towards the end of 2025 so it’s likely the PS gets a re-rating of a 2 or a 3 so the share price should be somewhere between $30-45.
Bulls .....Eye! By end of 2025, Nio and Tesla share prices will both be around $70, the price trajectory of Nio moving up, Tesla's moving down. Reason: Nio will take all of Model 3 and Model Y market in China, which is about 500,000 vehicles a year. Tesla will be relegated to Europe and US, but even Europe will begin to get Onvo, unless they essentially ban it through tariffs like the US has done. But doesn't matter - the Chinese market is the size of the European and US markets combined. By end of 2026, Nio will be $140 and Tesla $40.

None of us are selling Nio. Once we get read of the shorts and day traders Nio will climb to new highs.
new ATH ( all time highs) are hard to beat, but this Quarter results, highs and numbers, are of paramount importance for NIO's future. I can see NIO rising up to anywhere between $15 and $20 or, maybe, - fingers crossed- low $20s; just to imprint themselves as a profitable company/brand, no doubts about it. and from there, the sky will be the limit for NIO.
NIO and ONVO cars could be in strong demand from Russia. Last year almost half of car registrations were related to CN cars! This demand is being driven for lack of western cars, Russia productions being reshaped towards military equipment and the "great friendship"-feeling between RU and CN. And this "friendship" will prevail since RU is the biggest of all debtors for CN credits (around 101 billion Euro).

I expect the price to go above $6 after next Tuesday when the insurance registration numbers are announced which should continue to rise. I expect pre-orders for Onvo to be at least 100k. Once announced we will see an accelerated price increase for Nio above $7.

No, it's not a normal pullback. No stock jumps 6% premarket then plunges well over 12% shortly after opening on double the normal volume on no negative news like earnings miss or bankruptcy. Something's going on. And if this is the way this stock's being manipulated then this is the wrong stock to be invested in.

Onvo deliveries start in September
Politics plays an important role here. The 100% US tariffs and Putin's meeting with Xi impact China’s economy between the West and the EU. This most likely scares away big institutions from investing.
That is true but in the case of Europe, there is still openness with China, they still have good relations and very active trade. There's a reason Xi met with Macron recently. Germany confirmed that for the moment, tariffs will not apply to Chinese EVs and there are good business relations with the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Hungary to open a Nio factory. With the US goverment, the relationship is quite deteriorated they greatly fear China's manufacturing power.

Deliveries don’t mean much at this point unless they translate to profitability. All that matters is profitability. Thats the ONLY thing that will take the power out of traders hands.

@ricotoet8707 ssr = short sale restriction. This means the stock is halted for volatility. Up or down this case down. Sice it triggered a circuid braker, which means it sold to to quick to much without significant changes to underlying assets.
I can't tell you what the value should be because at this point, nio is pure speculation. Wall Street works on revenue eqrning and growth. Everything else is fluff.

@ricotoet8707 What SSR [short sale restriction] does ia this: it disallows the short sale on the bid price. Meaning if the stock is 5.25 bid and 5.26 ask a short seller can still short just not at the bid price but on up tick ask price. Tomorrow this will be lifted, ssr is 24 hours only. It is a protection mechanism.
