I normally use the t slot . It helps to show the thread when u verify.

why divide 1" by 13? to get the thread pitch whats the formula for thread pitch

1/2-13 means (13 threads in 1 inch) so 1/13=.0769 is your thread pitch. Master cam needs that value to calculate the G code
