Nice video, clear and concise. I'm a CNC programmer and was wondering what software you use to edit your videos? Currently I'm just using OBS studio to screen capture and I'm waiting to get a microphone for audio, any suggestions would be much appreciated as I begin my journey to teaching machining and mastercam through TH-cam. Thanks in advance!
DRAGON TIGER Mastercam already offsets the tool by half the diameter. The G41 cutter comp is used to make small offsets to adjust the size of your finished part. So you don’t have to enter a value in the diameter offset page for that tool during setup.
Hello Tom. I am a new cnc programmer. I watch most of your videos. You are great as a teacher. I program for a haas lathe and a vmc. I am using mastercam to generate codes. Recently I am not getting desired product finish on the OD and Bore. I am using matric formuls for speeds and feeds correctly as per your video lesson on speed and feed. But there seems to little bit of chattering on the job everytime. I also applyed SSV as per haas recomendation. But when I turn the job manually from the VPS it gives perfect finish withot any tailstock support. Sir can u plz help I also have a question on cutter comp on milling operations. I never used wear option . I let it default computer setting. I still get finish within +1 thou accuracy(which is allowable in my case). Would u please explain the difference between wear/computer. And when should I start using wear.
Sir I have a question. There are many contour in a program I want on every entry point M7 and every exit pint M8. How can I do this . Kindly guide men.

I use Camtasia 9 to edit my videos. It is very easy to use. Let me know if I can help in any way. Thanks for the feedback. Tom
Hi Tom, when you are using G41 or G42 . Do we have to tell tell (offset page in cnc machine 1/2 “D2” or “tool wear)for finish path?. Thank sir!
