I don't think so.. I've seen enough of happy Indian parents proud of their children's success. But I think they just behave different when they move to other countries. Indian parents have given up on their strict upbringing.
@@wittypal2608 If you think Indian Parents have given up on their strict upbringing, I suggest you visit more households in India because I, being an Indian, have faced and still face a lot of parental pressure to be perfect in all fields of life ranging from being a perfect student, a perfect personality, a perfect visionary and so on. Generally, a perfect human being which is not possible. I'm not saying that this is the case for ALL the Indian teenagers because not every parent would put too much pressure on their offsprings but it is definitely the case for most Indian households where parents except perfection from their children. Being proud is a different case. First, parents demotivate us by saying we can't be successful in doing this and that and second, when the child actually succeeds in cracking an exam or an interview or accomplishing any noticeable achievement, they come and tell them that they are proud of him/her and had faith in them from the beginning when they were actually demoralizing them in the first place. I guess this is a tactic that they use to mentally empower their wards to give their 100% in everything. Again, not saying that this is the case for all Indians.
I feel like happiness is one of the most important things to be successful. I feel like this guy enjoys what he's doing but doesn't like going to school because of how many boring classes he has to go too. He's extremely intelligent for his age and I give him props for that. But the education system is just awful I feel like. His grades were bad, but how much u wanna bet that everybody was shocked until he got the perfect SAT score. School only cares about grades instead of people's future. They should instead care about what makes the student happy so they can enjoy what they like to do. But big raise to this young gentlemen for finding a career that makes him happy.
What are you even saying? School is school. Why make it into anything else? You think they should teach you how to be a hoe? Onlyfans? No. It’s to learn basic math English and science. You can then apply those to real world scenarios or go to higher education to reinforce the teachings and get a real world changing career. Or go into debt just to work at Starbucks.
@@iHasaComputer Funny you say that because u just answered one question of mine talking about debt. People who go to college are spending tens of thousands of dollars not knowing what they want to do in life. And also not having any type of financial advice. Plus, most of the things we learn in school are completely useless and will be never be used in the real world. And people u mentioned making only fans aren't even educated in the first place. They are just delusional people who find easy ways to make money. Its honestly a sick world we live in. Another thing is standardize tests. If there was a person who fails a test or a class, he/she would feel useless which would defeat the purpose of someone's dream. And I'm not saying that school should be banned. All I'm saying is that we should fix our education system so that everyone feels comfortable going to school instead of stressing about an assignment that's due in one day. And I hate when people say, "well that's the way life is." And to that I say, "no, that's not the way life is. We can definitely figure out a way to change the education system and make school a better place for everyone." Thank You

The man was failing out of high school and struggled growing up. He was raised by a single mom in the Midwest. He promised his mother he’d take the SAT test. He didn’t expect to get a good score. His score came back. He got a 1480 out of 1600 on the SAT. His mother, knowing her kid, asks, “Did you cheat?” He swore to her he didn’t cheat. In his senior year he realizes he’s smart and decides to attend classes. He stops hanging out with his old crowd. The teachers and kids seemed to notice. They started treating him differently. He graduates, attends community college, goes on to Wichita State, and eventually to an Ivy League. He goes on to become a successful magazine entrepreneur. You think, he’s smart. He just needed the standardized test to unlock his potential. No. This isn’t the story. What comes next is the important part. 12 years later the man gets a letter in the mail from Princeton, New Jersey. He doesn’t think anything about it. The next day his wife asks him if he’s going to open the letter. He opens it. It turns out the SAT board periodically reviews their test taking procedures and policies. He was one of 13 people sent the wrong SAT score. His actual score was 740. People say his whole life changed when he got the 1480. What really happened is his behavior changed. He started acting like a person with a 1480 and started doing what someone with a score like that does.
This is the fakest story i’ve ever heard. The SAT used a totally different scoring system until 2016, and a 1480 is in the bottom percentile of Princeton admissions standards.
@🌸workout ssassy🌸 wait... What if I told you... Indians are asians too 😱
I salute him for being able to get home without a “ you should’ve studied longer “ from his parents.
Agreed
We can definitely figure out a way to change the education system and make school a better place for everyone."
Thank You

I’m confused why this is such a huge achievement; there are plenty of people who achieve this every single exam. It’s impressive for sure, but not news worthy…
As an Indian, I would try my best to hide this from my parents lol 😅
Same as a chinese
Same as a Nigerian lmaoo

My relatives had already shown this video to my father 😭. He is coming.
contrary to popular belief, the SAT actually isn't super difficult, no more than some advanced algebra and 10th grade English. still impressive, just questionably newsworthy
yes, i agree. math can be trivial, just reading is a little difficult.
what was ur score caleb?
@@smithereensloccomotives678 I mean, I agree with Caleb, I got a 1560 (760 EBRW/800 Math) after just studying on the Friday before at the end of my freshman year.
Maybe it's not super difficult because it was designed for high schoolers
Deadass? why do people hype it up then.
I cant believe these type of people are real 💀😵💫 I can only admire them
I literally know so many of my friends from India who scored a perfect score. It's quite common for Indian students to get it. But I'll be honest, it's meaningless. We're just good at tests and there's nothing beyond that. Yeah once in a while we have we have people like Sundar Pichai.
True.
Yes this test's difficulty is too low than JEE Advanced🥵
@@KR_3301 Exactly lol
@@KR_3301 it's very easy as compared to advance
@@KR_3301 even advanced is quite easy lol
