    Homeschooling your kids? Thats very nice!
    The Adder looks like a nice way to defend your home if you dont have access to firearms. My country has very strict gun laws and the Adder probably is the most effective thing we can own

    Better a Cobra Rx with 15" bolt and hunting tip. Then the intruder is bled out faster than he can say that he only wanted to ask for a glass of water.

    you probably already figured out but, there are two adjustable "holes" on the sight, (up and right) you need to adjust them using a hex tool provided with the purchase. you need to play around and fire multiple times in order to make a perfect adjustment.

    190 pound arms now available.

  • @Narinjas
    @Narinjas ปีที่แล้ว +2

    There should really be a "training wheels" version of 100 pounds and dry fire resistant, basically you beef up the arms, string and stoppers, so they can be safely dry fired.

    • @Narinjas
      @Narinjas ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also, having the magazine on top, it could be made so that it has an auto lubrication system, and you just top up on lubrication fluid, like in other tools, and be made so you can fire 70x 190 pounds shots, or 100x shots for the 130 pounds, before completely empty on lubrication fluid, using the reloading action to lubrify the rail.

    I got the first generation stinger crossbow, the plastic one. I think it would be a good home defense weapon. I added a light to it, took out the safety pin, and a few other modifications. I just bought the Stinger 2 compact version, I think this one would be better because cocking it would be faster. I do plan on buying an actual gun one day, but these two crossbows will do just fine for now.

    I also have a crossbow, and I got it as an alternative to a gun. However, the limitation with a crossbow is that it needs to be reloaded for every shot. Unlike guns, crossbows aren’t semi-automatic, so they’re not effective for home defense against multiple opponents.

    • @Samy-bu1ze
      @Samy-bu1ze หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Multiple firearms are not semi auto the fact is most of the guns accessible for civilians are manual repeaters (shotgun, single action revolver etc) so your point doesn't make ny sense. You dont have to "reload" the adder but recock it and the process is quite quick

    Definitely better for home defense than a full size one or even the seiage 300,thats a bit bulky and you could get into a grappling showdown, were as the R9RX is part of your profile and you can protected it, in turn people would be less likely to stick around and find out by the quicker smaller r9rx being pointed in the general direction will make them poop 💩 their pants ...cool video 👍

      I’ve had it for a few years. Replaced the original 5 shot plastic magazine with the 7 shot. No issues at all so far. No jams, no string breakage, nothing. It’s reliable and, within ten meters or so, more than sufficiently accurate.

    Recommend a self healing archery target that allows you to pull the bolt out with 2 fingers. You probably ruined your bolts. Try Bodkin tips, they will go even further through the target. Also, once you get your Red dot sighted in, then match it to a laser pointer and you can hit bulleyes from the hip.

    • @Igiveashitofaname
      @Igiveashitofaname 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Bodkin tips don't make much of a difference at least with the 130 lb limbs, i tried it with plywood and archery mats they just penetrate about 2cm deeper on 10m distance. Maybe they have a more devestating effect on soft "Zombie Bodys" because of the Bodkin shape. But the field tips are good enough for self defence.
      Also it is realy hard to damage the carbon bolts itself, the veins could be a little bit knittered if the bolt goes to deep but you can fix this with a little heat from a hair dryer or toaster.

  • @Sandra-Sarinya

    🤦‍♀️

    Shooting that close is not a good idea unless you want to dug the bolt up each time.... though it resembles more a home defense situation. In any case there are several videos with the Adder being reasonably precise even at semi-long distances.
    Also, 600$? Wow, i understand it is imported in the US, but still. The real price should be around 400.
