This is just one of many things which shows how powerful humans are with knowledge and education. This was and will be the biggest battleship ever made and sailed. Boy I fell bad for it.
Yamato's sinking follows the same theme as the battle of Shiroyama: The samurai ( Yamato ) make a last stand gainst the new Imperial Army (aircraft). Just like the Imperial army rendered the Samurai obsolete, Aircraft rendered the Battleships obsolete
Great comparison, considering professionals stated that the production of the yamato was like "making the perfect sword, when everyone is making machineguns"
the yamato was one of the most impressive and strongest warships ever even if she hadnt saw much battles. but dont forget about the german "Bismarck" which was a great battleship too and also one of the bests
If Yamato is legendary (and she is) what does that say about the USS Johnston, USS Hoel, USS Heerman, and USS Samuel B. Roberts? It says there are labels even more impressive than legendary.
The shocking thing is when the Yamato was sinking still anti aircraft guns were in work because the crew was not scared of death , this is known as bravery
Once a significant list occurred the AA guns became about impossible to operate. Only 10 planes were lost sinking the Yamato and 4 of her escorts. Two of them were thought to have been lost when the ship blew up and hit them circling overhead.
No, that is not bravery. That is fanaticism. Their military culture meant they were brainwashed sheep willing to die for their Emperor. It also caused them to commit the most atrocious war crimes. The Japanese today are MUCH BETTER off now they have that culture regulated to history.

This is just one of many things which shows how powerful humans are with knowledge and education. This was and will be the biggest battleship ever made and sailed.
Boy I fell bad for it.
Yamato.. mother of all battle ships...
Love you... ur real samurai.....u wl remembered forever..
I love japan

No offense
Dobrze nagrane,przedstawione real.Nigdy więcej wojny.NO MORE WAR!!
Yamato will live on memories forever as great defender of nation...

Yamato and Musashi are the true Legends of WW2 :)
Overwhelming. Terrifyingly beautiful. May it never happen again.

Genesis 7000 yeah it is Rip sleep well in the ocean
It breaks my heart!!!! Such a legend!!!! You always gonna be in my heart Yamato ;(
Yamato's sinking follows the same theme as the battle of Shiroyama:
The samurai ( Yamato ) make a last stand gainst the new Imperial Army (aircraft).
Just like the Imperial army rendered the Samurai obsolete, Aircraft rendered the Battleships obsolete
Great comparison, considering professionals stated that the production of the yamato was like "making the perfect sword, when everyone is making machineguns"
This is one of the biggest battleship
THE LAST BRAVE JAPANESE YAMATO... ! THE LAST HONOR LAD JAPANESE YAMATO... !🌏 Greetings from TURKEY..!🌙

i love yamato
the yamato was one of the most impressive and strongest warships ever even if she hadnt saw much battles. but dont forget about the german "Bismarck" which was a great battleship too and also one of the bests
Beautiful so Beautiful
The Yamato battleship was a hero, and so its crew. RESPECT+++
Yamato and Bismark are the definition of beauty 😍
They look great sitting on the ocean floor...exactly where they both needed to be put.
不思議ですね~、この動画を観るといつも涙が止まらなくなるんです。

Mighty Yammy!♡♡♡
May the souls of all the young warriors who went down with her be resting in peace...🙏

❤❤❤😭
we can all agree on something. the yamato was a beautiful ship that we all wish didn't need to sink
Yamato and Bismark both are legendary
Yamato is way more powerful
if the bismarck was in this situation it probably would've sank a long time ago before the Yamato

I love Germany 🇩🇪 & Japan 🇯🇵💪
If Yamato is legendary (and she is) what does that say about the USS Johnston, USS Hoel, USS Heerman, and USS Samuel B. Roberts? It says there are labels even more impressive than legendary.
Strength and Honor to all our Brothers and Sisters in the Great nation of Japan!
1:25 now that is a really good shot of yamato and her crew!
I salute the brave men of the Yamato.
Beautifull ship.

1:23 Damn that's alot of Japanese.
in every battleship there is atleast 2000 men on board that's why
- American soldier at Pearl Harbor (circa 1941)
means that all of them died
that is over 500.000 japanese
乗組員は3332人生存者は254人
IJN yamato Was brave, sank with honor and will be remembered as the deadliest battleship in history
Long after the rest is forgotten, the memory of a enemies courage, honor and willingness to die for their country remains.
It wasn't death they should have feared.. those were shark infested waters.. it took days to eat them all.
@Ambo Quinto 1936? Midway? are you taking in too much saki?
@Ambo Quinto battle of midway happened in 1942 not 1936
No, that is not bravery. That is fanaticism. Their military culture meant they were brainwashed sheep willing to die for their Emperor. It also caused them to commit the most atrocious war crimes. The Japanese today are MUCH BETTER off now they have that culture regulated to history.
