Good advice. I am a professional audio engineer. I am of course very careful of protecting my ears. The worst thing you can do is let the wind noise ruin your ears. You will eventually have irreversible damaged. Even a full face helmet will ruin your hearing because they all resinate at their own frequency. There are a ton of good ear buds out there. I actually don't use them. I use ear plugs specially made for me. If you have 30db of reduction you're probably good. It's a shame many riders never think about their ears.
There’s a few nice noise isolating earbuds out there that are great for riding. I use the Shure SE215 with the noise reducing ear tips. Sennheiser and Elgin make good earbuds as well.
Just read an article in our Vero Beach-West Palm Beach News paper that all earphones, and earbuds are against the law in Florida. They gave the penile codes in the article. Thanks and still love your channel
Do whatever you like I was just on your coast riding around a ton of cops without issue, I guess going over the speed limit is as well and we all do that as well. When I get pulled over for the earbuds I’ll do a video on it. So far 40 states and over 50,000 miles, countless rallies, and all good
@TheBadgers I was just letting you and everyone else . against the law and not here to try and argue. Of course, all laws are broken by many of us. That's a silly statement.
Thanks for the info. I ordered a set and they arrived today. Looking forward to trying them tomorrow. The only issue I have with the over the ear attachment is I wear glasses but fortunately these come with the other in ear attachment so we will see how that do you on my way to work.
This is why I bought the modular full-face helmet on Amazon with Bluetooth set installed/built in. I can talk with others on it or listen to music from my droid on the handlebar mount. I'm headin' out to the highway...
The reason I watch and follow you Sonny is because you are not like the other influencers, and we all know who they are. You know the ones that sound like Billy Mays selling us the Shamwow that have sold their soul to the TH-cam devil. Keep doing what you’re doing buddy you’re one of us. Have a great day!!
Thanks for the info I been looking for a sound solution when riding with my half helmet I like that you have had yours for two years and if one blows out I am not out a hundo. Sold
Are they comfortable against your ears with the helmet on? I have had some that just push too hard against my ear when wearing my full face helmet. Thank you for the recommendation.
Thank you for the video. I wear a half lid style helmet and am worried about some of the other style earbuds falling out and don’t want to leave a $200 set of earbuds on the road!
I tried ear plugs. I found it irritating to have something in my ears. I did start wearing my fullface helmet all the time. Especially when I ride the Sportster. It has no windshield. Everyone needs to decide for themselves. If other people wear or do not wear ear protection that is their choice.
I have 2 pair in inventory I can sell 1 red frame 1 black frame. If you want a pair let me know I will give you a link to purchase and get them shipped to you
My only question is: I DO wear a full-face helmet, and it's a pretty tight fit. I'm wondering if these will fit inside my helmet without causing a lot of pressure/pain on my ears?
I noticed you have a Fat Boy with no windshield. Do you wear these earbuds on that bike and how is the wind noise reduction on that? I have a Softail with no windshield and am looking for wind noise reduction while using navigation.
Can you still wear them under a helmet? Can you get the helmet on and off comfortably or do they rip your ears off? I saw a video review of some wired ear buds and they said that they fit well in the ear and did not protrude much at all so it was easy getting the helmet on and off. I would prefer the wireless. Just wondering what your experience was wearing them with a helmet.
@@jeffspooner7637 I have a sena in my helmet so if I am in a state that requires a helmet I am using the sena system and not these earbuds so I don’t have any experience with that

I have wore them all over the country up and down main street pulled them out to talk to the police 👮 no one cares.
@TheBadgers yes I also, but they are still against the law in Florida, and they are starting to enforce it here on the Right Coast.
