Hovercraft Build UH-14P

  • I started building this hovercraft in April of 2010. In early 2011, we finished the initial functions and were able to get it to hover. It is still underpowered for the performance I anticipated, but we did get it over 30 MPH on the snow covered field at the end of the video.

    man i love building uh foam crafts. im wanting to build a 13 wing
    you guys did a great job. a lil heavy but its a pretty nice craft

    Looks like some nice work, what size engine are you running. 14P really scoot when you get them set up right. 25hp will get you 60 mph on snow and ice!!

    What size engine did you put on it? I am building an all foam 14p right now with almost no wood that will have a 27hp on it.

    @TheSticky1970 Same as yours. We over built parts, though, and made it a bit heavier than it should be.

    Great video, great build. I was wondering how you got the drive from a vertical shaft engine to both props. Also for some constructive criticism, mute the music when the videos play. It doesn't fit, I almost thought there was music somewhere else playing. We want to hear the roar of the engine... Check out my channel for a RC hovercraft I built with two weed eater engines.
