    Really cool Hovercraft, great job🤩 I'm about to build one myself so this one gave me some inspiration.

    Does it go over water? I thought that's what Hovercraft do

    Im thinking a smaller skateboard sized version with carbon fiber wings and powerful turbines attached to each wing that only activate when you lift your front leg up

    Your channel is brilliant! So much fun.
    Those little fans really kick out don’t they!

      Thanks Greg, you just made my day 😀 very kind words sir! I’m working on lots of new content coming soon. Yes the fans are exceptionally powerful but also the hovercraft effect is very efficient. It’s difficult to drive, just like driving on ice. The hovercraft is getting some upgrades, I’ll do a video soon testing the top speed and driving on water. 👍

      Thanks, I have permission to use an airfield, so will see the top speed with and without me on it in Part 3. I recon it will go fast. It would be crazy on sand - like a sandstorm!!

    Keep at it, you're doing some quality stuff here. We used the 200cc version of your motor as our hydraulic pump motor at Robot Wars ;)
    Maybe have more of you and less of the minutiae of the build? Love the little short-cuts. Reminded me of a very funny video where someone did a stop motion animation of, say, sanding an edge down by pretending it was being smoothed with a butter knife. Also pretending a nail was being pushed in with the back of a spoon. Just a suggestion.

      Would love to see your robot, are you on Instagram?

    is it impossible to make them quiet and dust free/turbulance free? We have approaches to reduce sonic boom but we can't harmonize and filter the air?

      Hi, yes should do. I’m doing a water test in part 3 👍

    I attempted to make a Hoverboard, but concerned about how powerful EDF I gonna use to lift up 50kg. May I know how heavy the whole thing is?(including your weight)

    • @majorhavoc
      @majorhavoc  ปีที่แล้ว

      I weigh 95kgs and the hovercraft is 50kgs. Hovercrafts have a very efficient lift. The size and volume under the hovercraft are more important than motor power 👍
