  • Had to put the e28 (535is) back together. Motor is the original M30b34 that came with the car. Getting the car ready for slide season in SoCal. Enjoy!

    Ay, nice work ! I know that " pulled it apart 3 months ago" anxiety. You've got a new Sub here.

    LETS GOOO! my fav parts of this video were love tap counter going from 2 to 5, torqued to spec & the pacing back and forth just to find a mallet to put under the wheel to get the jack out 😂😭 great video & loved the detailed shots of putting all the accessories on!

    Hi , I’m in the middle of my m30 rebuild. I mounted my engine like you did on this video.I just saw a video on instagram from a guy who is doing S38 rebuild. And he said BMW prohibited S38 engines to be mounted longitudinal and they must be mounted transverse otherwise it cause block distortion due to length and weight! It’s just freaking me out as S38 and M30 are very similar in weight and length. Did you ever had a problem with block distortion?? Or any similar issues?

    Did the arp head studs cause any issue? I hear on the forum they are not shouldered like the originals allowing for lateral movement of the head? Just curious if maybe arp has fixed that problem.

      The studs aren't shoulldered but haven't had any problems with the studs so far

    Any info on who did your block and head? I'm in TX, but I have a 535is with M30B35 waiting to be restored. We have no real OG bimmer scene here in San Antonio unfortunately so I have no idea who to trust when it comes to machining work.

    Aye man, love the video. I'm in the process of rebuilding and boosting an m30b35 and was wondering how you removed the 36mm nut off the crank?

      Used an electric impact and torched the nut to remove it. Keep alternator and belt attached and use those to keep crank in place. Good luck!

    B35 intake manifold on B34 lower end and head?? Did you port match it?

    • @jucuboyz
      @jucuboyz  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The manifold isn't port matched, but did give the car a small but noticeable torque increase and growl on induction
