Your trainer was increadably professional and dedicated. He did not try to over instruct like some nervous instructors do. That's how instructing should be.
Glad to hear you have completed certification Kay, and a fantastic airplane.

Remember, every flight is a training flight, even when the instructor isn't along for the ride. The added comfort of a second engine in IFR conditions is nice to have although in order to take advantage of it on departure you need to understand you climb gradient (or lack of), just flew back from PSM and at 900ft I was in the clouds, month prior it was 400ft and heavy rain. Take it easy for a bit as you are still learning the aircraft, yes it is a big Cherokee but as you noted it is a lot heavier and it is quite a bit faster. Please be safe, and maybe I'll see you and Pops again at OSH this year.

And by god- do NOT fall prey to the devil’s lure of flying far on only one engine. Lose one and it’s time to look down for a strip asap. SSSSOOOOOO many folks burn-in because they thought they could fly home on one engine.
I know you’ve heard this a million times. I guess I’m just jealously mansplaining 😂😂😂🎉 take me for a ride?! ❤❤

"alternator air" is alternate air. Backup clean air source if something in the intake gets blocked. I carry more power for the feather test. She pulled back like a mag check, I think a review of what the feather check is for would be important.

I can appreciate the way you configure the cameras. I am very specific as to which TH-cam channels I subscribe to and your channel is one of them. I can appreciate the fact that you talk through every detail from start to finish throughout every flight. I’m continually doing a lot of preemptive studying on my own. The goal is to become a private pilot with an IFR rating and a multi engine rating, if it is in God’s plan for me to do so. I’ve been a single parent for a very long time to both of my children and my youngest is now planning to go to University, so I need to put their needs first before mine. I did do some flying in the past but not as of now. I have a Bose A20 aviation headset and would love to use them. They’ve been sitting around for roughly two years now with no use. If you happen to be in the South Florida area at any time, would love to do a nice TH-cam video. Thanks for your professionalism in the left seat. Looking forward to many more teaching videos (in my case), from you. Amen.

Hello! Writing from Sweden and I just found this channel on TH-cam. Clicked the subscribe button too. Since the age of 12, (almost 50 years ago) I have been fascinated by flights and airplanes. My dad had a Piper PA38 Tomahawk from 1978, which he used for work. I got to fly along many times. Never dared to get my own pilot's license, but I love everything in aviation and airplanes. You are a fine and fascinating pilot, with that little "extra". You always fly so calmly and safely and your radio traffic is out of this world. Exciting to come along on this journey, of discovery with your new plane. Greetings and love from Sweden.😍🧡💛💚👍

Very cool video guys, very professional and terrific editing.
Question, have you guys ever witnessed something in the sky while flying that you could not explain?

I use the Mountain High O2D2, it's an on demand system that senses when you inhale and gives you oxygen only then. It doesn't just flow oxygen all of the time. It doubles to triples how long your oxygen lasts. With a built-in system it's tough to find places to refill, and it's expensive so you've got to make it last.

Well, I learned something which is very easy because I am ignorant. You can request flight following from tower. I thought you had to request it from either center or departure/approach control very cool.

You would have to know a lot before you could fly an aircraft like this one, but I really enjoyed this flight, well done to the young girl who was flying the aircraft along with the trainee.

We’ll before every landing, even if you are solo, verbalize the go around procedure, saying every detail out loud. Then, you’ll always be ready!

I hope the Seneca has improved its safety record. In the ‘70s, this plane had a very bad reputation. I was a line boy at Merrill Field in Anchorage. The Seneca earned its rep.

Remember ya'll the most important part of this whole plane and flight is the AC vents above Kay's head lmao. She will not sweat so bad if at all now lol. But seriously, great last training flight and flight instructor and can't wait for the brand new videos in the brand new plane :). Also like others have said, the new camera placements are awesome as well. Great video and can't wait for the next one. Cheers :).

OK. You up and decide to fly to and land somewhere, like CLL. Presuming ATC clearance and all the rest, how and when do you settle up with the authorities for the landing fees and such? I presume you use a credit card for fuel. Thanks!
