I had the 2006 Honda forza 250 in Japan with keyless fob. That thing started up first time every time the performance, acceleration and engine never failed me. Honda scooters are probably the most futuristic and reliable in the world. Love them.
Honda scooters are pretty good. The Forza 250 was more futuristic than the 300. The 300 isn't keyless but Suzuki is now releasing bikes with keyless designs in 2017.
Been watching tons of videos of the Forza 300 while I wait for the dealer to get mine in. I think yours is my favourite just because of the nice views, good viewing angles while you're riding, and the awesome soundtrack! :)
+bebe cheeses Thank you! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Nowadays I don't add riding videos to the walk arounds anymore. I try to keep 'em as short as possible, because of the attention span of most people (including mine). ;) You proof different. I hope you will get your Forza 300 soon, ride safe!
+Amersfoort81 Hahah! Yes, well, my attention span is also very short. I'm thinking it's the music and a chance to see what it's like in a different corner of the world that makes me want to keep watching. :)
+bebe cheeses That is probably it. Although the roads and scenery over here are boring. Road quality is really good, scenery is boring. Everything is flat. That's why the Dutch travel the world, haha.
+Amersfoort81 Having ridden a 50cc for a while here in British Columbia, where it's basically hills next to mountains, flat sounds nice. But this is one reason I'm looking forward to my Forza! Lots of nice winding roads through the forest around here... :) But yes, I'm jealous of the quality of those roads (and infrastructure in general from the looks of it)!
+Amersfoort81 I was also wondering something. Lane splitting is illegal here. Is it legal to do it there? I see quite a few videos from European countries where it seems to be accepted practice. Do that often enough here and you're likely to get yelled and honked at... Frustrating though as it really defeats a lot of the advantage of choosing to go cageless.
Roachji, couldn't find your question in the comments but did get it in my mailbox. I'm 5'10, and I barely fit. Knees have about maybe an inch left before they get stuck. If you are 6'1 then just visit a local Honda dealership and try and sit on the Forza 300 to see if it fits right.
Really good video thank you. Bought a 2015 model this week and absolutely loving it which quite surprised me as I've been a biker for years. Also great first music track put it in my 'Favourites' :-)
Thank you! :) I did ride one last week in Tenerife. Perhaps I will upload a video of it on this channel. But it was an older rental one with 88.000 km on it.
Nice riding vid. I have already ordered mine and first payment comes out end of the month. I have yet to ride on it, but I have sat on it and it felt good compared to 4 other maxi scooters I sat on. I'm 6'1" with boots on and the bike still feels like a comfortable fit. It did not feel like my knees were going to hit the handlebars, they are up pretty high so no worries there.
+Amersfoort81 Does it handle well with a passenger? Together my wife and I will weigh around 350 lbs. Forza is rated to carry up to 390 lbs so not sure if it will work well for long trips. She does not wish to get her own bike.
7:18 great circle. Its a good scooter. Good video. You show everything importend How fast, acceleration, design, storage... I want to buy one. I think its better, than a motocycle in Berlin. Switching 6 gears in a city is annoying. But scootes are hated in Germany.
Thanks, glad you also like the video :) In every major city, a motorscooter is so much easier to ride. Sure, a motorcycle is way cooler, but this is much more easy. No more shifting gears, a lot of storage space, room enough for a passenger, less wet from rain, low fuel consumption... motorscooters are hated in The Netherlands as well. Don't care what others think, motorscooters are great for commuting.
Yep round about country! We don't have four way stops over here, because most drivers are selfish and won't stop for others at such smaller intersections. That's when round abouts are much better. I've seen only a couple in the USA, I was really amazed to see one over there. :)
Not an American my Dutch friend, rather a Canadian and we have a few here but nowhere near that amount. Peace to you. Holland is the ideal country for my PCX 150 :).
honour123 I'm sorry. :) Will visit Canada one day. The PCX150.. it's perfect for every road except the highway. Although you can cruise at 65mph or so. Or 100-105kmh. Canada uses the metric system nowadays, right?
Well, I haven't tested both with GPS, the SYM might not be faster... the engine in the SYM Joymax 300i starts to vibrate above 120kmh, the Honda feels smooth till top speed. But the SYM is a nice motorscooter, as is the Forza 300.
Amersfoort81 Thanks for the info. I've been riding maxi scoots for over 12 years now my current one (aprilia atlantic sprint 500) needs replacing at some point & the Sym is in the running. I'm also considering the KTM duke 390 quite a different bike but it's the lack of weight which is making it attractive the only trouble is it has no weather protection at all. Also I tried commuting on my old SRAD 600, sports bikes are definitely not good for commuting.
I think you'll have much more fun on the Duke 390, but it lacks, like you said, weather protection. Next to that you'll need a top case, which doesn't make the bike more attractive. Maxi scooters have a lot of storage space and you'll miss that when you change to a 'real' motorcycle. For commuting maxi scooters are great due to weather protection, the CVT and storage space. Deciding is tough... or just buy both! :)
Amersfoort81 Haha! That'd be nice wouldn't it? Best of both worlds. The reason I'm so interested in the Sym is a friend of mine owns/runs a sym dealership. I also have an old Suzuki RG125UN wolf as a little project which is fully derestricted so around 32bhp & only 115kgs.
@ 5:19 . . . So you can use the outside bordered area for passing other vehicles? I know in Cali we'd get nailed for that. What's also scary is people riding bicycles in the same lane going in the opposite direction.
+slimdudeDJC Yes, I can overtake the car by using the entire road, as long as I overtake him on the left side. This is a bicycle suggestion lane, but I always check if there is oncoming traffic. In The Netherlands we are used to have bicycles on the road. I use a bicycle myself almost every day. I would not overtake this car if I was in a car myself, but on something with two wheels it's no problem.
Well it's not to use to much in highways but it's because I live in a island(madeira Portugal ) and we have a lot of hills so I need a good strong engine but I don't know wich brand it's best Yamaha or Honda what do you know about Yamaha I have a pcx Honda and it's amazing the quality. Thanks for your time my friend
Yamaha and Honda are both premium brands. Both are the best you can get on the market (this is the general opinion). If you have a lot of hills, best is to buy something with more torque. The bigger the cylinder, the higher the torque (most of the times). The X-Max has about 21nm, the Forza 300 has 26nm. Not much of a difference. Really try both motorscooters at your local dealer to see if it's enough to conquer the hills. ;)
I beg to differ about the best you can get. If you need power and quality get a Suzuki 400 and if the best is only good enough then a Suzuki 650 Executive is the best there is. Do some of your research on burgmanriders.com. Owners on this site have owned the rest and now have the best.
I don't know the 2014 X-Max 250. I only know the first model (2007?). It all depends on where you live and if you like to use highways. Maybe X-Max 400 is a better option? The Honda is 279cc, just a little more than the X-Max, but not that much. I think you need to make a test ride on both of them to make your decision.
Beautiful bike. I've been looking at getting one here in the states. My concerns are that it doesn't look like much space under the seat (does it hold a full face helmet), it's a SOHC not DOHC, and it only comes in red here in the states. As a side note...holy crap, you guys have a LOT of roundabouts over there.
A full face helmet might fit. My system helmet (the front can flip up, so you won't have to take your helmet off every time) does not fit, but I think full face might. Too bad it only comes in red, maybe they will add extra colors this year or maybe next year? Roundabouts.. yes, they pop up everywhere. In the USA I rarely see them (I spotted one or two once in Santa Maria, CA). The Dutch are unable to use 4 way stops. Most of us always want the right of way, even if you don't have it. They would never stop or wait for their turn. With roundabouts, that problem is solved. Every time I get back from the states, I know I'm back in The Netherlands, because of all the crappy and aggressive drivers.
I think it is made in Thailand, but not 100% sure. I filmed this with an older camera with no external mic. Nowadays when shooting riding videos I don't use music, but I use an external mic and try to catch as less as possible wind noise.
How much it costs depends on where you live. Check the local Honda website for the right price. About the top speed; I've seen 143km/h (89mph), but most of the time you won't get past 135km/h (84mph).
I wish to buy this one but yamaha xmax it's much cheaper what do you think about your bike I love honda I have one Pcx already but I don't know. What do you think
Enough for the highways and interstates and such. But in Europe where people can drive 130km/h (81mph) on some roads in some countries, you are able to keep up, but no more than that. If you need to travel a lot at high speeds, I'd recommend at least a 400cc scooter.
I've ridden one for a while, quite an agile scoot. But it's not comfortable, i guess bcz i'm too tall for it (190cm). so i got myself maxsym 400i abs instead.

Ah sorry I must of deleted it by mistake. Thanks for your reply I guess I will try to find a Honda dealer that will let me test drive one.

No problem. That's the best you can do. Hope it'll fit right.
Love the purr of that engine. Smooth as silk.

Hoe dan ook, lijkt een prima motorscooter, maar dat was te verwachten van Honda.
Great video!
I have the Canadian honda forza 300 2014 and it is a great machine.
Great video. showing what to expect from this scoot. Respect.
Ride safe, mate.
Thanks! You ride safe too! :)

nice ride, lovely scooter
Thanks, glad you liked the video (or at least the scooter, haha).
very nice video ;) I love Honda Forza 300, it's lovely and fast scooter.
Thanks for enjoying the video. Yep, it's fast enough for commuting and other things.
nice looking bike

Canada has been metric since the 1970s. Yep.. the PCX cruises "very" well at 100kmph. Enjoy your biking!
honour123
They made a good choice in the 70's. ;) Thanks, you enjoy yours too!
So it's smaller in size & weight compared to the Sym joymax 300i is actually 1cc larger yet slower? Interesting thanks for the upload.

+Erdal “Eric” Gochmen Thanks! Nice town.. hmm I more like something else than flat roads. ;)
+Amersfoort81 is it hard to drive it ? imean is it heavy cz iwas having amidell size scooter
+ali alshoely No, it's quite easy. Also the weight is no problem when it's rolling. It all just depends on what you were used to ride before.
Mooie scooter
Zeker niet verkeerd!
nice like. how much does it cost?
Sorry for my late reply. Well.. check your local Honda dealer website. It has no global price ofcourse. :)
I got the same one it's super fast
What do You think between this one and yamaha 250 xmax 2014? Wich brand you would choose and why? Xmax it's much cheaper so I just want opinions guys

Go for it! :)
Honda my dream
what is the top speed on expressway?
How much it costs depends on where you live. Check the local Honda website for the right price. About the top speed; I've seen 143km/h (89mph), but most of the time you won't get past 135km/h (84mph).

Your odometer always show about 4km. BUT HOW?
That's not the odometer, that's just showing the mileage. It's doing 4.something liters per 100 kilometers. The odometer is just below it.
Amersfoort81 Thank you.
