1995-1996 was my favorite year EVER for college hoops! The Big East was absolute fire that year! I remember watching all these Big Monday games. I grew up a 'Cuse fan, went to Temple, yet still always loved watching Kerry Kittles play. AI was simply on another level. Dude was just ridiculous! The '96 Georgetown-UConn game from Landover is another must watch! The fact that Syracuse was the BE team, not UConn, Georgetown or Villanova, to make the Title Game in '96 is still a great feather in their cap. John Wallace was an absolute monster... Georgetown got serious payback for this loss in the season finale! CBS hyped the hell of that game!
I remember both of these games in 1996. The crowds were brutal. The Philly/Nova fans were chanting “overrated”. When they got back to Landover, in the season finale, Georgetown put that beatdown to Nova and returned the favor with the overrated chants. They did have another great game in the Big East Tournament Semi-Finals. Great memories

jerome williams and othella harington were god awful. it is so hard to watch them miss layup after layup. Then watch jerome play out of control every time he touches the ball. i have never seen so many guys played so hard and still suck so bad at the same time.
