This video is the reason why after 11 years of paragliding I had the crazy idea to buy myself an Atos and started learning to fly it. I don’t regret it. Thanks for this wonderful emotional inspiration!
Happy landings Tony !
Thank you for the nice comment :) The camera (GoPro Hero 3+) is mounted on a magnetic holder ( www.camforpro.com/flugsau-magnet-halterung-pro/ ) with a stick ( www.camforpro.com/ishoxs-xtension-neo-l/ ) attached to one wing of the hangglider (on the trailing edge).
@@tonymarty4500 thanks for the reply Tony, hope you can make down to NZ one day ....you'd love it!, take care up there and keep posting vids, bloody awesome footage!
I often fly in this area, but it's not a usual route. Take off was Scalottas at 2222 m (Lenzerheide, Switzerland). There is a chairlift going to the top. On the way to Bernina I flew over the Albulapass and on the way back over the Julierpass. The distance was around 122 km and I flew almost 5 hours. If you're interested, you can have a look at the whole flight on x-contest with Google Earth: www.xcontest.org/2018/switzerland/de/fluge/details:atmarty/20.09.2018/11:43

Beautiful! Is this a well established route, or was this a new one? Can you give details? Length, Time, etc.

Geiles Video👍
Was für ein Gurtzeug ist das?
Salü Klaus, das Gurtzeug ist ein Seedwings XR6. Jetzt heisst die Firma Skypoint mit Sitz in Österreich. Gruss Tony
What is the temperature when you are flying?
Hi Andrew, it can be zero degrees. The higher you fly, the colder it gets.
Nice
