I've never tried hot smoked salmon, but after watching this it is definitely something that I need to try!

Hot smoked fish is a real delicacy in this part of the world and definitely worth trying.
The problem with hot smoked fish is the very short shelf life, about three days, so I suggest a trip to the Baltics to experience it👌👍

      kosher recipe: Liverwurst
      Ingredients:
1 pound fresh calf liver, cubed
      3/4 lb veal stew meat
      1/4 pound beef fat, cubed
1 sweet white onion, about 1 cup, finely diced
1 teaspoon freshly fine ground white pepper
1 teaspoons salt, or to taste
      1 teaspoons paprika
      1 teaspoon sugar
      1/2 teaspoon marjoram
      1/2 teaspoon finely ground coriander
      1/4 teaspoon mace
      1/4 teaspoon allspice
      1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
You will need a piece of unbleached muslin about twelve inches long and eight inches wide. As an alternative, you can use large casings.
Put the of liver, veal and fat through the fine disk of the grinder separately and then mix. Add the onion, powdered milk, pepper, salt, paprika, sugar, marjoram, coriander, mace, allspice, and cardamom over the ground meat and mix thoroughly. Put the mixture through the fine blade of the grinder twice, chilling the mixture in the freezer for half and hour between grindings. Also keep your grinder in the freezer along with your second bowl.
Place the mixture in the middle of the cloth (if you are using a casing, tie one end shut and simply pack it in with a spoon) and then bring the sides together and crimp over to make a seam. Using butcher twine bind the sausage like a roast, with a string every inch or two and then tie off the ends.
In a large kettle, bring enough water to a boil to cover the liverwurst by two or three inches. Put the sausage in the boiling water and place a weight on it to keep it submerged. When the water returns to a boil, reduce heat so that the water barely simmers. Cook for 3 hours. Drain out the hot water and replace it with an equal quantity of ice water. When the liverwurst has cooled, refrigerate it overnight allowing it to set. Remove the casing and wrap in plastic, it should keep for a week. Spread on sourdough bread with some pickled herring and red onions.

It's a nice city and definitely worth a visit, but suffers from what a lot of cities nearly completely destroyed in WW2 suffers from. Post war construction looks good from a distance, but up close looks like a Disney set. It's too new and nice to be old. No degree of weathering or pollution stains. Modern construction of old techniques just don't look the same. Just bright and new. Obviously it is no fault of their own, but it kind of takes away from the appeal for me- as someone who loves history and historic buildings. Krakow on the other hand, I absolutely love...

Look how he struggled with English to keep you a company and show his gratitude for you kindness (and leech you of a sympathy and a breakfast at the same time). During WW2 Gdynia renamed Gotenhafen was major Kriegsmarine base and place where uboots trained before going in the ocean trips. There is torpedo training installation from this time, just off the coast.

Hi Leon... I do not consider myself rude, which is what you are insinuating... As a matter of fact I consider myself polite and respectful...
I don't think country has anything to do with it... I am sure there are many Polish people in my country that are polite and some that are not so polite.
I would rather treat people as I indivuals rather than label them by country they come from.
If the video offended you, then believe me that was not my intention.
I am sure, as an intelligent indivudual, you clearly understand that you see a small part of what is actually recorded and In edit you loose some of the context, otherwise videos could go on and on and on.

Gdynia was not destroyed during the second world war, the seaport was damaged, but quickly rebuilt to become an important German naval base. The city was renamed to Gotenhaven until 1945. Thousands of Poles (mainly intelligentsia) were arrested and executed in Piasnica forest Massacre in 1939, the largest site of killings of Polish civilians close to Gdynia. It was an organized action to exterminate Polish population called "Intelligenzaktion Pommern" with a list of people being prepared even before the invasion which included Poles with middle school or higher education, priests, teachers, doctors, dentists, veterinarians, veteran military officials, bureaucrats, members of Polish administration, police, medium and large businessmen and merchants, medium and large landowners, writers, journalists and newsletter editors.
