Thanks for all you do! For people that don't ocean fish a lot, this is great information. See you on the beaches next July!

Thank you for using a non-annoying voice and no
    90's rave music.

Thank you! There's so much shady information out there, I've been searching for hours to find what I needed for Alaska, NOT SoCal! I mean, Alaska is the Halibut capital anyways! This is the right info for Alaska, everyone...no need to look any further.

Thanks for the information! We’ve fished a few times on Charters out of Valdez but this was extremely useful information.

Your Rigs slide at 17:07 shows 10 lb leader in two places. Think you meant 100 lb

Thank you for the video! It’s a fishery that could have been realized much earlier, however the main beach access points in Ninilchik and Deep Creek are closed for most of the late spring and early summer when they are running the beaches. It’s unfortunate for this fishery that the king salmon conservation zones close all fishing in the most accessible access areas... it’s really unnecessary and could even be argued that it doesn’t provide equal access to the fishery and should therefore be ruled unconstitutional.

It's really unnecessary if you are greedy and only care about the now and not the future and not the fishery. The populations of everything on the peninsula has been going to hell except the planet eaters because most people just care about take take take take and the hell with the wildlife and the environment it's just another commodity. The trees are dying in mass, the belugas are basically a memory, the king crab are gone from the bay, the snow geese are a memory, the razor clams are decimated, I haven't seen a brown bear track in my yard for two years now, etc etc.

What is the bait line you were referring to to keep your baud secure on the hook

It is a elastic thin line that you can easily wrap around bait. It is available at most tackle and outdoors stores.

I believe that’s only April through August that it’s closed. There’s also a couple weeks in the summer that it’s open to shore fishing.
