I agree I'm glad they are working out instead of planking all those years on the chairs... They also fixed the issue with the Freelancers ramp not touching the ground. Now we no longer have to jump onto them
@@Elkarus I just upped my Titan to the SEN. Loving it, it's sensors detect hand mineables, has second seat (and beds) plus one of the best views in the game. The science stuff is not in yet but the sensor camera turret can be controlled by the copilot.

I am playing on a system from 2011 with a mid range GPU from 2016. And I play at 3440x1440. I don't usually get above 40fps in space though. But you do not need the best computer to play at 1080p. What is your current computer? Mine is a 2600k Intel at 4.4ghz, 28gb ram, and 1060 6gb with game running on an SSD.

I'm not very knowledgeable about PC stuff anyways to be frank. I'm mostly a console gamer but I've been thinking about making the transition to PC for a long time. Now I've got a new job that I like and is earning me a good amount of money. Nows the time to save and get on that.
@@Montague667 for $800 you can get a decent prebuilt. It will get you in game at 1080p. You will want 16gb ram and SSD for sure. Best GPU within your budget is what you shop for.

Which will all go into rent and bills. No matter how I see it, it will still take a couple of months for me to get the set up. You completely missed an entire area of New Babbage where they sell the MobiGlas tech lol, along the corridor opposite the hologram woman before you got distracted by jogging NPCs. Also you can use your mouse wheel to scroll down during flight mode and effectively act as a speed limiter - very useful for landing in fast nippy ships!
That skybridge looks just like the ones found in old Earth Dubai. That night skyline looks like Dubai. That electric waterfall is reminiscent of the waterfall in the Dubai Mall. The entire city is an arctic Dubai. Well done CIG! Cobra if you think New Babbage is amazing, you should travel to Dubai, UAE to experience a real world New Babbage oasis in the middle of a hot desert hellscape. It's magical. Or Las Vegas.

My tongue felt like it was going to shrivel up. I was constantly drinking, constantly. That's why everything indoors is so breathtaking. I always have a good time, anyway. It's culturally different rather than uncultural. Like anywhere else, when you get outside the large city, you'll find the authentic culture. I can recall taking a hiking rest atop a hill far from the closest large city (not in the UAE) and watching an "old" Bedouin sheep herder lead his herd up the hill toward me, wave and continue off into the distance. The best cultural exchange ever. Authentic culture isn't alway found near the skyscrapers. It's a young nation, but like anywhere else on the planet, it has its archaeological and geographical points of interest. Microtech's climate is the polar opposite of the UAE. Wouldn't you suspect Dubai was the inspiration for New Babbage. The only way to encourage people to live there is to have universally spectacular indoor living spaces. I hope the devs continue to go above and beyond with the design of the unexplored areas of the city. As the saying goes, "enjoy it while it lasts." Who knows how this current world episode will affect the future of Star Citizen.
Save more my friend basic packet is like 40 odd pound however the ships they give you are pants you'll need to pay extra for decent ship so save about 70 -100 pound dude trust me :) have look at Vids best ships for price ect and decide for yourself
Titan game package is all that is needed. Run package deliveries and some easy fight missions and you will be at decent money soon enough to buy an ingame ship. 8scu is enough to run Slam as well but it is troublesome to sell at times.
You should also know that every ship except a few rare ones are available for in-game money purchase. So you only need that basic package and don't forget to include sq42 as you get it cheaper now.
Man, this has to be one of your best reaction, i was waiting for this one, the random NPC chatter was killing me, funny how the random animations just happened to fit the conversation, imagine this place full on firing on all cylinders when the Ai, and the new locations and missions are in. Another incredible addition to Star Citizen.

I grew up in the 70s/80s reading 2000a.d. amongst other SciFi things. I later got my fix on various console and PC games over the years.. I pledged to SC last week. I've been bumbling around, learning to fly, doing box missions, getting a fine (doh)! Cobra, you've said it previously in a vid - never, ever, did I think that I would participate in such an experience! I've just watched the sun set at home, then the same from New Babbage. Visually, there's nothing in it..Most of the last couple of hours my mouth has been wide open SC isn't perfect. But it gets the feels, and is making this ol' wannabee Star Citizen very very happy 👏
They need to add all the promenade songs on spotify ASAP, I like all of them! Cobra you missed the New Babbage plaza, I believe it is in front of the promenade entrance.

If you want smoother flight when approaching hangers etc, I personally found using "cycle mouse move mode" engaged really helpful. instead of your ship moving unless your cursor is dead-centre, enabling cycle mouse move mode on "on" makes your ship turn a certain distance (depending how much you move your mouse) and then stops, allowing for fine-tuning where you want your nose to aim. In normal flight, I turn it off, but when landing in tricky areas (especially in large ships) or if im going straight for a while, turning mouse lock on saves my ship from going too astray without having to adjust it all the time. It's in Keybindings -> advanced controls customization -> Flight Movement -> Cycle Mouse move mode. By default, this isn't bound to a key. I personally use the comma key. May the verse be with you! Hope to see ya one day out there!

If you hold f, and right click you can access the new UI, and it tells you the temp of the room your in, the temp of your body, and allows you to quick remove you helmet so that you can eat/drink. You also missed the shopping place in the the commons. It’s where the hologram lady is in the commons.
The devs say they're working on it but can't promise anything because it's not a priority and they're not sure it will work. They kind of have to see where VR, drivers, vulkan etc are at in due time.
