Why Film on a Bicycle
Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second.
Why doesn’t the footage look clear
Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.
Camera Equipment
Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo)
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb. Action cameras to date, have smaller light sensors and are not competitive at present for low light filming.

On Soi 6, the bar I particularly look out for is Red Point, right hand side going from 2nd Road. Just before Boofies sign. I say that as Red Point is still the old fashioned closed doors bar, whereas the rest of the bars are better signed and open styled bars

stopped in the las vegas beer garden when i was in town, no lie the a/c was working quite well in there...beer was reasonably priced as well...going to be interesting to see how full it may get when high season rolls around especially for the peak season

You know, I think the reason I love your channel so much is because I used to really love going to Karaoke with my dad every week years ago before he had some health issues, when you're going through tree town and other places where they're jamming out like the old days it kinda takes me back.

Have you seen The Corner Lodge hotel its 460 baht a night if you book 28 nights or more , a bit out of the way but they do four free shuttle services to Central Festival Mall daily , also free mountain bike hire and they've got a swimming pool , very clean looking modern hotel just a little bit out of the way either a 400m walk to bahtbus route or a 900m walk to Soi Pothole, they have motorcycle taxis outside for 30baht too , rate includes water/electric wifi cable tv bottled water maid service etc ,its 12880 baht for 28 nights thats less than £10 a day you couldn't hire a mountain bike in Scotland per day for that ps its got disc brakes too . I'm booked for 28 nights I'm gonna take my lights and a lock with me .
Talking of Tuk Tuk club, heard one of the managers got stabbed by an employee last night.
Yes I saw, but they said sorry, so sure it is all ok...I think paid 1,000 baht also 🤣🤣
