Loved this!!! I just got back from a short trip to Campbell Island and I fell I. Love with water and islands there! Got to see some grizzlies and orcas. Would love to do a photo tour someday!

No way, we’re you going out on the water to see whales too? Nate is such a nice guy! I loved my time hanging out with him and his partner. Yes, it would be great to meet some day! I enjoy visiting the north end of Vancouver island.
@@MattShannonPhoto I had just gotten back from Telegraph Cove in my boat as I work part time doing bear trips up Knight Inlet. Nate and Janine used to work there also. When I’m not working I love to go out the Broughton archipelago to photograph, especially on still misty mornings.
That sounds really nice. I would love to spend a solid month just out on the water each day taking photos. There is so much to see and explore up there.

Nice! FYI, the heron was actually a Great Blue Heron.
Really, huh, it's hard to tell sometimes. This heron looks smaller and more grey than the Great Blue Heron. Thank you for the correction!
Yeah, the Grey Heron looks similar but is not found in North America. It is a eurasian species, also found in Africa.@@MattShannonPhoto
You are totally right. I thought they were more common here but not at all. I need to hang out with more birders lol. I learn pretty fast when the mistakes are locked away on a published TH-cam video 😅. @@danbrown8979
