    Genius… I’ve been scratching my head trying to find a better more reliable solution for my RV. Thanks for taking the time to post:

    to stop the problem happening install a good fuel and water separator for each tank before the valve them cheap metal filters dont filter good enough and the 2nd problem is water we had 8 work truck 2 a yr seem to always have problems and after pissing with them for yrs we put water and fuel filter 4 to 6 micron wix filters and after my 13 or so more yrs there only one selectors froze up and one the motor on it burned up and they can be taken apart and cleaned easily take it apart and work the plungers up and dow to free them and there good as new. hope that helps someone to save some money

    Same here, got a diesel & having issues as well. My plan is having the rear tank feed the front tank. Or have the positive line feed the return on the front tank with a 2nd fuel pump.
    If it doesn’t work I too have the manual valve I can throw in & have the lines go into a box in the bed & every time I need to switch tanks I reach back there & turn both valves. What I’m thinking abt doing is having the positive line pull fuel from the back tank & the return is the front tank, then watch for the gauge to stop, then switch to the front. There’s multiple ways of doing this.
    I’m stuck on the rear tank rn & I only get 10 gallons.

    Hi Marco, thanks for the video. Wondering what is the absolute simplest way to wire these valves to one toggle switch. Basically, how do you reverse position on the valves? Cheers buddy

    what would help is to know what brand, model and year of the truck you did this on and maybe even what engine, gas, or diesel. the only thing you can tell from your video is that it's a dually of some kind so it's 3/4 ton or bigger.....

    So I have not messed with the wiring at all, so all I have to do is splice and split the wires for both the FV1 valves and run the fuel lines correctly will it work? Also will it work with the same tank selector switch inside the cab??

  • @dieseldave2383
    @dieseldave2383 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think you could skip the return line switch by just using fittings for the return line I don't think it needs to be switched.

    I'm curious how these valves have held up. I have thought about using them on 2 tank veggie oil conversions, but these aren't rated to be mounted before the pump. Or maybe it was after the pump 🤷🏻‍♂️ anyway, I hope it works for you.

    Hey Marco. So with the original 1terminal 6 port my left tank was not working and only my right. Then I set it up like this and now my right tank is not working and my left one is🤦🏾‍♂️ any idea why? When left tank is selected the valves have power. When right is selected there is no power which I thought was correct
