Many people can't handle listening to this and it is understandable. but what most don't realize is that their lives are almost identical to this piece. Lonely, hopeless and innately conflicting. And this doesn't have to be emotionally or materialistically. I genuinely hope they can be more open to the piece's universe, acknowledging it, embracing its reality rather than avoiding and calling it void and meaningless..because they, too, even though they might not know/believe it, are not that, but real..that's it..realness! Realness is beauty everlasting.
Es una sonata contemporánea, en el sentido estético. La composición es excelente. La indagación en texturas pianísticas es muy buena. Las sonoridades de cuartas y segundas es áspera y exasperante. Gracias por compartirla!
Schnittke was a genius...this sounds like a first-year composition student's work...i wonder why he even named it a sonata, regarding the hate for the ''classical'' structure this generation had...
The problem with such music is that it places itself culturally beyond the bounds of criticism. Anyone who (reasonably and understandably) finds it tedious, annoying, unpleasant, ill-conceived, anti-listener, etc. is dismissed as insufficiently educated or refined. It is a test of your endurance and ability to express elite opinions and little else. The late-modernist Emperor is indeed scantily dressed.
@@holponui Jajajajaja. por eso esta música es un fracaso porque la entienden quienes no entiende que es música. Esto lo puede hacer el gato en el teclado. Esto es el HAMPARTE en música.
@@arteculturayentretenimient6079 only people who deeply understand music language can appreciate this kind of music. You shouldn't think about the beauty of a piece but it's style, it's technique and it's innovation.

Great comment
Some of the best insight about contemporary music I've ever heard. It's not about what you think, it's about what you feel.

3:44 to 5:49 sounds like something in Lord of the Rings
c'è la citazione della cifra di Shostakovic
Schnittke has written magnificent music but not here.
Like looking at a painting and saying a seven year old could have done that.
Desperdicio de papel de musica

Pretentious, music-less twaddle. Complete waste of time.
That's your mum reaction when she forgot to abort you.
Très mal vieilli.
