What did you guys think of this week's Ahsoka?!
The emotion that I felt seeing Ezra and Sabine interacting again after so long...
It made me feel like the 8th grader that I was when I was watching the final season of Star Wars Rebels. It's been so long since we've seen Ezra, and seeing him back after such a long time... that was such an impactful moment. It made me feel like I was back in that time, when things for me were all that more simplistic.
There's been only a handful of times where I've cried during an episode or a movie, and this was one of those times. 5 and a half years since the ending of Star Wars Rebels. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to see these characters again, much less in live-action. This has been a very special show.
On that same subject, seeing Lars Mikkelsen absolutely nail the live-action adaptation of Thrawn, just as he did in Rebels, was so beautiful and so special to see. Seeing Thrawn out of all people being in need of magic was an interesting twist that I'm excited to learn more about.
Overall, in my opinion, I genuinely believe that Episode 6 is up there with Episode 5 for best episode of the series. I don't think I'm ready to put 6 over 5 just yet, but 6 is making a very strong case for that.
This episode felt like Rebels throughout and it was so special. I can't wait for the final 2 episodes to see how this story concludes. It's gonna be really awesome and really special, that's for sure.
The little guy jumping up and down is the first one she met ... I love how erza has made them each a rebels necklace... def in erza character to be with beings like this and looking out for them
Finally my Ezra!!!! I don’t think I’ve cried as much since Avengers Endgame when he came on screen and he and Sabine hugged!!! 🥲🥲😊😊

Thrawn's arrival scene reminded me of Anakin's scene in the clone wars cartoon when him and Ashoka was walking past his 501st legion , which later became his same platoon when he become Darth Vader aka "Vader's fist"😊
And anyone thinking he's going to mad at her ... doesn't know erza ... he'll just smile and be like guess we gotta stop him ... just like old times ... and they've got backup on the way ... thrawn was nervous when he heard a jedi riding a star whale approaches lol
This week was great and awesome seeing Ezra and Tharwn again in live action was Groundbreaking and Enormous truly wonderful I give this 10/10 and I love how we're going to get how Tharwn will know Ahsoka's backstory, her history and I love how Ezra and Sabine finally reunited after 10 years.
I got the impression that Sabine really, really isn't looking forward to telling Ezra the price she paid to find him... or the fact that she doesn't have a ride home.
Will she be giving him back his lightsaber too? I was wondering who would get it now.

I see him being disappointed. But I also see him picking the blade up again because he is a hero
I like the fact that Ezra looks like his father now and the animated adult image of him. Great detail in casting.

I'm pretty sure it's like an elephant graveyard, they don't go there until they're too old to keep going... so, maybe the big one?
After hearing of thrawn, it was good to see him onscreen, but it’s a dream come true to see him in live action and in the post-return of the Jedi like his legends version. Plus he outlived his legends self.
I wonder what was the bigger challenge for Lars Mikkleson, voicing Thrawn or his live debut. On the one hand, he only had his voice to rely on during Rebels, but now he has to project that same character through hours of makeup.
That is a very interesting thought however I would counter with in Rebels he was getting the grasp of the character and you can see as he gets more and more comfortable as those two seasons go on here he is basically sliding back into that old character suit much like Hayden and Ewan reprising their roles of Anakin and Obi Wan. And I will also point out a quote from the late great Peter Mayhew who specifically said that arriving on the set he is Peter and then the mask comes down and he's Chewie
It's hard to say. Some voice actors, once gelling into the role, act out their character, right in the studio. You just don't get to see that. But for some, it's just easier to do the motions with the voice, as it brings it all together.
The most unexpected aspect for me, was the rat dog creature. I didn't know I wanted one of those until now. 😄😄😄
I am really wondering what Baylin was alluding to, or who? Especially how he implied that maybe Thrawn and the NightSisters were themselves fleeing something.

Lars Mikkelsen is the absolute perfect casting for Thrawn! His delivery is so spot on it gives me more chills than back in the days when i first saw Darth Vader or the Emperor! What an Episode! Good time to be alive to watch Ahsoka, Mandalorian and Book of Bobba Fett! If Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau would have been in charge of the movies, thay would be so much better. Like these shows are so much better than the Disney movies are right now! And Ezra at the end! Come on :D

Unpopular opinion: I like the Thrawn from the books (Timothy Zahn's latest book trilogy in particular - Thrawn, Alliances and Treason) waay more than the version of Thrawn from Rebels and now Ahsoka.
I watched Rebels after I read the books and I was a bit disappointed with him, although everyone loves him in Rebels. He was more of an antihero in the books, compared to Rebels where he is a straight up evil villain. In the books he strategizes in such a way that loss of life is minimized, on either side. He will never kill unless there is no other way around it, unlike here. The version from the books makes me sympathize with him all the way.
I get it, too much moral ambiguity and complexity was perhaps unnecessary in an animated series made for a younger audience, but now the same version of evil Thrawn is in the Ahsoka series. I wish they would've went with the books version.
He doesn't feel as smart or composed as Heir To The Empire trilogy thrawn, which in my opinion is still the best version of the character.
She probably wasn't in a hurry because Ezra is more likely to know more about what's going on than she does. She's a fish out of water now.
