I've been saying for a while now that Holo ID is low-key the very best of Hololive all around. I don't know how they recruited these 9 girls, but I swear they couldn't have found a better mix of talents if they'd tried. The 9 of them each have something unique to bring to the table, and not only get along with one another like a big, crazy family, but get along with the EN and JP branches and even the Holostars just as well. Holo ID is seriously like, the glue that holds the rest of Hololive together. They're amazing. Like you, Korone will always be my kamioshi, but Holo ID (for me, Kaela in particular) will never be far behind.
@@rafiffernanda6609 Yeah, they are taking a while to introduce more ID members, but I'm sort of glad they're not rushing it -- the current 9 have such a perfect balance, it would almost be a shame to disrupt it. If they're going to introduce another 3, they need to be sure they choose their candidates very carefully! When you've got lightning in a bottle, after all, you don't want to unscrew that lid unless you're absolutely SURE you'll be gaining more than you lose out of it. ;)

It's my favourite branch and I don't even speak ID, just low level duolingo lol As the JP mems said, ID are all "very high spec", all of them are multilingual and extremely talented in different ways. They don't have JP privilege and EN speaker audience boost, just pure talent.
Since child, most of Indonesian is bilingual which is mother and nasional language. When they grew up, the rest of them can speak other language like English at elementary through high school and more language such as German, japan, Mandarin or other at high school. For the last term, not all of them just smol portion.
I got your point. But the ID branch is in fact, not the smallest branch anymore since Holo DEV_IS is its own branch and not incorporated to HoloJP. Right now they're smaller in terms of members count and subscribers count.
"Just as powerful" is being nice. Other than the idol side, they are all trilingual, impressively smart, trolling connoisseurs and basically built battledomes in minecraft every year for the whole of hololive to compete in. They are OP
Because the general style of the JP songs they sing in Holo usually just have them all singing the same melody in unison. This here is one of the few times where they do some actual proper harmonization, and I hope to see much more.
ID is criminally underappreciated. I appreciate that Cover still gives them lots of opportunities and resources even though they're a smaller branch because those girls all deserve it!
i dont think ID is Underrated tho. ID is a country based branch just like JP but the different is this kind of thing is very well known in japan so they got more attention, also the EN branch represent all country with english speaker which makes it huge because english is an international language and the most used language so basically they cover lot of country which make them have more attention. With a single country coverage i think the ID branch already have lot of support from indonesia and all the talent basically is multilingual so they also got lot of support from outside of indonesia
Most of the ID girls have the advantage of also speaking English, which allows them to access not just the domestic Indonesian market but the lucrative Western markets abroad. This has also done a lot to boost their status in the company overall.

I find it both hilarious and interesting that, out of this trio, Moona would be the most "normal" in term of character. Risu is such a wacky up-to-date memester, while Kobo is... Kobo. Doesn't make their performance any less gorgeous. In fact, I'd argue that adds to their point of charm.

ID is the main reason i fell into rabbit hole. they impressed me with so many skills they had which is very cool to me. Because of them i got motivated to learn many languages and get more individual skills. They're actual idol for me. I love them❤
Back in the day when i first watch Hololive, i didn't expect this kind of performances would exist. I thought they're all about cutesy and idolish song/performance, but no, they can also be such diva-like. Moona's high tide performance was the first to open my eyes to such things, and now this. I have to admit even though i don't watch ID regularly, they are really bring something different to the table and we are lucky to have them as a part of Hololive big family. Good job girls! 👍
I've been saying it for 4 years and I'll keep saying it. ID are built different, these ladies are cut from a different cloth and I'm consistently impressed by them. It's well-known and documented that Risu is my kamioshi, but I love them all. They're amazing.
i'll share a bit trivia, "Anganku Anganmu" is a song popularize by Raisa & Isyana Sarasvati, both are arguably best singer/vocals in ID (it's like saikai from Uru x LiSA if i am allowed to compare), three of them performing together is already awesome, now knowing they sing this great song is like adding MSG to a meal

This is actually for the 1st time they're allowed to cover ID's songs ,they used have an issue with sorta copyright thingy,glad they had for a good use
But unfortunately, HoloID is the least profitable branch even though the talents did their best by speaking 3 languages (ID, EN, JP) in their streams. So they rarely release original songs or covers and can only afford simple music videos. I hope they get some kind of sponsor or investor.
I don't think they're underrated, they just speak a language the rest of the world doesn't, so fewer look their way, but I never hear anyone rate them below the others, especially not when it comes to singing.

What I love is every year and Aniversery ID releases a group Indonesia song with all their members and every song is amazing. I wouldn't say their underrated anymore. All of them especially Risu and Ela have blown up in subs and growth the last year. Heck at this point i consider them virtually part of Holo EN or our cousins.

While I understand your point, "numbers" still important, it's still a business after all. If their "numbers" (as in profit and/or viewership) is low, they might get lesser supports from the parent company, and/or comes later than the others. Maybe in a form of 3D events, original songs, etc. So yeah, as viewers we may just enjoy it as it is, but helping them gets more recognition out there is very welcomed.
I freaking love Kobo, more and more she is revealing to be a showstopper. Whatever she goes, she shines. In Marine 3D concert, she stole the highlight. Something that also happened on her "I I I" song. Also, legs.

While those 3 are undoubtedly the powerhouses of ID when it comes to singing, I would say Reine is also really high up there. So all 3 generations have extremely good singers.
Everytime I think who is the best singer in Holo I always just naturally go to suisei, but then always get reminded of moona and risu when I stumble across their songs and always keep forgetting about kobo because of how much of a gremlin she is
lot of people willing to learn japan langauge, but not many people willing to learn Indonesian .. most people can enjoy ID when they do collab stream with EN or JP, but they shine the most when speak their mother language, wich most people can't really enjoy it ..

For me.. and my own opinion, these 3 was the BEST singer who have BEST voice from all hololive talent even Diva from other's branch, i was saying this not because i was so proud to our indonesian talent, or compare it to other's, or even because i'm indonesian.. people who have a taste of voice, good hearing skills must agree with this.. not even me, Suisei, Marine, Calli and other's talent approve it, these three have a really good voice that not every talent have.. especially when Risu and Moona debut in Holofest? I don't think they're underrated, they just speak a language the rest of the world doesn't, so fewer look their way, but I never hear anyone rate them below the others, especially not when it comes to singing.

What I love is every year and Aniversery ID releases a group Indonesia song with all their members and every song is amazing. I wouldn't say their underrated anymore. All of them especially Risu and Ela have blown up in subs and growth the last year. Heck at this point i consider them virtually part of Holo EN or our cousins.
Smaller generations but just packed with amazing charisma and talent.
ID deserves all the love.

While I understand your point, "numbers" still important, it's still a business after all.
If their "numbers" (as in profit and/or viewership) is low, they might get lesser supports from the parent company, and/or comes later than the others. Maybe in a form of 3D events, original songs, etc.
So yeah, as viewers we may just enjoy it as it is, but helping them gets more recognition out there is very welcomed.

I only have 1 oshi in hololive, and it was not from ID, but still... i love all of them! i always happy if i heard other's talent have something new, especially to our indonesian talent because i'm from indonesia, and as an indonesian? For me.. and my own opinion, these 3 was the BEST singer who have BEST voice from all hololive talent even Diva from other's branch, i was saying this not because i was so proud to our indonesian talent, or compare it to other's, or even because i'm indonesian.. people who have a taste of voice, good hearing skills must agree with this.. not even me, Suisei, Marine, Calli and other's talent approve it, these three have a really good voice that not every talent have.. especially when Risu and Moona debut in Holofest? maybe editing their stream and make a highlight, give it subtitle. and turned it into lets play video gonna works better as it will help with international audience, lot of works tho. they need to tap harder into the youtuber side of their content.
