My ancient reptile brain from when I was 7 or 8 watching this anime for the first time I keep hearing the original song in my head and humming along, but im also kinda sad because its taken me almost 20 years to realize this is pretty much a break up song/ a moving on from a past relationship and I NEVER realized it. Your singing made me feel like a kid again and hearing this entire song in its entirety in English like this is amazing!
God the feels this song gives me. Lol Like I love the original Japanese version but I listened to this song in English and I loved it so much. There was never a full English version I could find until now. And I must say you hit me in the heart. Just hearing the first notes of the song and I was already smiling so happily. This song has been a big part of my childhood and my life. Thank you for the fantastic cover and I hope you have an amazing day.

😂 no the nostalgia on this song is actually had yu yu replay for first time since I think I was a kid for us that first couple months of quarantine and luckily last year was a really transformative year for us, got engaged June 2020 so it’s more for the memory of what was going on in our lives while all the yuyu jams were playing on 😂 great cover!
Great job keeping the original flow after translation. Other cover artists always muck it up by tossing words in and forcing them to fit rather than finding better ones. It's been great listening to your work!

Yes I did! Most of the first part of the cover is the funi dub version but some of it wasn’t close enough to the original for me so I made some changes :)
I could always feel the connection to the lyrics even in Japanese...this confirmed it for me. Ive felt this way about someone for so many years now. Thank for doing this wonderful rendition.

Love your voice! Do you think you can do an English cover of AOT'S "No Matter Where You Are"? it's an song that Mikasa's original VA sings and I think you could really pull of an English cover!
Do you have any interest in doing “The Homework Never Ends” like this one as well? It’s just so weird to me that there are so many different and unique takes and variations of “Smile Bomb” that all sound amazing in their own right and slap so hard and yet the OG ending them of Yu Yu Hakusho has never had a full English adaptation of its lyrics apart from the brief version that was done as part of the Funimation English Dub. You did such a wonderful job with Sayonara Bye Bye that I’d totally be down for hearing your take on the Ending that preceded this one. To be honest, I would just love to hear a full English adaptation of Yu Yu Hakusho’s first ending theme period.

Next to "Smile Bomb", "Sayanora Bye Bye" is best song IMHO for such a classic anime YYH 👏🫶
I know Smile Bomb is more iconic but this one has a special place in my heart haha
