I've flown the dreamliner in Business Class on a long flight and it was amazing. Super private pods, quiet and the blue lighting was cool. If you're a bigger/wider person, I'm not sure the pod would be as comfortable however.
Great review! I'll be taking my first 787 flight in May and looking forward to it. A few questions- I had heard there was an area in the back of economy that had free snacks and drinks. I know it was a red eye but just curious if you saw that feature in the cabin. Also you showed the drink selection on the screen. If you want to order a drink anytime, can you just click the link and will the flight attendant come and bring directly to your seat?
Thank you and I hope your flight is a good one. Sometimes, not always, flight attendants will be in the back area and you can approach them for an extra bag of pretzels or a drink refill. I don't think you can order directly from the screen, it just shows you the options of what is available. I good excuse to get up and stretch those legs or just hit the call button when ready. Love the 787.
Hi there, thanks for the video ... did you sit on 14 or 15th row? I am asking due to I will have a 14h flight do Tokyo and AA set me on 15th row and I do not know if there is more space for my legs as I saw in Air Canada 787-900. Air Canada 15th row is the first row after premium economy (3 row only with bigger leather seat) and I stretch your legs easily.
I believe I was in 14A on this flight. The seat map shows a nice gap between the 14th and 15th but I cant remember if that is a bulkhead or just a divider. 14h flight, wow! I understand why you want a good seat.
@@suitesandlobbies yeah, I saw on seat guru website this gap but in AA's app this gap is not there. I saw the video again and there is no space or gap behind you (row 15) :( My flight is 15C so welcome to default economy seat hehehe
Anyone else have a hard time sleeping on the plane? Have you tried the Boeing 787 and did you notice a difference?
I had AA 787-800 and 900 both lay outs really sucks with the 31' pitch.

Jealous! One day I hope to sit up front. Would make a great video. I have heard from others it is quite narrow. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Sweet. Flying DFW to Honolulu on this same cabin... tbd
Safe travels!

Awesome viewing thanks for sharing ❤
For main cabin extra, they are supposed to give you complimentary beer, wine, spirits. Did you take advantage of any of this ?
Not on this flight, I usually get a glass of red wine if being served a meal, otherwise its water, apple juice, or gingerale for me :)
I can't imagine why you would add an unnecessary stopover on a red-eye flight like this.
Ooooo, just like a cramped, crowded B-737! Someone gets to sit in a middle seat! How "nice!"
