That sticky tape under the board seems a bit rubbish. Sorry about that. I could not find the tape I used to use so I bought something different. It's genuine 3M and I was promised it was the strongest thin tape that can stick reliably to low energy surfaces. Before this though I temporarily used a 3M tape that was really horrible and just would never stick well to low energy surfaces. Maybe this is from that batch.
No problem bud. I've had the same when trying to get Amtech flux here in the UK. The seller will screem it's the genuine stuff but as soon as you get it you can tell right away it's a fake. Thankfully you can get genuine ChipQuik and MG Chemicals 8341 flux from Amazon now so I've switched over to that.
Hi. I got xsattion modded pal ps1. I use rgb scart to get colour in the ntsc games on my 14" trinitron. One thing that bothers me a bit is rgb scart is a bit too good. With games that heavily rely on dithering it isn't desirable to have perfect picture. So I thought about downgrading to composite but this puts out of the question ntsc roms due to bw picture. would dfo mod allow me to use ntsc roms over composite on crt tv?

What about NTSJ oscillator? I cannot find much about this.

No. the DFO only correct's the GPU clock (speed) and not the Color Subcarrier in the Composite Video.
