Have done several of these over the years for customers. It's a big thing on the 1.0-1.4 xboxes. (trace rot). Good way to explain the fault to the non techie's out there. Well done. Not a criticism, but surely it would have been quicker, easier and more cost efficient to run a couple of 'bodge' wires to the trace where it wasn't broken, to bridge where it had become damaged.Tidy up with a bit of solder mask. Job done. Good job though, thanks.
Nice tidy repair there, very professional! I've got 1.4 and 1.6 black units that I've softmodded and removed the clock caps from both even though I've read the 1.6 isn't affected but I did it anyway. I'm going to drop SSDs in the them both in the new year with the adapter you recommended in your other video so I'll check the tracks on them whilst I've got them opened up. Quite enjoyed that video, nice and calming with a bottle of beer 😁

Thanks, To be fair it would of been an easier fix to find if the trace had completely eroded away. Oh well, it's working great now.
