I wonder what the character and tactics of the legions would have been had the primarchs not been scattered but instead raised together by the emporer. They would have been FAR more standardized I imagin.
Alpha legion
1000 chapters, 1000 Astartes per chapter. I make it to be at least a million in the galaxy. So one Astartes per planet, apparently.
During the heresy the blood angles alone has 250,000 space Marines that's one of 18 legions of course half the legions went traitor and then the drop site massacre dropped it even more but with the primaris Marines it could be more than 1 million now but your probably spot on give or take

@@hunterrogers4116 you are talking about the Ultramarines, they were by far the most numerous. Other legions were not anywhere close to those numbers and certainly not the Blood Angels
@@frankthetank8050 it was a conversation between horus and sanguinis when horus seen sangunius kill a Marines for the red thirst or something and horus mentions there's 250,000 blood angels

It tells that even the primarch's aren't 100% save from being corrupted and fooled into betrayal.. Nothing noble regarding Horus. He was just charismatic and was very close to his brothers, his reasoning for betrayal wasn't smart or in any way reasonable. Heretic. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Since GW in its past being a such a heavy hitter as to protecting precious I.P, one would think there might be a few lawsuits as to the contemporary rock n' rolla band known as: "LORD HURON"...And its lyrical content spreadover $everal albums?....$eems VERY strange....Hmmm?
-Once things become a tad more transparent & data points shared, SO MANY will realize the WH40K universe isnt so much fictitious fun, but FACT using fiction as its primary vehicle...
I do still think 40k has the most interesting sci-fi and fantasy world lore ever created, but for them to just take names from EVERYWHERE and then sue people for having the same names is just soooo paradox that it becomes sadly funny. It's kinda hilarious how they act, as if not ALL FCKING NAMES in 40k are stolen or "inspired" by other fiction.. Half of the Blood Angel names are straight connected to "Hell and it's demons" from the bible... Even their planet called "BAAL" is not their idea. Their OP mofo "Mephisto" is another one.. And this can be done with ALL chapters and legions.. Basically all the names are from either the Bible or from very old tolkien works and so on..
