  • Every once in a while you feel like you hit the jackpot, I say that because I recently had gone to my local flea market and I feel I got a great bargain. I hope you enjoy the video of this bargain hunt at the flea market!

I bought my first Griptillian at a thrift store for $35. Had a lot of fun immediately getting into aftermarket mods. A week later bought a Leatherman wave for $40 (mint condition). Just a couple of days ago i bought my 2nd used Leatherman wave for $35 (kinda beat up, mod project). All from the same thrift mall from a couple stalls i keep an eye on. I have fun bringing them home, cleaning them up, sharpening, polishing, and then carrying around items that are in their 2nd life.
i also always dig through containers of multitools because although most of them are cheap ones, i once found an original SuperTool in a bin of crappy multitools at a fleamarket. Most people don't know the difference between the good ones and cheap ones.
Loving that feeling started when my grandfather would give me some of his old pocket knives, and then especially when i got his main EDC after he died.
He would have looked at me and just grunted if i had ever asked him about his "EDC", but he did have a long lived set of edc gear he carried for years including his knife, zippo, hankerchief and a couple other things. I love carrying his stuff plus other things i can give a second life.
