  • This video explores the ideas presented in Martin Heidegger's book "Being and Time," including the concept of Being or "Dasein," "Anxiety," "Being-in-the-World," "Being-Towards-Death," and "Temporality." It is important to note that the focus is exclusively on the ideas, not the author. This approach aims to decanonize the author and detach them from their work as part of my project to "ruthlessly criticize everything existing" using philosophical ideas while refraining from canonizing the theorist.

Very easy to follow presentation. Heideggers thinking is extremely clear and easy to understand as it deals with reality

Interesting way to analyze the core of one's own existence.

The core of all being is the primal animal nature. I theorize that conscious though of ones existence only came into being when the established civilization allowed for one to overcome the detrimental conditions of existence.

So you haven't read Heidegger, and just decide to drop here to say something banal, and utterly unrelated to the video.

The explanations were strangled by the strings of Handel or something.

Unlistenable with the ‘background’ music. Is it possible to get hold of a text?

Perhaps the background music is meant to disguise the fact that what the narrator is saying is totally unintelligible.

@@MyOneFiftiethOfADollarI really didn’t have a hard time getting the message, did you?
People see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear; and most words are a reflection of the world they exist in within themselves.
You can’t force a change in presentation of someone’s ego, but you can learn who and what they are.
