Can This SBE 4.8 Handle 40lbs Of Boost?! VSR S480 + 5 Bar MAP Sensor Install

On this boring video, I take the TBSS intake off to install a new map sensor to handle & read more boost. I also low key throw a new turbo on the car. Same 80mm from VS Racing, only difference is it’s got a bigger exhaust housing & turbine wheel. Hoping this will give me a little more steam up top!

Did that the hard way homie. I woulda pulled throttle body off stuffed a shop vac in there and drilled/tapped. But it’s done ready to rip. Ready to see 40 psi

I tried that but snapped torx bit into the IAC bolt. Need to move IAC sensor in order to get to last throttle body bolt.

You can add more resolution in lower area. Don't need so mutch in boost! Watch devins video on it

@@BmoreFox Just got the same dual wastegates, 4 inch intercooler and got the turbo lost in shipping. Now that Im going to buy again the same g2.5 7875 VS, I'm thinking why not going 80mm with 87 turbine 1.1 divided T4 on a stock 5.3 ... or why not your 80mm with 96mm turbine T4 I guess... So your feedback is useful :) Im not sure if the 87 turbine, your 96 turbine or twin 66s now that Ive two new piston wastegates (Im re doing all my crappy hot side)

So I had the g2.5 7875 first. Then sold that for the t4 vs80 with 1.1 AR 87mm turbine then I just sold that last month for the new t4 80mm with 96mm turbine 1.25 AR. So far this seems to be way better & breath more. I was having a lot of back pressure before causing the air to open my wastegates & cause boost spikes. So far I haven’t seen that happen since the new turbo.
