2004 nissan sentra 1.8s, could not start easily

i have a 2004 nissan sentra 1.8s, it has a big problem, it can not be start easily, it may take me 7 or 8 times or more to try to start it. i try to replace the spark plug, Thermostat and MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR METER (MAF) , but not work, it is still hard to start the car. Another problem is if i drive for a while and suddenly brakes the car, theThermometer on dashboard will go to high, it should had stayed in middle, i always fear about it and do not dare to drive on highway now. i dont know if there is anyone could help me

I replaced my crank shaft positioning sensor and it fixed this problem and the other problems that came along with it being faulty

Probáblemente el sensor de posición de cigûeñal esté dañado, si sigues dándole marcha de esa manera, vas a joder el motor de arranque, al menos dale tiempo a que enfríe sus devanados.

Yo intentara primero poner un limpiador en el tanque de la gasolina ( liquido) y cmabiar las bujias y checar el alternador, antes d ir al mecanico. Suerte👍🏻

Am I the only one who thinks these cars run really rich at startup? Mine fires up like a CHAMP in -8F but when the engine is starting warm, it often needs 2-3 (or one really long one) cranks to start. This sounds classic to a rich A/F. Just my car maybe?

Cam shaft sensor or the fuel pump or the timing its one of those.

I have same exact year car had to replace a head gasket at 60 000 miles and a new radiator now the car again has same problem at 114 000 thousand Ned this car always taken care of by a good mechanic do your self a favor these cars are through away pices of shit allways a problem child ongoing money pit install a brick on the gas pedal let it drive wright off the cliff while you watch

+Alim Muhaimin as i replyed before, my problem has already been solved, i spend 1000 to change the head gasket, and the coolant will not leak to engine anymore. it is already 1 year now, no problem, but i not dare to drive it on the highway, after all it is an old car. besides, a new problem occurs, after i start the car for a while, the car has noise like 'chou chou' , i see many old cars on the road have same noise, the noise is obvious when i drive the car and push the gas pedal

Just happened to my accord 30 minutes ago . Your valves may need to be replaced or even a piston rod. My accord died on the middle of the road and it would not start either. Start off by checking the compression of your cylinders in the engine

there is one more thing that puzzle me, the coolant always empty, even i full it, it will soon run out, but there is no leak(i park the car at a dry place for a long time, and there is nothing on the ground), weird!!!

Jeffrey Lee Hi Jeffrey: Remove all your spark plugs and see if one of them is very( clean ). If it is you have a leaking head gasket. From your video the engine doesn't crank over smoothly. Then I would take a compression test and see what you have. If you don't have a compression tester I think some auto parts stores rent them. Keep me posted.

+john sadler sorry for reply so late, the problem solved by change the head gasket, they say the coolant leak to the engine, that cost me 1000, expensive, but the car work well until now

I got the same problem. Tengo el mismo problema. La bomba de gasolina tiene presión correcta. Si tengo chispa en bujías. Si tengo pulso en inyectores. Los sensores de Levas y Cigüeñal los acabo de poner nuevos. Pareciera que no quiere recibir oxigeno, al momento de acelerar o querer inyectar, se detiene. No he podido arrancarlo. Necesito ayuda!!
