One of the best things about colorists is that even though we may not like the same coloring subjects, or the same coloring supplies, I don’t think I have ever seen anyone get mad at each other over. Coloring is a very open door for people, whether they are just starting out or advanced. I got back into coloring as an adult to help cope with health issues/ chronic pain issues and it has been wonderful. The community is wonderful.

Some people collect really expensive things, or useless things that just gather dust. Coloured pencils are an excellent choice of collectibles because they are both useful and beautiful and on the whole, they don't cost the earth.
Thank you for the video. It's accompanied me in a colouring session on Saturday and finished off on Sunday. I love to see what people have and what they think of them. Pencils are my first and best love in the supplies market. But I have very little space to store them so I have to reign in my desires to try them all.

I’m enjoying seeing your collection of pencils. My collection is not so vast, but I’ve added a few to my Amazon wishlist. A note on the Ergosoft… I think they’re named for how they feel in your hand rather than the core. Ergo as in ergonomic, and soft for how they feel to the touch. To me they almost feel padded with silicone or something of the sort to feel softer in your hand. I could be wrong, but that’s what I thought of when I first used them.
That makes total sense, they do feel very velty. And with the triangular barrel shape that definitely makes sense. Thanks so much for your support and watching.
It makes me wonder why someone would give you negative comments. You do nothing but bring us joy. I, for one, love your art supplies. I've learned about some new products I didn't know about until you shared them. Please don't let others get to you. I need to take my own advice, huh? 😄

My pencil collection brings me huge amounts of happiness. My friends, husband, and family laugh at me but then I remind them of the expensive harley that sits in the garage, the expensive purses they just have to carry and the expensive wine they must drink. At least I use my pencils every day and work for my own hobby supplies. Haters are going to hate. We love you, and your videos are amazing!

Hi! I also have a huge pencil collection. I don’t use them all but I still love having them. I decanted my Holbein into a large zipped pencil case to encourage me to use them more as they are so difficult to store and use when in the box even though they obviously look gorgeous in the box, it’s just too long. You enjoy your supplies. I loved seeing them so thank you for sharing. ❤
What a great idea to put a tag on each zipper draw!!! I’m going to copy this. Mind you I have only two pencil cases. Maybe I’ll add more but I don’t mind keeping my pencils in tins or food grade plastic containers!!!😊

I have the Faber-Castell Black Edition as a 50m set and love them. They are soft and nice to color. Since 2 days I have the 100 set, not tried them out yet. And I have the polychromos which are my favourite pencils. Best wishes from Germany by Judith

Nice video! I have Kalour and really like them. Have the Cretacolor too, had to order that sharpener after the fact lol. Got some others your using as well. Heck I think lots of us have a obscene amount of pencils and Im guilty. You also touched base on some things I occasionally look at on amazon kinda waiting for sales on.

Ya they should call them the ergohard.. lol. They are decent pencils. But with a name like that it is definitely misleading. Nice to hear from another pencil collector, have a great day sweetie

Te animo a darles una oportunidad a tus Pitt pastel. Si utilizas el papel adecuado se adhieren muy bien y apenas sueltan polvo. Yo ni siquiera uso fijador. Tampoco tienes que preocuparte por el sacapuntas, ya que lo recomendable es afilarlos con un cúter. Para dibujos pequeños y detallados prefiero los lápices de colores, pero para otras cosas me gustan estos, pues se extienden más rápido y se difuminan muy bien. ¡Disfruta tu colección!

Wonderful collection you have! I like your video a lot! About the FC Pitt pencils: i just had a workshop with them and was advised to sharpen them with a knife because they brake very easily in a sharpener

I have a large collection too from over the years and since it brings enjoyment and promotes creativity, I think that it's great . 💖 oh meant to say..I have the uni pencils too in the unique case. I am debating whether to transfer them to a regular case as mine have fallen out many times and it's such a pain to pick them all up and organise them again. Lol
Yes the uni case is neat, but can be a pain. For me it takes up my entire desk. So if I want to color with them I have to do it on the table. It is crazy. They are excellent pencils. Thank you so much for watching my collection video. ❤️

I would say the arteza watercolor pencils.
I found containers like the ones you bought at Hobby Lobby at the Dollar Tree

I never had the Ergosoft pencils, but I had other Steadtler color pencils. For actual drawings, straight lines, making charts, graphs, or other notebooking uses I love that brand.
I agree they aren't the best pencils for coloring. I'd recommend them to any math student though.
The prismacolor colorerase are great for math students as well. And for drawing architecture.

Thank you so much, the magicfly colored pencils are different. I have the old set. The new set has a black barrel and a dipped end.
So which large (120+) pencil cases would you reccomend? I recently bought two from Amazon, but they just felt really flimsy and low quality and I didn't feel confident in their ability to keep my stuff safe.

I recently bought this brand the 168 I love it. It has individual slots which I like, and it feels like it could last awhile.
@@jamiescoloringlove Thanks! Does the outside actually feel like fabric, or does it feel like plastic? One of the cases I tried from Amazon was technically made from fabric, but it felt like a plastic-fabric hybrid and was really unpleasant to touch. There also was just no structure or padding to either case, so they didn't seem like they would provide even the smallest amount of protection, and since I have Prismacolors, they really need to be handled with care. Also, in both cases it seemed like the edge of the zipper was pulled too tight so it tilted inwards towards the pencils quite a bit which had me worried the metal zipper would rub against the tips of the pencil and catch on pencils when I tried to take them out. I might just look into some cases made by actual art/colored pencil brands, even though they are gonna be pricier than Amazon, because there were way too many opportunities for disaster with cases I tried from Amazon 😅
I know derwent makes pencil cases. I don't own one myself but I do know they have them .
It always amazes me how many haters there are or people who think they can tell others what to do with their money. I’m the lady who will comment back, “why do you care and mind yours.” If this is what you enjoy, know there are a ton of us others who do as well and don’t care what any of these negative Nancy’s think. They can pound sand!

You can still get woodless watercolor pencils. Areteza has them. So does Creatacolor, KOH-i-Noor, Kingart and many others.
Yes, unfortunately the hethrones are unavailable. I think these are probably similar to the arteza. Thanks for watching.
My pleasure. I'm always sad when something I like is unavailable and happy to hear of something similar. I've used the KOH-i-Noor brand because we used their technical pens in the studio (way back in the day), but I haven't used the others yet. Great video BTW. Thanks for sharing.
The dahle 133 doesn’t leave marks in any of my pencils.
I am so happy to here yours doesn't. It did on every single one of mine. Maybe I got a bad apple. Who knows.
I have a doubt, are Pablo's and kho i noor similar ?
They actually feel very different in lay down. The pablo is alot softer. Because it has more wax base in it. Kohinor it a much harder lead, it is an oil based pencil.

I think colorist’s are collectors, I don’t think people who are not into coloring are really able to understand. Some people want just oil based, some just wax based, some just want the affordable pencils, some only want the expensive, and some want them all. Lol

You cannot buy any of the 12 colors of the Cretacolor Brilliant Metallic Colored Pencils open stock at all. If you run out of one color you will have to buy the 12 set of the Cretacolor Brilliant Metallic Colored Pencils again.

People don't have anything else than criticize the size of someone's color pencil collection? Really! People need to mind their business. I have a rather large color pencil collection and guess what? I don't have time to use all of my art supplies either. Why? I work full-time and not as an artist.

I can't afford them pencils I stick with dollar tree pencils or dollar general pencils and cayola color pencils or craz- art pencils I will not buy them off of amazon
Use whatever works for you. That is the great thing about the coloring community everyone uses different things. That is what makes us unique. Thanks for watching.
