@@TerryMundy Outlook's powerful search functions do show the folder location and, along with tags and categories, can help keep things organized without needing complex folder structures.
Interesting. After watching a video quite some time ago on a different channel, I was convinced to go back to the old Outlook. Now I'm inclined to go back and dig a little bit deeper into the New Outlook.
I have multiple email accounts on outlook. The old outlook would show me how many unread emails I had by displaying a number next to my email address name. So it was easy to tell which accounts had new emails that I hadn't seen yet. However the new outlook does not display that. I have to click on each email address to open it up and only then can I see how many new inbox emails I have. Is there anyway to fix that or make it show new emails without clicking on each one? Thanks!
Good video. Maybe it's time I update from Outlook 2007 🤔🤣🤣 Do you think it would import all my folders and setting from 2007? I mean, it's only 17 years difference 🤣
Oh wow, sounds like a switch will be happening in your near future. You can try to export your folders from 2007 (which I would suggest anyways) and then import them into the new version, but this could also be an opportunity to trim down the folders and use tags / search feature instead (lots of folders leads to lost emails and clutter). Good luck with your switch!
If you go to the Settings / Gear icon on the top right then > Accounts > Email Accounts > Manage for the account that you want to sign out of. Another easier option would be to just login using the web version of Outlook.
Nothing yet 😔 This has not been released unfortunately. There is a lot of chatter about this feature not being brought over so hopefully they bring it soon 🤞 if it's important to you then I would recommend submitting feedback to Microsoft to cast a vote for the feature.
Have you switched to the NEW Outlook yet?
HOW do I know? The entire thing is messed up today
Don't know how....?
New tablet
Nope. No reason to. Microsoft hasn't fixed the "Show Folder Path" since they removed it in 2010. Outlook continues to get worse rather than better.

I switched to my company "New Outlook" but have lost access to my boss's Outlook and my own personal Outlook - how can I get them in this new one?
It sounds like you'll need to re-add accounts.
no profile picture to see, how to log out the email account if i use in an untrusted device

Excelent vídeo.
Thank you so much!
IN MY MAIL SECTION I CAN NOT FIND CATEGORIES TO BE ABLE TO USE IT….WHERE IS IT? CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO FIND IT OR DO I NEED TO DOWN LOAD IT….
It wouldn't be separate, I would ensure that you are using the new Outlook.
any news about the OFT files???
