Thanks for the overview of the con. I have been following along since I found your intro to Gen Con video. I haven't been to Gen Con since it was in Milwaukee back in the late '80s. You have me inspired to plan on going in '25.

Really appreciate your videos. I've been going since 2003 and have only missed three of them, including this year. I actually have my badge and tickets for this year and even had a free room for downtown Indy.....buttttttttttt just could not come up with the money for gas, food and fun. I have a serious case of FOMO. Ugggggggggggggg lol

There's a setting in the camera so that you do not film everything mirrored. It is annoying to see all banners and T-Shirts in mirror mode. Other then that, thanks for doing this.

As a GenCon attendee from outside the US, I had no choice but to wait in the Will Call queue. GenCon doesn’t send to non-US addresses. You’d imagine that after spending more to get to the con than US based con goers, that the organisers would make some concessions to non-US attendees, but nooooo. There’s a Latin Lounge where I met some cool guys from Mexico, but apart from that, GenCon’s organisers are indifferent to the point of hostility towards non-US gamers :~\
Aww that really is unfortunate 😕 I wish it was made easier for you. I have had many people from outside the US commenting on my videos how much they would like to come

What were the games you hoped to buy but were sold out?
Rock Hard and Comic Hunters. Rock Hard went almost immediately and Comic Hunters didn’t sell out immediately but there was no chance I was standing in that line lol my friend Lucas found it at Barnes and Noble the day after we got back though so we ended up with it anyway 😂😂
