I just wonder how many people were infolved at that point in making the game. Creating WoW as a huge undertaking and the actually pulled it off. It's an amazing accomplishment producing such an absurdly huge world. All the art and story, mechanics.. decisions, it's endless. Can imainge some devs burned-out real bad in the process (hope not).
If blizzard changed the skin color of a race or animations of a race in WoW, that does not mean that the race has a new model. Models definitely do come with new skin colors and animations. But simply changing the skin color and animations without changing the facial features of a race, the hair, the eyes, facial animations, does not mean that you have an entirely new model. Since none of these changes were done to the races in WoW after Alpha, it means we still have the same models.
It says pre alpha, but i seen a meeting stone, andi dont remember there being meeting stones in vanilla, but thats just me, sometimes i have a bad memory lol, and it was like 10 years ago!!

Meeting stones existed in vanilla. They were supposed to queue you for a group I think, but no one used them so they never really worked, plus you had to travel out to the dungeon entrance to use them, and hanging around dungeon entrances was a good way to get ganked. All groups were basically pre-mades formed through trade chat in org or undercity.

Actually the one he was talking about is a binding stone which served as Innkeepers to bind your hearthstone to
the most embarrassing thing is that many of the alpha textures (including their horrible resolution) is still in the game today.

There's a book now. Probably don't care but atarted with a bit more than 10 and by the end of development there were around 60

Both. But the initial version of the stone was pretty useless. Can't remember if the stone itself was added in the beta or not. It's all blurry.

It's because it's an emulator with an empty world loaded. You have to setup mob spawns yourself.
