That ASU helmet always makes me think the Sun Devil is shoveling nachos with that 7-11 style cheese dip 😂

I have seen “coach in waiting” blow up and backfire many times before. This gives him more leverage to get larger offers possibly. Everyone has a number that will pull them away.

Scalley as the next coach, means we keep our identity. No drop off, no rebuild. It just keeps going.

Fun stuff! Pitchfork Sparky is their best helmet. Thanks

Toughest places to play rankings is WAY THE HELL OFF. Both Autzen and Rice-Eccles are legitimately a nightmare to play at. B1G is about to find out and the Big 12 is going to get a wake up call. So many teams on that list weaseled their way out of playing in Eugene.

SCO DUCKS - October 12th, biggest game of the season (if all goes as expected) - Ohio State comes to Autzen!
How in the hell is Colorado up there with the absolute worst offensive line in the Big 12? What.

Great collection of mini helmets on the round table. I am hoping for a black helmet with interlocking U's this year.

Speaking of night games, does anybody think there are going to be more night games this year? I do because this conference is kinda backward geographically from what Utah was in the Pac-12. I’m thinking all the eastern and central time zone teams will be getting all the earlier time slots while the schools in the mountain time zone will be getting most of the late games (Big 12 After Dark). There are ZERO teams in the Big 12 in the Pacific Time Zone including Arizona because Arizona has its own time zone (no daylight savings time), so that means a lot of night games for mountain time zone teams, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Utah had ZERO night games at home last year except for the Florida game, which was on a Thursday night so that doesn’t really count. I assume that the Big 12 will be taking over that late night spot on ESPN which was formerly occupied by the Pac-12? Well I guess them plus Cal/Stanford because the ACC has an ESPN contract. The four former PAC-12 schools who joined the Big Ten (Oregon, Washington, USC, UCLA) will NOT be involved there because the Big Ten doesn’t have a contract with ESPN. Who else are they going to in those spots other than Big 12 teams?

I wish I shared the optimism, but I don't. YES, he is a great D-Cordinator, but head coach? Time will tell, and I hope I'm wrong, I just don't see it. If anything, I see it as a step backward. Things can change so fast, and who even knows who would even be interested in the job and now we won't even know if their was someone better with more experience. It's kinda set in stone now, and I think that it is foolish to close the door before Whitt even retires.

I get your concern, but I think the continuity and stability of the program is significant in today's college landscape. I hope it works out. But I have full confidence it will.
