Im glad for Italy, i believe most of the World likes to see Italy on the field playing well. I personally never got over Baggio retireing from World football so I dont follow it anymore. One famous man once said "football without Baggio is like the sky without the Sun!".
You're absolutely right, cause the circumstances that caused Baggio's retire, where a shame for the FIGC...! For real it started with Giovanni Trapatoni, not considering him for world championship 2002, that Italy would have won with other referees doing their job the right way. Robert Baggio deserves beeing considered in Italy' s soccer future...!
Spalletti is one of the best coaches in the world. In every team he go he do well, Even in the national team, where is difficult for a mister teach every important concept.
Italy would have played even better had the pitch been in better condition. It was too wet and the players could not really control the game as we wished they should.
Yeap, Italy is back! They must only handle better the inactive balls of the opponents...! Cause it's here, where we get opponent-goals...! FORZA ITALIA del calcio...! 🇮🇹💙⚽

How do you feel about Calafiori playing right in front of defense? I can't stop thinking about it but I think that he would play well there. Any thoughts?
i think 4-3-3 is way forward we have now good lb and rb and chiesa works in this formation chiesa rete fratessi tonali ricci barella cala basto saclvini cambiaso donna ------------------------------------------------------
keep it in your pants. italy is improving but still struggles to score. they must first qualify for the WC and then we'll see how they compete at the highest level.
Italy is going through a rebuilding phase, using new young players like ricci, rovella now for example, tonali has come back and lifted the team too. Spalletti has now had time to figure out things, and the 3-5-2 system suits the players much more. I expect the azzurri to continue to get stronger and stronger and integrate more talented young players. Azzurri could become a force to be reckoned with come the World Cup
I mean, they just won the Euro's just 3 short years ago. The problem is, the bar is set so high for Italy, that anything less than being a top 5 team and constantly winning is seen as a failure. Yes, the 2010's were a rough patch, but they seem to have this ship on the right course and have everything figured out. All the guys look extremely good out there. Yes, the Euro's in 2024 were a disaster, but a LOT of their best guys were out injured, too.
@@truthteller4442 the problem is the two missed World cups, a team like Italy shouldn't have an issue to qualify. Italy getting eliminated in the group stage the two previous World Cups isn't as dramatic because it's happened to Germany, but missing two World Cups is a huge blow
Everyone’s quick to jump the gun italy has no talent their players aren’t the same anymore then 2 weeks later where the best! Only football purest understand this if you disagree your not one

In Italy they say "there are no more Sundays since Baggio retired"
@santinodellacroce2079 bro, I'm Mexican and I feel da same. Not even this Ronaldo and Messi thing got me into Football again
Totally agree. Thank you!!

I hope, Italy will remain consistent with winning performances.
Love the podcast. See you on nov 23rd 🇮🇹🇺🇸

Italy is a strong team now- no doubts about that
Only Lautaro's Argentina is perhaps a little higher today than Italy...

Forza Italia
It feels so bad that Spalletti could have used the 3-5-2 at euro instead of his 4-2-3-1, we would have beaten switzerland for sure

Hey guys, love the show! How do I get past the login page on your website so I could buy some merch?
It’ll be live at 12pm EST. 2 hours from now!
Let’s make the World Cup 2026 before we can talk about Italy being “back”
I’ll definitely be there on Saturday the 23rd! Mike, I hope you pick me my man! Love the jerseys and have been following this podcast for a while now.
PS Just ordered your jersey. That away kit is so well done. It’s actually better than our actual away kit, no joke!

I’m a Chicago Bears fan. Who scores more Sunday- Bears or Italy?
😂 I feel ya. But as always 🐻👇

Im glad italy has been putting some wins together. It doesn't mean anythting if they don't make the WC lol.
2:41 its not true the others nations league we always finished 3th place
I mentioned in the international friendlies not Nations League. Luckily in recent years we started to take it serious
@@ItalianFootballTVOfficialwell the friendlies too because Mancini was rebuilding and Spalletti too.
Gald to see Ranieri again in SA. Of course he's a legend, but Romanisti are simply doomed. There are at least 7 better squads in Italy right now.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves guys with such victories in a short span.....the title is only valid if we nail it in the big tournaments.
why don't you guy's stream Italy games anymore ?
Forza Azzurri
How come Italy is a beast in Nation's League but sucks on major tournaments?
@@josefranciscoarcesanchez9246 that's the way they have been since the beginning of the Millenium, they have been up and down till the date

We made a mistake in last EUROs. Spalletti over coached and should’ve stuck with most inform players and system.

Until it gets to play Macedonia 😄
The footballing world always welcomes Italy to do well on the pitch 🫡 they've been really solid since a poor Euro 2024 campaign
ROVELLA top player.
