@@Rohan-lw7wi no Sekiro is harder. Nioh 2 can be tough but the combat is a lot more fun and exciting.

I love Nioh for the fact that it's a Soulslike that anyone can come in to and learn to master. There's a load and a half of mechanics that allow any play style to become a force to be reckoned with.
That being said, this is true talent.
One thing this game taught me is to be patient and learn every enemies move set. I never played Nioh and I jumped straight into the 2nd one. Since it is a prequel after all.
See, I was so impatient when I ran and started trying to hack n slash. Quickly noticed how ineffective it became. DMC is a different kind of tough. Yes, the enemies don't play, but if you have good reaction, you can beat it.
My biggest grip with the game is enemies attacking you off screen. Again, still spoiled from DMC. I feel it was more fair they had it to where enemies don't attack you off screen.
A good example was when I just got finished killing a Gaki and got off screened dropped kicked from a Cyclops. But aint gonna lie, I was mad, but I also laughed pretty hard.
The first nioh definitely taught me patience real fast, killed 80 elixirs at 2nd boss, damn you hino-enma!!! I didn't play the demo but the pace seems slower than nioh, I could be wrong though
MBacc just make a ninjutsu build you can speed run the game in about 7-8 hours I beat it and ng+ all in 2 days using ninjutsu it’s so strong and you just have to set back and throw kunai without any risk now I can start making new builds and learning other play styles since I can farm all the best gear they’ll probably nerf ninjutsu soon tbh

Idk if it’s just me but I like it when its in Japanese ( correct me if I’m wrong) rather than English. I feel more into the game
Japanese voice actors are much better in this game than usual. Also they never talk in usual fashion, instead it is just lines of describing themselves most of the cut scenes so it does sound weird when you understand what they're saying, that could also be a factor.

Greatest thing I learned for boss battles was the strength of the different shift burst counters. I was only trying to use phantom throughout the whole game. And high stance for instant roll evade.
I too am using only Phantom, and Always mid stance. Also don't know how to use Active Skills, so i don't use them🥺🥺🥺🥺
this whole series is a great game, it also has new ideas for a new warriors orochi game.
Do you mind if I ask you a question on dodging? I notice you seem to stick to mid and high stance. Is it true that the roll really has more s? I noticed you almost never use low stance to dodge. With me whenever i need to dodge out, I always swap to low stance real fast, due to the game saying it is better for dodging, so I figured it had the most s.

Every enemies are like a boss no matter how strong you are even with the right equipmentthey still own your butts on the field
It took me quite a while to get the lady castle one. One of the lasers always got me somehow no matter how fast I killed the heads.

Is that at the first time you meet them? Or returning later? I think I might be able to handle the second just after killing otokemaru. But not taking any damage at all in the first moment you meet them is hard for some bosses with some area damage ( like Shibata pools of fire, or small snakes from the big snake
Just recently started playing Ghost of Tsushima and barely getting the hang of it , but I'll get there.

All the time i was awkwardly strafing Azai's feathers, i could have just stepped behind him...pretty much the only thing that was actually dangerous in that fight.

Insane skills. Is switchglaive as good as it seems? Insane numbers with massive reach, quick startup and not a bad animation lock as well as free access to Onmyo. It’s probably largely due to the skill of the player but it’s making me feel like a weenie with my Kusarigama (which is still a great weapon and reaper can be really busted, but damn. I couldn’t get near this dps even with good openings but maybe I’m doing something wrong).
I have hundreds of hours in the Nioh series, and I honestly had NO IDEA there was an English option.

On what difficulty did you played ? I m asking because I saw earlier another youtuber struggle even with the first boss and that boss was more aggile and more violent than the one in your video. Or you did side quests and earn better gear so this way is easier to do more damage?
I wanna know cuz I m thinking if is that hard as others say or not so I can play it or not.
Maybe you figured it out by now but Nioh 2 doesn't have a difficulty setting
the difficulty is defaulted at "do or die"
That's the NG+. you can go in the underworld the bosses are much, much harder. There is also this thing called stone of penance which also makes the game harder, you can increase the penance 9x.
Nioh is a fantastic game for gameplay

So I haven’t played Nioh 2 yet, could someone explain what the bar under their weapon on the right side is? Is it like a charge meter, like doing more and more damage allows you to charge up or something?
So certain weapons are yokai themselves, developing sentience as they get used. The meter indicates that the weapon is gaining sentience. In gameplay terms, this gives it a temporary buff. Once the buff ends the meter resets.

I still dont understand how you dont take any damage at the beginning of the Okasabe fight at 50:10. It clearly throws an element ball at you and it doesnt damage you. All you do is apply a caranage talisman and a barrier talisman then pull out the cannon.
Think if you move all the way back the orbs hit the floor before they get to you

What nioh 2 taught me is that odachi needs to be fine tuned it feels compared to the other weapons, I could be trash at it but even the axe feels like it just does more for me and EVERY weapon besides it.
Odachi feels great. Play to it's strengths.
@@polly5502 I try to ( I played it all throughout nioh 1 and the dlc) so again all im saying is it felt less to me in nioh2 with how enemeis react now, is it horrible? No. But I felt like other weapons did its job better if that job is to break ki. Still one of the best for humans though
odachi and glaive are the best weapons tbh. hatchets need a buff

@@niio4580 yep end game builds are op. Ninja and poison shreds enemies also use Anima gain cores and rolls.
Did you beat all bosses without getting hit in the same run, or did it take multiple tries for each boss? Impressive either way.
First try. If it was more than once then they won’t show the cutscene or introduction of the boss.
You can tell he didn't on the first try since his guardian spirit was on the ground before some of the boss fights. It would be next to impossible to defeat every single boss fight in the game without dying during the first playthrough. Even some of the best Nioh players who stream the game has died or gotten hit on the first encounter with each boss fight. This player is still very impressive in the way he learned each fight though.

bruh.......game's only been out for a few days. we got people out here speed running souls games and shit while i struggle to beat the first couple of bosses. i dont even know why this was in my recommended, i dont even own the game yet.
