Hey Paul, really enjoying the video. I had to pause it when I heard you say that most people don’t interact with the shadow people. I had a terrifying encounter with a shadow person as a child and it definitely interacted with me, but only after I got it’s attention. I actually just started a new podcast, and my first episode is me going over the encounter. The podcast is called Firelight Vibes. Such an important thing (if true). How come you did not set up a baby monitor and later watch the videos until eventually you catch one on video?
@@nbeizaieI only saw the shadow person once, and it was when I was a kid in the 90’s. I’m not even sure if there were video baby monitors back then lol, but we were way too poor to afford one in any case. That would be a great experiment for someone currently experiencing these things though.

Did trauma prelude any shadow contact? I have read that children, suffering traumatic experiences often had shadow interactions afterwards.
Hello Paul, I've seen shadow people tall and small from as young as I can remember. I don't know why but with the ones I experienced my whole life they would paralyze me. I couldn't speak or move. When I was a Christian I would call out Jesus to help me in my mind and it would leave. I'm no longer a Christian and I am 47 years old now and came to learn that the shadow people I'd seen were due to generational trauma, soul wonds and past lives. At times I would wake up screaming from fear bc of the shadow people. It wasn't until my children who were young adults told me that the screams I made would scare them having them rush to my room to wake me up but I was paralyzed. When I came too my son said something profound that ended these nightmares, shadow people and night terrors. He said "you need to do something about that PTSD." This puzzled me but had me thinking. As a healer I had been given the root cause to all that I had been experiencing since I was a little girl. Once I got rid of the PTSD, trauma and soul wounds and healed myself from it I no longer experienced any of the above. As a Native American there was a lot of trauma and soul wounds in my bloodline, I've healed myself from that. Thank you for this video. I hope my post can help someone.
You heal much more than yourself when you do work that powerful. Thank you for your courage and strength. Your people have been terrorized by evil forces, and profoundly loved and cared for by the forces of the Great Spirit. I am sure you did this with that help! I hope your life is full of love.
Oh! My! I've been searching and searching for their meaning and a while back intuited that they had to do with trauma too. I was about 6 when I saw a shadow (all black) exuding evil male energy, and had a hat on. Mind you, I was already experiencing developmental trauma; and only saw it that time. The road to Healing has been hard, painful yet enlightening and a gift beyond words.

I experienced shadow people too and I would become paralyzed too. When I called out to Jesus in my mind they immediately left. Now every night I rebuke all evil in my house using the authority Jesus gave me. This only strengthens my belief in Jesus. He keeps me safe. A question for you -- If calling out to Jesus made them leave how are you not a Christian anymore and a stronger one at that? No judgement, just asking.
Thank you for sharing your experience.. very similar to mine.. it is somewhat validating because as a young teenager in the 90’s , these things were not discussed and when I tried to explain this to my family and a doctor, well, they made me feel as though I was delusional or lying … it’s all good now and I’m great full of the experience because it drew me closer to knowing the spiritual side of our existence… mind you, it wasn’t good for me for 15 years coz I was so scared to go to sleep… 😬
Days before my husband passed suddenly he told me about shadow person he was seeing. My husband passing wasn't expected by either of us, no disease nor accident just a quick natural passing. He even smiled at me sweetly during his last 3 breaths and turned to look at someone I couldn't see. His smile became even wider as tho he saw someone very dear to him an left his body. Altho I miss him dearly we were very happy, I must say that his passing was a beautiful death and that he seemed as if he was happy like when we are visited by a loved one we haven't seen in many many years.

I had just become a born again Christian thru the spirit of God.
About 3 months later I was laying on my bed awake ,when a 7 foot shadow being appeared by my bed .
Within seconds he had put me in some sort of Coma where I could only move my eyes.
Then he stood over me and put his hands around my neck and was choking me .
He had ungodly strength.
I couldn't breathe I was suffocating.
Then a clear voice came into my head thru telepathy, it said, tell him your not scared of him you have Christ.
So I moved my eyes to his face and in my head said these words ,and within seconds he let go and disappeared.
I got straight up and ran into the kitchen to tell my wife what had happened.
He definitely had evil intent and I could feel the anger projecting off him.
I have not had any other shadow person experience's, but more demonic attacks ,but nothing in 6 years .
Christ will always be with me.

I've had 2 encounters with these shadow peoples. My best defense is light. They hate light. I sleep with the living-room light on in middle of the deep night.

this exact thing happened to me! i was being chocked and before that(previous night) i was woken up being stabbed by the shadow person while paralyzed. i got rid of it by reading passages from the bible out loud and declaring out loud my home and self belonging to Jesus Christ, i then asked for it to be removed, finally, i threw some salt on the floor because i heard that was a thing. Anyway that night it woke me up choking me it went from shadow to clear like invisible i could still feel it and see it around my neck but it was almost like it was getting pulled away and very mad about it 😆 not a single incident to this day 🤗
Both of my adult twin sons see shadow people, they also get the sleep paralysis which is terrifying for them. I have had a very positive shadow being experience. A huge blacker than black "cloud" aproached me at a very difficult time in my life, the being embraced me and told me everything is going to be ok. I felt a motherly love that I've never felt before. Whatever this is, its real. I am a firm believer now. I've seen it and felt it. Thankyou for your time making these videos, really love them.
Dear Brother Paul. Thank you. I have devoured every gift you've shared. I've been a little mystic weirdo since birth. No one else was. I'm sixty five and now everyone openly talks about their other dimensional experiences! I'm astonished! Our vibration is rising. When I was three months old, I startled my very young parents by screaming like a woman. My 17 year old mother rushed into the warmer living room, where I slept. A figure in a hooded cloak was jackknifed over me, lying on me. My mother softly called my dad and the being stood up straight and turned toward my parents. It floated above the floor and seemed to have no feet. My mom could see his face. She thought he looked evil, handsome but menacing. my father never saw his face. He looked right at my mom and seemed to communicate that he would return. Boy do I have questions! It's different from the shadow people. He wanted my parents to see him. Why was he lying on me? Who was he? Oh, and he left by floating through the venetian blinds. I think my dad was scared of me ever since. My life has been one of spiritual learning. I've had miracles move through me, wild animals come into my arms. Once a woman came out of a coma. That was starling. Her test results improved from that moment. I have questions. I'm so grateful that I'm no longer alone, a stranger in a strange land. Thank you, dear brother.
The way I understand it, there are shadow people and animals associated with healing or communicating. Certain people vibrate at specific frequencies.
Then there are those who imitate shadow people, animals. Those are shadows of echoes of the past that could be human or have never been human.
Only projecting themselves as human. What you've described is something literally feeding on your energy as is required for it to function and exist.
They are known to squeeze a person's heart or lungs. Even hands over mouth suffocate. Another ominous experience involves them putting poison into a person.
Which makes them sick physically, mentally, and spiritually. Sounds like you are a healer of specific, unique to you. Human, nonhuman, and animal would absolutely know this about you even if you did not. This is my opinion and how I translate from what I understand and know.
If one can turn off the ego and listen inside as well as the outside, our intuition rarely, if ever, steers us foul.🔥

I've seen them, never in the house (I've blessed my house with Holy oil & disallowed evil in, with the Blood of Jesus & the Armor of All Mighty God) But I have seen them mostly in the woods. No head dress, just a see through shadow of a person, always feels like a man(?) But when they realize I see them, they try to hide from me. Behind a tree, a downed log... Never felt fear, only curiosity... I finely asked God to take them away from me, & I haven't seen them in a few years now. But have, on occasions seen other cryptics!!
I believe they are inter dimensional beings. & Not everyone's personal vibrations are in tuned to see them. Partially due to ignoring what they can't explain.

I'm really glad to see this topic getting more attention. I have, sporadically, seen people that others do not for MANY years now. Shadow people as well as other forms.
When I was 19, I suffered a gunshot wound. As they brought me out of anesthesia, following the initial emergency surgery, I saw a black figure wearing what appeared to be a tall collared jacket and a flat wide brimmed hat (similar to those of the Amish). I attempted to point at him (I was restrained) as I asked, "who's that?"
My mom turned to look, seeing nobody she tells me, "it's just me and the nurse, honey." Although, every hair on her skin was standing on end and her eyes said that she just saw a ghost, she says that she didn't see anything. Though, just as I asked the question, it was as if I remembered that nobody would be able to see him. As quickly as that revelation occurred, he tipped his hat and vanished.
From that moment, for many years, I would see shadow people, nearly, daily. They were everywhere, seemingly just going about their day to day. None of them were ever seen wearing hats though. I felt like the kid in The 6th Sense.
Once, while in the hospital, I told their psychologist about them, which led to a series of questions. During these questions, she asked if I ever heard them say anything, which I hadn't. Though, this idea led to me attempting to talk to a shadow person for the first time.
I was lying in my hospital bed when a shadow person walked in. They walked around the bed and appeared to inspect my IV bag. They, then, went to the foot of the bed and appeared to be checking my charts, though my 'material' chart did not move, there appeared to be a 'shadow chart' in their hands. The entity moved to the other side of the bed and seemed to be inspecting my body. It was at this point that I decided to attempt talking to them.
I asked, "are you one of them?" Instantly, they stood up as straight as possible, as if they were alarmed, then ran out of the room.
I could continue with my anecdotes, but I am currently in the hospital AGAIN and I REALLY dislike typing on a phone. It's such a pain in the ass, idk how some people do this all day, every day.

Why tf they act like they’re invisible
Paul, a few years ago me and my wife were sleeping and in the middle of the night I woke up. I never opened my eyes, but was full aware of everything in the bedroom. I knew the position my wife was sleeping, the cat at my feet. There at the foot of the bed was a shadow person, watching me. I was not afraid, or startled. It was a short robust figure. I felt safe for some reason. The cat even raised up and looked at the figure. Keep in mind the most strange part is I never opened my eyes but I was awake. 🙏🏻
This has happened my whole life. I appear asleep, eyes closed but I'm fully awake and can see everything and experience everything around me.

I had one similar experience not long ago. I was asleep and in my dream I felt someone was watching me right behind me (I sleep on sides). I felt that intense scary stare so I woke up and turn around. Nothing was there. I never sleep on the opposite side again 🫠
In the Australian summer of 1984-1985 I experienced a shadow man at the end of my bed for a few months. He had a cowboy hat on and red eyes. He never moved and I could feel his intense stare as he stood there. I was 12 at the time. He would be there if I woke up as well as when I was falling asleep. But he was only there at night time. One night he just wasn’t there and I have never seen him again.
My experience happened a few years ago at that time I had been doing a deep dive into the Anunnaki and the emerald tablets of thoth. My girlfriend had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and I would read to her at night about my research. I was beginning to try meditation and learning about the Monroe Institute and having out of body experience. She passed away at my home in my living room.Not long after I came home from work one night turned the tv on laid back on my chase closed my eyes and was fighting off sleep when to my right came a black shadow figure.My first feeling was fear but it had long flowing hair like my girlfriend and it reached down and kissed my cheek three times and suddenly a vision of enki or Neptune appeared and i was standing in front of my chase totally awake as if pulled up and very aware of what had happened.The experience has left me with many questions.Thank you Paul I love your work and this isn't something you ran out and tell your friends about but this space seems like the perfect place.

I had a shadow person visit me as a child for years. It eventually protected me from a dangerous situation by picking me up and putting me in a place where I would be safe. He told me first not to look at him, then not to be afraid, and left the room.
Thanks for sharing. I never thought until a few weeks ago that they help sometimes, or protect but i heard a story recently a girl almost fell down the stairs and her friend watched how a black figure/ shadow pulled her back so she would not fall. 🤔

Thank you, for starting this conversation. I have been experiencing a shadow person for the past 1.5 years. My first experience was right before my dogs passing & we both saw it. I am very energetically sensitive and knew that my dog would be passing soon (within days). I wake up at night to the shadow person standing next to the bed. I soon as I see the shadow person it disappears. I do not feel negativity. I have now started seeing during the day when I walk into a room. I had verbal conversation and asked that it stop startling me. The shadow person did not speak, but what I did hear 'You are being protected and watched over." I have been very confused by this. I have had so many strange experiences over the last 5 years (I wish not to post here) that it did not surprise me.
The Hat man came to me in 1992 ,sleep paralysis and fear was the key to his success. Until I became strong in who I was. Now as shaman I remove them from haunted others.
I seen him I was sitting there reading I looked up I felt something there when I did I seen a dress boot propped up in my window attached to a man w a trench coat and a hat he took long slow drag off his cig n when the fire lit up on his cig his eyes lit up same fire orange red as his cig then his center started swirling like a vortex and he wss gone in a wisp of smoke rolling 🤷♀️
There was an author named Joan Grant writing in the 1920s and 30s. She wrote a number of books that are classified as historical fiction, but she said that they weren't fiction and she didn't have to do any research about them, because they were her memories of her own past lives.
Some were set in ancient Egypt (like her most famous book, The Winged Pharaoh), some in Renaissance Europe, one in ancient Greece, etc.
They're really enjoyable books, and reveal some interesting spiritual aspects to life in other times. For example, she refers to a team of remote viewers working for the pharaoh in ancient Egypt, as intelligence agents basically.
Anyway, I bring her up because, in her autobiography of her life as Joan Grant (called Far Memory, in which she explains her process of recalling past lives) she talks about the work she did during her sleep.
It seems that part of her "dream-life" was to be a sort of ministering angel to people who were in danger, in distress, in fear, or in the act of dying. She would go to them and try to help in whatever way she could.
Perhaps we all do some of this work while we're sleeping? But I wonder what the people she helped were seeing? Could she have looked like a shadow person to some of them?
Just a thought.
Now that is a fascinating concept that I can relate to. Just recently in a dream I ran to what appeared to be a deformed dying human on the pavement near by. It was in fear and lamenting that no one would be on the other side to greet, and it had no one on this side to witness it's passing. I embraced it and comforted it, and promptly awoke from this disturbing very real "person"?). It reminded me of an 'angel/real human' in a news tape, who ran to a burning semi truck to rescue the driver before full explosion but was never seen again. Maybe we astrally travel to do our important work, if we lead low key lives otherwise.
If I remember correctly and it’s the same person - academics took Joan more seriously when she was able to locate a previously undiscovered ancient Egyptian site recalling it from one of her past life memories

Speaking of doing work while sleeping, I woke to use the rest room one night saying out loud "Well were just going to have to get more actuaries". Returning to bed, I wondered WTH are "actuaries". I had to google it. My second thought was geez, I didn't even excuse myself... I hope our business was finished, whatever it was. This was about 2016.
That's a masterful soul to help others in their sleep. This is the best work one can do.
I've experienced it about four times in my life. And each time it scared the hell out of me. They take the shape the outline of a human. But no features.. very tall and thin. And yes like a dark shadow. I've only seen them in the daytime.. once in the woods.. once in my yard couple of times in my hallway. The moment I looked at them they disappeared.. it's almost like you caught them out of the corner of your eye when they thought you weren't looking and as soon as you realize they're there they vanished
So weird. What I saw in a dream. Actually sleeping but yet I knew it was not. Very sinister. No face but was trying to 'get me' kept shouting no no no no no .. Jumped out of sleep and was terrified to go back until I saw morning dawning. Very disturbing silent energy. Yeaaarrrs later, visit a sick cousin in hospital and minute she began speaking of the terrible entity in her dream.....waw..

@@atondefreit8888I'm wondering what it was saying 'no' about...there are many NDE stories, involving hooded beings that help the person ( soul) return to earth if their time is not up. I know this sounds 'Pollyannaish', but is it possible it was trying to keep you on earth to complete your time? Maybe that's why it was saying 'no'. I'm not necessarily saying I think this is true in your case, because I realize you said it sounded sinister ( and that is super scary) but just trying to see this differently. Sometimes things are not what they seem at first. Either way, I hope that doesn't happen again. I've had similar things happen that were not 'delightful' so I understand the feeling you must have felt. 😬
@rhinoOtt There’s no reason to make them flee unless they’re hurting you. Also calling on Jesus name doesn't work if you don't have a relationship with Jesus.
One can also say: “I stand in the love and light of the creator, and I command all negative spirits to leave this space now!” or “I command all negative & unbalanced energies to leave my sacred space now”
The point is not to act out of fear, but rather claim your power as a divine being with love.
@atcgirl5034 when I drown when I was 10 I went up up up into the stars seen the cliche tunnel and the light purest whitest light w gold flecks shooting out out of it boomed like thunder in a valley a man's voice your not suppose to be here and out the left side of tunnel were shadow ppl hands grabbing for anything they cld get which wss me I was drug to the opening of the tunnel and got to the end fell back screaming nooooo I was slammed into my body sit up gasping for air my granny was knelt beside me praying 🤷♀️
I had one unmistakable experience with a shadow person. It was at dust around 7pm. I was ill at home alone. It rose up out of the floor. It was a bit freaked out. It seems that my prayer and clearing my mind to GOD helped it to go back down into the floor. It was terrifying. I soon moved from that place.
Hello Paul, I hope that you are well. Thank you for bringing this topic. I do remember seeing shadows in my room, a human shaped shadow, regular height, but with a Spanish hat, like the one we see in the Zorro motion picture. Almost every night I used to see them, until I became 7 or 8 years old. My mom asked me to pray to God to make them go away. And it worked. There were days that their shape was so clear that I could almost touch it. Normally they would stand by the bottom of my bed, standing with crossed arms, just observing. I remember once, I covered my head with the blanket, and when I decided to take a look, It was right beside me....scared me to death. This visions would follow me almost everywhere I go, like grama's house, friends' houses, etc. I live in Brazil and I am 58 years old now. I'm not a medium, and I don't see spirits or dead people. What I do have, is a sharp intuition. And since teenage, I developed a strong interest for the unknown, for ancient history, UFO's, Near Death experience, etc. Thank you for the opportunity to reveal this.
From my experiences Mr. Paul, I really feel like an experience with a shadow depends on the shadows personality. I had a female shadow that loved me. I caught her looking at me out the corner of my eye. She jumped back off my bed. I saw all this from my living room sofa looking through the open bedroom door. I told my oldest child what I saw. Her mouth opened as wide as her eyes. She said sucking in a large portion of the air in the room, OMG 😮 I saw her too. The story goes on. It’s more exciting with a vocal rendition. I even had a ghost animal walk through my house many witnesses asking if I came in their rooms that night. I would’ve ask the same question, but it jumped on the bed and laid down by my leg. I figured it was one of my past away pets. I’ve enjoyed just about every encounter I’ve had with the exception of a few. We in human form cannot be the only beings with emotions.
I had this happen to me one time when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I was wide awake after just going to bed and I felt a presence in the room. I glanced toward the end of the bed and saw a dark cloaked figure that reminded me somehow of the grim reaper. I was absolutely petrified and hid under the covers. I'm 53 now and can remember this experience as if it happened yesterday.
Me too. About the same age, hooded figure leaning over my bed. I jumped up, ran to my parents room and got into bed with them. This thing followed me and was leaning over me again. I couldn't move at that point, couldn't speak. I guess I fell asleep after that. I'm 58 years old now and remember that experience vividly.

Me too around 7-8 years. Big and very black could not see thru, red glowing eyes and the sound of fire 🔥. Sparking, or buzzing and some descirbe they have smell sulfur/ fart. I did not however i did hear and see and feel, i could feel the athmosphere change and i could see in the corner of my eye something moving and when i check i can see from my room to the hallway and living room, and this fucking thing floats/ levatating in to the hallway from the kitchen. I see it directly in its eyes and whole dark shadow as it floates slowly and i feel its coming for me but from somewhere i got strong power, so strong i just screamed so loud right at it ” leave me alone” and then i looked away just as if you would get punched in the face, but then i cry a LOT and i keep repeating please leave me alone. And i feel peace but still in chock an fear so i look over out the hallway and i see nothing. I felt that the presence was gone but i was still very shaken and i remembwr this so clearly. I have seen them from time to time thru the years im 29 now and last time it was last year in february one year ago and i was sitting at the computer and i feel this presence and that someone is looking at me from the side so i turn my head and i see this shadow not so dark i could see through it and it didnt have any glowing eyes. But as fast as i looked at it directly i was quick to turn my head, the shadow ran away, the shadow was like oshit im spotted and ran out the Doors in to the hallway and out somewhere. There are portals in this world and a web of strings where they move around and im learning all the time and we need to start clearing up energies 🙏🏻✌🏻

My wife and I had an experience 25 years ago in Nashville TN.
Our experience was not good at all and still to this day it is crystal clear. No dream I ever had was this clear or memorable.
Around 3am I woke up startled to a shadow figure walking from the window to the foot of the bed. My wife later said she was watching but couldn't move or speak. I felt 90% paralyzed and couldn't speak either. In a bit of panic seeing this dark outline of something I instinctively tried to rise up to confront the unknown entity. I struggled to get partially up when the figure walked quickly to my side of the bed. The shadow figure then pressed me back down on the bed. It was a physical touch. I could feel the pressure on my chest. I was still acting instinctively and was able to softly yell out. It went out through the wall or window. As soon as it left my wife started screaming and turned on the lights. We compared our experience and it happened just as I have described. We never had it happen again and it wasn't until about a week ago I heard to term Shadow people but this is what it was. No detail just a black shadow figure.
We had a little boy shadow person living in our home of 10 years. My late husband easily saw "spirits" throughout his life, but I did not. I have always been able to sense them and "hear" phrases they convey, but not see them. So the day I was sitting on our couch, looking out the window, and saw the shadow of the little boy pass in front of our TV screen (which was OFF), I was quite impressed. This experience made it real for me. We also witnessed our wooden board & rope swing just start swaying as we played together in the back yard - no wind, no other disturbance could have caused it to move. Hi Paul, yes I've experienced shadow people in my bedroom at night. Woke up in the middle of the night and was startled to see six tall black hooded robed (like monks) beings standing around my bed who seemed to be observing me. I was so startled I immediately asked them to leave, and they did. I could not see their faces, just a white misty appearance where I thought their hooded faces should have been. I did not feel any bad energy or resonance coming from them. I've wondered about this experience for the past year and a half... the intentions of these black robed visitors, and the deeper meaning of their appearance to me. Admittedly I have even doubted myself that it really happened, but my recall is too vivid for it to be just a dream. I also recall my first thought after I'd asked them to leave, which was "healing"... not that I was unwell or anything, but that's the energy signature I was left with! They haven't been back again! I've never spoken of this incident with anyone until this morning on your channel! I'm reassured that there are many who have also had similar experiences! The question is why! Thank you for sharing this. It reminds me of a guest's NDE ( near death experience) on the TH-cam channel 'Next Level Soul'. The guest describes a very vivid interraction with a group of hooded beings who identified themselves as his guides. They even seemed to have a sense of humor and great concern and care for him. I can't recall the guest's name but thought I'd share for what it's worth. He said they were shorter than average lol.

I was around 13 years old when, in the middle of the night, I was woken up by someone walking around the hallway outside my room. My parent's house had creaky floorboards at the time. I felt compelled to climb down from my bunk bed and saw a pale shadow person looking at me through the glass in my bedroom door. Its expression was that of shock or fear. I then felt myself being lifted up from the ground and then pushed into the floor with enormous force. I could feel the Gs of my body being forced downwards. I then found myself back inside the dream I was having in my bed. Nearly 20 years later, I still remember it clearly and still believe there was something more to that encounter than just a dream within a dream
When I was a young teenager I recall waking up with a sense of overwhelming fear and a feeling that something very evil was happening to me while I slept (to be clear, this was not of a sexual nature.) I recall my mother yelling for me to get out of bed. When I got downstairs I sat frozen and completely terrified in a living room chair because I was still experiencing this feeling. (It must have been noticeable as family members keot asking what was wrong with me. Since I could not find words to describe it, I always replied that there was nothing wrong.) It was as if something evil had engulfed me. Eventually the feeling would go away. This happened to me quite a few times but, other than the awful feeling it gave me, I cannot remember anything else about it. Then, thank God, it just stopped happening.

It was 2 or 3 incidents, each lasting an hour or so after I woke up and then going away completely. I have never experienced it since that time. I’ve experienced a few times. I used to be afraid but have since embraced my divine power. I feel at times they can be aspects of our selves attracting but once we had one in our home. My friend was going to funeral for her father and I feel brought something back with her in her bereavement. One night while chatting with her, heard my baby crying which wasn’t too common for her. Went into room to hold her and she was looking at something and I realized oh boy. It confirmed my seeing a shadow earlier but dismissed my eyesight. So I sent it back to Source and claimed my space. The next day it was confirmed that our Burmese helper saw it too while ironing but was too scared to say. Got goosebumps all over 😄 Grew up in a haunted house in KY with lots of stories. Perhaps part of my path as a Shaman 🙏
My experience goes back to 1967 as a 4 year old boy, laying in bed late at night a black smoke like figure at my door was knocking continuesly, my brother who was in my room and my mother in the room next to ours, both slept through the entire incident, I somehow decided just to go to sleep, never felt frightened as we are children always feel safe under blankets, that experience has stuck with me to this day
I had a similar encounter i dont know why/how i can remember i was born in 90s about 1,2 yrs old (i dont know why/how i can remember but its printed in my mind) at first i heard loud banging sounds like someone playing on the chairs (wooden) n then two figures which i couldn't see appeared (lights were off) near to the bed where my mom n me were sleeping they pick me up, seemed to look at me n then returned me to my bed... Hey mate,great conversation starter!, I had an experience with a shadow person in Townsville 5 years ago. I was laying in bed staring at the ceiling, just on dawn, hating myself. I was in the middle of very dark internal monologue when I saw from the corner of my eye a shadow person walk through my window. It took one step past the curtain and that's when the shadow person realised I had my eyes open .So it quickly took a step back into the folds of the curtain and stared at me. I let it boil in my mind to the point where I felt like I was about to explode. I turned my head,looked in its direction for the first time,sent all of my emotions straight at it and said "GET OUT." The shadow person freaked out.Instead of backing out the window it ran past the front of my bed. As it ran ,it ducked ,but at the waist like a half folded piece of paper and straight out my door into the hallway.It took a while for me calm down after that and the sun was high in the sky before I dared to get out of bed.

The scariest was when I started reading the WORD and researching his-tory.....I was standing on my back patio smoking late one night. I felt fear and began to scan my surroundings. At 20 to 30 feet away was a very tall dark cloaked figure coming towards me! I quickly ran inside! Terrified! I prayed for protection! There was knocking on my back door for a while, and no one was there when I looked out the window! I began praying more and trusting Jesus to keep me safe! I know that doorways are important and I'm careful of who I allow in! I know "they " hate me and hope I won't find out our true purpose! It seems like I've been attacked all of my life! My family and I left the land of mists and shadows and moved back to western Victoria where the extended family has been since the gold rush.The Yarra ranges and the upper Yarra especially is one seriously charged area, lots of shadow entities down there, there is literally a portal above the aqueduct on the side of Mt Victoria my family have always had a Hat Man who travels with us and some rather ancient Frighteners and Enticers but the standard variant shadow folk seem to come in times of need or distress even if you are not aware you are in need or distress the ancestors know but there seems to be a geographical link to where that can come through. Lots of Min Min lights out here on the planes, not so much near the Yarra don’t know why. In my families Welsh Kale stories the shadow folk are the ancestors, watching. Not ghosts, they are stuck but transient beings who can slip between the veils. The shadow is our resonant frequency created when our coporeal form disrupts the light frequency and that shadow is like our astral grid reference so to speak in this dimension. Hello Paul. A friend of mine started seeing a cloaked figure in the corner of his room. He had a very traumatic life for many reasons. He asked me to help him with it. I helped him on a shamanic journey. Whilst on the journey he told me afterwards that a beautiful lady surrounded by white light had come to him. He never saw that cloaked figure ever again. Physically he felt a lot better too.
That's "The Lady" (aka. "Hathor") who appeared as the "Apparition of Fatima" to Catholic kids, to Chris Bledsoe in 2012, and to Mr. & Mrs Hess in the Mojave Desert in 1989. Mine, from memory started as a child of about 7. I used to wake up to a group of cloaked figure's around my bed. This happened quite a few times and always terrified me, as I could never see anything other than cloaked figure's looking at me. I used to hide under my covers with my eyes closed repeating over and over...'please go away'. Once puberty started everything went away, until a massive personal trauma. This time I was an adult and could actually understand a bit more about what was happening. I am no longer scared and look for them when I either feel them, hear them, or catch a glimpse. Paul, I have been listening to you for the past few years and I love your work. I love your voice too! I have been researching the abduction phenomenon for about 10 years and whenever I heard anything about the shadow beings I just brushed it off and never looked into it. I found out why about six months ago when I had my first regression hypnotherapy session. I needed help exploring a childhood memory. Before the session started this is all I could recall. I was about ten years old and met a childhood friend in the woods behind my house. I had to climb a steep hill to enter the woods. We were sitting on the ground playing and something scared us. We both ran away. I remember running down the steep hill and then into my home. My older brother was home and I remember him trying to console me and calm me down. I was hysterical. During the hypnosis session I saw us playing on the ground and then I saw "it". I saw a black figure in the woods near a tree. It was watching us. It did not seem to me to be a man but had the shape of a man. It was just darkness. When my childhood self saw the entity she and her friend ran away. My adult self stayed. During the session I was breathing out heavily, trying to release the fear and anxiety. My legs were moving simultaneously toward my chest. I was in distress. The therapist was trying to bring me back and she tried several methods. I was still with the entity. The therapist moved close to me and put her arm on my arm to try and help me relax. She said she was protecting me with blue light. She kept trying to bring me back and I finally answered her, "we are battling it out". My legs and arms were moving as if I were in a physical battle. It took about 15 minutes for the therapist to bring me back. I remember saying to her, "this is a battle between the light and the dark". I said just before I returned, "the light wins". This was my first session and it was exhausting. We had planned to explore another blocked memory but called it a night due to the dramatic experience.

I never experienced this until around age45-50. My psychiatrist gets upset and intolerant when I mention the shadows. They're non-threatening, always during the day. They do shock me momentarily but don't scare me. I can tell they're facing me but I can't see any details. By the time my brain starts to absorb it, they vanish. Sometimes there's only one, sometimes I'll see 2 or 3 in one instant, in different positions around me. They always seem startled that I've seen them. It's very cool, I wish I could interact with them.
do you mean psychologist? because they are the ones that talk, they use talk instead of drugs, psychiatrists just give medication out, but if you are seeing a psychiatrist however, & they are getting upset & intolerant. then you should go elsewhere for your psychiatric appointments because if you are truly having experiences with shadows & are being made to feel bad or in any way wrong for having these experiences, then just remember that, it is you going there for help. once your issues or problems start irritating or angering the person within the health care industry whomever they are. it's time to go somewhere else, you cannot have an upset or intolerant professional trying to help you, because being upset or intolerant with you is not being very professional on any level whatsoever. besides if your personal interactions with these shadows is of a level or common ground etc non scary not necessarily negative just sort of observing you then if the person that you get help from doesn't know or experience your interactions with what you've been experiencing. then if there is nothing bad occurring then all a psychiatrist will want to do is give you medication to suppress or blot out any memory of what you are experiencing at least with a psychologist they will listen to you & what you say & then maybe suggest or ask what would you like to do about these happenings, & even then with a psychologist, they are only supposed to help you with suggestions not tell you exactly what you have to do, no one can truly know you, like you know yourself therefore when you do what you do it is something that has been well approached & thought out before either taking medication to suppress a visual entity like a shadow, or by someone trying to tell you or suggest to you that these occurrences are not healthy or benefiting you, either way take care & trust in your own intuition, maybe it's as simple as finding out if there are any other people whom have had similar experiences that have a way or a place where people gather to talk openly similar to how people with personal ufo stories go to hear of other cases by individuals. in a social environment.

As a child I once had this experience at night: I woke up from sleep and saw countless ‚shadow people‘ standing around my bed, quietly looking at me. Couldn’t see any faces and had the impression they all wearing long coats with a hood. I was a bit scared and just closed my eyes.
The next day I was wondering what happened. They didn’t talk nor transmitted any information via telepathy. My interpretation at that time was that it could be the souls of people who died long time ago in this area. My parents house was in the countryside on top of a hill, surrounded by forest in Austria, south of Vienna.
Following this experience, I decided that I wouldn’t accept any supernatural element in my live. After that I never had such experience anymore and was glad about it.
Your video made me rethink about this experience. Probably they were there to help me. As a child I was very sick, so perhaps it was them who had helped me. Credits to the ‚shadow people‘.

Hi Paul, ive seen a few in my lifetime. My first was when i was about 4 or 5 yrs old. It was large and crouched in the corner of my bedroom between the closet and the door. I screamed for my mom, yelling that there was a gorilla in my room. When she came in and turned the light on, it was gone and did not come back for a few days or weeks. To young to tell time. It did come back, in the same place and same form. There were no glowing eyes or anything like that but I was afraid of it. It never spoke or moved towards me, never did anything threatening. My grandmother gave me a night light that was plugged in by the door and it never returned. Now, in my 50s i look back and realize that it wasn't threatening in any way just much larger than I was and was between my and the door. You did the right thing with your son. My parents always discounted or ridiculed me for this and many other things ive experienced. I had to learn to deal with this by myself.
@PaulWallis - I am so glad you are finally getting into covering this topic. I don't ever remember seeing them as a child or even as a young/middle age adult. I am now 57 years old and over the past six years I have been given a PhD level education in the paranormal through firsthand experience. What started out as being introduced to a clan of Sasquatch whose territory I live in (BTW: That was life-altering all on its own) morphed into direct experience with other things that I can only explain as something out of a Grimm's Fairy Tale without the negative overtone. I saw my first shadow person in my backyard. It was at night and I unexpectedly burst through my garage door into my yard. I was in a hurry to get my dog and come in for dinner. The shadow person was standing between me and my dog. When it saw me it moved so fast toward the woods that it became a blur. There was a second one behind a large dirt pile that my dog was lying down on. It ducked down and backed into the woods on the property next to mine. The thing I found most odd is that my dog didn't even react to them. She was just lying there like it was no big deal. Now, this is a very protective dog and she was enormous. Anyway, my experiences have led me to the same conclusion you came to. It is not unreasonable to think there are beings who live outside of our visual spectrum. I honestly don't think we are ever alone.
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, I am a University degreed engineer... I did not accept this at first. Talk about something that flies in the face of everything you have been taught is true about reality. What a journey the past 6 years has been - I honestly wouldn't trade it for anything.

As a psychic I've had many experiences with the discarnate world. In Islam the word djinn is an umbrella term that refers to any person without a body ie a discarnate being. We share the earth with them although they can also be extraterrestrial. There are various kinds, sometimes benevolent, sometimes benign, sometimes malevolent. The most important thing is to process any of your unresolved trauma, stay away from people, places or practices that give you an uncertain or bad feeling, and to have a practice that connects you to light and higher consciousness such as prayer. To answer your question, people will appear remotely depending on the power of the person perceiving and the person projecting, anything from a passing thought to a full vivid 3d appearance.
I find it difficult to imagine these beings as physical. Because from my experience they seemed to have the ability to shape shift. They seem to be some how connected to the mind and can somehow mimic your imagination by appearing in different forms always something similar to what you would imagination. If you change your imagination, they change their form to suit. I've have seen them in the human form, the human/animal form and as faces with no bodies. I think the hooded form is just the most common form they take. They also seem to take great delight in conflict between people this makes them smile. On one occasion when I was about 10 after a heated argument with my grandmother a shadow being with the head of a human and the body of an animal snuggled up to my grand mother while she was sleeping kissed her on the cheek with a big smile while snuggling up next to her. This shadow being was obviously very happy with the conflict situation that she had caused as I was the innocent party in this argument. I don't think the being knew that i could see it, but this seems to be the nature of these beings, They seem to like causing conflict.
I have a long history of 'night terrors' and being paralysed on awaking or someone else in the house having to wake me as I have been screaming the house down. My other houso's get scared by the noises I make. When quite young i sleep walked lots. Now the older i get (I'm 62) I feel beings near me. It's like they are always just out of my line of site but their presence is heavily felt. I've had plenty of trauma and grief in my life. We live in a world were there is just so much we don't know. Paul when I was around 5 years old a man totally black with a Fedora hat and luminous green eyes was standing at the foot of my bed. I shared a bedroom with my grandmother and I flew next to her and hid under the covers. I waited a few minutes before I peeked out and he was gone. I thought it was my grandfather who was deceased visiting my grandmother. It was so black that I could tell his outline. I'm 70 now and I can still see the image.
Years ago when my daughter was about 5 years old, she was standing in the living room and looked into my bedroom (the door was open). She saw a shadow man who had a fedora hat on and he had a mean face.
She never saw it again.
I had strangely vivid dream a month ago. Toward the end of the dream, I shifted to a bed where I laid down. Then, two shadow-like, pitch-black figures appeared, staring down at me. The figure on the right wore a fedora hat. One of them "spoke" saying something along the lines of, "Aww...look at him." in a rather mocking way. Me, being semi-conscious, noticed I couldn't move and got a little frustrated seeing these two unknown entities. I'm someone who doesn't like it when people stare or touch me, especially strangers. My semi-conscious self reacted very negatively. I yelled out, "Scram!" multiple times until the dream ended. But, talking as I did didn't feel physical or mental; it was very strange.
I meditate a lot and one of things I been reading about trying to do is called dream yoga. So basically what I did is become lucid in my dream and meditate while dreaming. I did but two shadow people showed up completely dark one was in the shape of a woman and the other a small child (a boy I think). I just observed they wanted to come up and touch me while i was meditating in the dream. When they did i was expecting to feel something bad but i felt nothing so i ignored them and continued to meditate while dreaming

I have seen a shadow person once, long before I had ever heard of shadow people. I was living in a guest house many years ago and I got up in the middle of the night to get some water. As I entered the kitchen I saw what looked like a 3 dimensional but translucent shadow of a person with no discernible features, standing against the wall next to the fridge, almost as if it didn't want me to notice it. Not trusting my eyes, I slowly approached it. It was motionless. When I got a few feet away, still not trusting my eyes, I leaned in....and it quickly leaned back. I ran back to the bedroom, locked the door and stayed up the rest of the night. I have chills while writing this. Thinking back, I definitely feel it was just observing.
Just lain weird! This past weekend I saw, on two occasions a very dark shadow near me. I am 66, never seen that before…and I am blessed with sensitivity to otherworldly experience and gifts. So, glad this video is up!
I've had physical altercations with these things. It mostly happened in my younger years, but it's terrifying! Your son is lucky that you're open-minded to this. I never had positive experiences with them, but it sounds like some people do. I wish mine were. I was always frightened of them. Maybe I shouldn't have been afraid, but it's so hard not to be. I experienced these things most of my life up into my 40s. Ever since my dad died years ago, lots of the paranormal experiences I used to have stopped. I don't know if these spirits were waiting for him and left with him when he died. I just don't know. I'm so scared of the shadow people. I wish I wasn't so afraid of these things.
There are lots of practices you can do for protection. It mostly comes down to energy and intention. Reiki is great. Stating your intention clearly is helpful. Don’t ignore your intuition, and believe in your power. Singing prayers is also powerful.

Maybe your dad is keeping them away from you knowing how they frighten you. There was this show called The Dead Files with Amy Allen, many times when people were being haunted a parent was there trying to keep any harm from their child.
I have heard that a spark gap generator will keep them away , I haven't tried it but if it becomes necessary I will use one . Peace ✌
Hi Paul. This video has reminded me of a story my late mum once told me. When I was a few weeks old, she witnessed "a shadow of a thing" lifting me out of my cot. She said that she thought that death himself had come for me, and having lost my twin sister who was still born, and my older brother who died a few years before, she was naturally terrified. She said that she screamed at it to put me down and leave, which gently it did before it faded away. She was always very over protective of me for the rest of her days, God rest her.
I had never heard of 'shadow people' until I saw this video. I have a memory I have carried with me for now nearly six decades. I was a small boy, maybe three years old. I was lying on top of my parents bed, awake and frozen with fear. I could hear my parents low voices coming from the kitchen, but I couldn't call to them. There was a shadow of a man, unmoving, outside the bedroom window. I could see it through the thin curtains and I was physically unable to look away. I don't recall how, but eventually I was able to 'snap out of the fear' and make my way to the kitchen.

As a child and adult I have experienced a heavy amount of paranormal experiences including shadow people. I am 64 at this time in my life and have shared these experiences with very few people. There was a particular location where most of these experiences took place.
I have experienced shadow people three times.
1st time was a shadow person with a hat on similar to a quaker hat or fedora. I woke up one night from sleep and saw an opening in the ceiling and the shadow person floated through and disappeared. I was scared because I knew it was in the house.
2nd time I was at work and saw the shadow person standing in the foyer looking out.
3rd time I was living with my son and my bed was stationed in front of the French doors and I saw the shadow person on the outside looking in at me. We lived by a grave yard and so I thought it was a ghost. I spoke to it telepathically and told it to go back to the grave yard.

Luxembourg. I recently had a similar experience in the afternoon in our living room... I was alone at home... felt a presence behind my back, it was very uncomfortable, heavy, intruding... I turned to look at, and saw a light gray shadow of a tall someone, a similar silouette you describe here. I felt physically ''its'' presence, and that was spooky enough. I am a retired teacher.
I once ingested a psychedelic substance and saw my friend who had supplied me standing draped in shadows, screaming with no sound. He had died that night from an overdose on an illegal substance that he had unfortunately continued to take against his friends and families better wishes.
It has encouraged me to believe and understand the afterlife in a vastly different way than I did before this experience.

I had experiences with shadow people. Since young age i start to see, but i was fear.
The most important was at th age of 39. I was living in italy. I spend 8 years studying indian sacred scriptures, puranas, chanting mantras, upanishads and meditation. 100% dedicated to my spiriual pratices. My Guru is from india Uttarakhand.
Still i worship Jesus. For me they are one and the same.
It was late nigth. I wake up with a strong pain in my chest, i open my eyes and there it was, the shadow stending on my left side, all black (like in the video) with his hands pressing on my chest. The pain was just unbearable.
I knew it was not a dream or imagination. He had no face but i coud feel his body. I pray to God and look to my righ side where was my altar with all pictures of God. The shadow said " you feel pain? I'm this pain"
I look to God, my Guru and Jesus asking for help. In that moment a immense ligth came out from the picture. So bright like the sun. And the ligth said " Miriam. It's me San Francesco Assis"
The shadow dissolved in that moment.
I bow down to the Lord in tears of gratitude and asking for his immense Love.

One year after i came to live in india and when i was about to go to my Guru's ashram again the shadow came. I could hear his steps walking on the corredor of the house. I knew it was him. We stay front to each other.
He was clear. I could see him perfectly ...black shadow.
He asked with the same dark voice " So Miriam... you go to your Guru?"
I reply " yes. And you are not coming"
He kept there and also i didn't move. I felt no fear and i was totally in faith in the Lord my Guru. I pray during this time and i could see him disappearing like black smoke.
He never came back. This was 7 years ago.
In vedic astrology i have the 8 house with strong energy in the occult and intuition. I always saw other realities and read peoples mind. I'm in ashram in quietude, praying for peace and harmony to all.

Hello Paul. This story was told to me by my elder sister. At the time it was the late 1960s & she was in her late teens. She spoke of encountering shadow people on several occasions at home. One particular incident (which was the first) was when she rose at 2.30am to go to the kitchen for a glass of water. In the hallway she noticed that as she stopped, 'her' shadow on the wall continued to walk towards the kitchen. Then, it halted disengaged from the wall, manifested in the middle of the hallway as a an adult figure & beckoned her into the kitchen. As mentioned she reported having several more encounters but never elaborated on them. I trust this assists in your research 🙏
While stationed in Japan I encountered one at night in my room at the barracks. While sleeping i was awakened somehow and there before me stood an 8 or 9 foot being. It was human shape and very dark. It was right to the left side of my bed and I could feel an immense power. This power/energy was running from the bottom of it to the top. I couldn't sense anything sinister but i didn't want to find out. So, i took the same physcial force that pulled me out of my sleep back to the lying down position. I laid down slowly and very carefully. I fell back to sleep and was fine in the morning. Earlier that night i had been doing some sprints near the weather hill on base. Recently, I've been having memories of when I was very young, being terrified, trying to hide under the blankets, and holding them tight. I remember thinking,'Just go to sleep & they'll go away'. Now, I'm not sure if that was even my thoughts, but I remember going to sleep fairly fast. I've been trying to picture what I saw to no avail - just blackness by the closet. Then I see on TH-cam 'The Shadow People'. I think it's a match.

He told me I could have three experiences if I wanted, and I accepted. The first was a childhood mystery about a dog who disappeared, the second was seeing the world before machines and after machines, and the third being taken through a flower from roots to petal. 40 years later I can recall it vividly. I saw a shadow man while sleeping over my gram's house when I was about 5 yrs old. I woke up to see a black shadow man standing at the foot of my bed. He didn't scare me, so I crawled up to him and asked him if he was sleeping over-no answer. I asked if he was tired-no answer. He was about 5'9", suit, fedora, and just a flat form. I got bored and went back to bed. I never saw him again. My mom used an ouija board when she was younger, so she probably brought a lot of stuff in. I saw orbs at night, heard voices talking out in the hall, banging on the walls, and the toneless "hells bells" and other hellish noises at night, which is about the only thing that scared me. There were many more weird things going on there too, in the day & night.

Very unsettling experience
I am a “recovering Evangelical charismatic” here in the US. I don’t know if what I saw were shadow people. Whatever it was, it wasn’t nice. I was also at a very tenuous time in my life familial-wise. I was dealing with a jealous, narcissistic mother (didn’t know that at the time) and entering a relationship with my then future (now ex) husband, who is also narcissistic. Twice the thing flew over my head in my kitchen. And, at least once, maybe twice, it woke me up from the dream state suffocating me. It took some time for me to catch my breath after that. Was it warning me of the narcissistic people who ultimately did suffocate me emotionally speaking??? At the time, I thought it was demonic. Now, having read your first book, Paul, and more than half way through your second one…after listening to Matthew LaCrouix, Billy Carson, Gregg Braden, Alex Ferrari, and you as well on your podcast, now I’m not so sure. What of my dreams as an 8 year old kid warning me of something my mom had done to my dad when I was 4 and it turning out to be true? What of dreams I had as an adult that turned out to be “prophetic”? I’m still in recovery from my ex and my mom, helping my 4 kids deal with their lives and their own trauma, and now even further in recovery from my former Evangelical faith…there are some things I wish I had the answer to.

I'm in my mid 20s, and I've experienced these shadow people in ways not unlike others I've read in the comments. For me it was through 2 primary contexts.
1) For a period of a few months, every now and then I would wake up in the middle of the night and a group of them (maybe 12 or so) are surrounding me in my room, long and slender shadowy figures. Each time that happened I was terrified and immediately closed my eyes to try to go back to sleep.
2) I would often see one in my peripheral vision, yet when I would turn to look it's gone.
I had no idea this was a phenomenon experienced by others, thanks for sharing your research with us Paul.

Great Day to you, Paul. This video is timely as I have been reading a book about a woman who had similar experiences with a shadow person. I have had a similar experience, in the astral realm, with other kinds of cloaked beings that were surprised I could see them. When they realized I could see them, they would turn toward me and start moving towards me.
I like what you mentioned about what an astral body would look like if someone in the physical were to see it. I had an experience in December 2023 where I astral projected to someone and became surprised they could see me because I was 'cloaked'. I told them they weren't supposed to be able to see me and they shared with me they could see me because they astral projected to see me as well.
I don't know much about the astral realm as I am just learning. I have however had experiences for years where I now feel comfortable saying I was astral projecting.
It's possible. But nowadays it's crowded and confused there. It could be more iffy, even dangerous even with precautions. Lower astral borderline problems with higher astral. Maybe hold off that for now. ✌️🙏
I encourage you to be careful. This plane of existence has alot of hatred without cause and I think it's true for Astral and spirit realms too. Until creation purges everything egregious and opposed to the laws of love and truth. Even though love does not require hatred to exist. Let's hope the true. As soon as I called out my Dad's name it came off of me and went into the corner. As I was hovering over my body, I saw this shadow being In the corner. It truly wasn't pleasant
I see shadow people quite often and anytime of day, it doesn't matter where I am it's not restricted to any one place. I have never felt anything evil or negative from them it's as if they are just there. I can't stand it when I hear someone say it's a negative entity or evil because all of my experiences have been harmless.
Finally someone perceiving through truth instead of fear
I have seen Shadow people quite frequently throughout my life, in particular when I moved into a new residence, or been in a new area, or place that I'm visiting, not only in human Shadow form but also in animal shapes. I sent them a message of love and tell them that I am not there to hurt them and that I asked that they do not interfere with me or hurt me or my animals or my children, my family. I was told long ago that these are people, entities that are caught between dimensions, between worlds....... I don't fear them, they have never been malicious, because I believe when I address the fact that I am not there to hurt them and ask them not to interfere with me I think it brings resolve.

No shadow people since I was a child (I think we all saw them). However, sometimes if I wake suddenly and open my eyes there will be a shimmering web over the top of me. It feels to me like an entity, and it's surprised when I open my eyes suddenly. I have swiped at it and it disappears.

when i was a small child i saw a shadow person in my room. looked like it was wearing an overcoat or something and a fedora type hat. i remember i wasn't afraid of it and i walked into my parents room and was standing at the foot of their bed and i woke them saying "there's a man in my room" to which my father replied "there's no one in your room now go back to bed!" and he no sooner finished his sentence, when he and my mother grabbed each other out of terror because this thing followed me into their room and was now behind me. they say it was glowing green but i didn't see that. maybe because it was behind me but if all three of us saw it then there's something to it i think. thanks for your video, now i don't feel so strange lol.
I'm sure this one with the fedora hat is the Sandman, and maybe this is where the story of the sandman evolved from.

Once I thought I was awake and I saw a man wearing a fedora smoking a cigarette standing over me while I slept. I thought he was an old time gangster . It scared the shit out of me, so I threw a kick, connected and broke his jaw in half. The strike hurt like hell and woke me out of my dream state. The man had been my swinging fan. I broke the fan and thought it was the shadows jaw. This was caused by a sleep disorder. I had more nighttime adventures as well but no more shadow people.
I had a visit from the Fedora hat man. Black cloak. No face but he had glowing eyes. I was lead by banging at the door which was so hard that it created a horizontal split with each bang. Then a portal opened on my kitchen wall with a field and one tree in the distance. And slowly over a hill he began showing, as he passed the tree he became more visible, I gazed in disbelief, he was moving so slow, but as he walked he seemed to flash the appear closer , when he got close to the entry of the portal which would be my kitchen wall. He kept throwing his arm towards me and that would sent white dishes flying towards me with each swing of his arm, as the dishes got really close to my face they would shatter into tiny pieces and float away from face as it went on I noticed a shield that was stopping the dishes from hitting me. I could see very faint ripples in the shield, as you would see in throwing a pebble into water. Never saw it again, but Ihave encountered many other things since.
Experienced shadow people first time the night I came home from church camp when I was 13 in which I was just babtised days earlier…then years later in my 20s a group came in my house and would give me sleep paralysis while projecting bad dreams I had to see as if they had control over my brain and then it would stop and they would laugh at me and leave
Hello Paul, how are you, i’ve watched all of your videos and enjoyed them all. Your content has helped me immensely. I’ve been a Christian all my life, and knew of nothing else, would not even consider or entertain any other religious beliefs, but Christianity. But few years before covid, my former bishop changed the way i think of church, christianity, and even how i felt about Jesus, who i thought was my Lord and Saviour. My life changing experience started from there, and what an eye opening, i’ve never set foot back inside of a church, for no man to look down on me and abuse my trust again. I now let the God of Spirit lead me , and for the first time i am in tune with my own spirit and intuition, listening to you Paul and Billy and a few other great people as transform, my thought process all together. I experienced it too.
I was around 3/4 years old. I woke up and saw, what I thought, looked like the old school Joker from Batman. Think the cartoon version of joker around early 2000s. It was as close as I could describe him.
This being stood by my bed side and I didn’t seem to overreact.
I simply saw it. Stood up from my bed and went to my father and mother’s room. I had told them that I had seen my great grandmother, but I knew it was not her. It was a different being.
But I think I have experienced this more than once because my mother told me that I had always come to them and said “I saw great grandmother again”
The “again” definitely indicated multiple visits from what I would call these shadow beings.
From then on I particularly remember my spiritual development. By the age of 5/6 I was doing meditation without knowing what meditation was. I only did it because I believed I had some type of power. I always had a deep understanding that reality is not just all there is.
I would stare out the window as we drove in the car and ask the question “what makes me see” “what is the thing happening that knows I am seeing”
From my multiple experiences with shadow people I couldn’t help but question reality and what I considered being alive.
I saw a shadow person once as a teenager. It was during a pretty emotionally tense time where there was a lot of dark and fractured energy in the house and happening all around me. I was in bed but had literally just gotten into bed and was wide awake. There was a couch 3 feet away from my bed, and crouched on it staring at me was a shadow person with glowing white eyes and white smiling teeth who was audibly laughing a sinister laugh at me. I wasn’t paralyzed like sleep paralysis but was basically frozen in fear, covered up my head and was terrified.
Hello Paul. First of all, I would like to thank you for posting a video about shadows. My encounters with them go back long before my current life began and they are with me to this day. As a 3-year-old girl, I spent 2 weeks with them on the other side while my body was in a coma. Then I found out by talking to them telepathically that I was strongly connected to them and they were always there to protect me, but it was hard for me to tell them apart because I can also see souls and other beings. Only when I grew up, I realized that depending on our vibration level, we can see more or less, because some things our brain cannot process. These shadows are actually other beings. Once I managed to see the hand and face of one of them and they resembled skeleton. It was when they came for me. He grabbed my hand. I was never afraid of them. On the contrary. .I felt very safe with them. I see them not only when my body is sleeping and when I leave my body, but also every day and not only shadows, but the topic of the video is about them so I won't go into depth. I also know who is above them and that they come from a fiery planet. I have many memories related to them. I can feel their touch, hear and see them.🙏
In my 30s I woke up one night, paralyzed, and saw a hooded figure moving right to left around the foot of the bed, then it came up the left side towards my head. It felt threatening. I passed out at that point.
In the year that this happened my 5-yr old daughter experienced night terrors frequently, screaming in her sleep. She didn’t fully wake up and couldn’t remember her dreams. She reported seeing a ghost man in a suit sitting at the piano one day.
We have both also experienced interactions with aliens, small blue ones for her, and greys who abducted me.
These things happened 30 yrs ago when I lived on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

I’ve been seeing these shadow people since I was 40. Now 60s. Sometimes there are several in the room at once but I’ve never seen the head horns on them. I get neither good nor bad feelings from them.

When I was around 4-5 I used to see a shadow of a man wearing a fedora. I would always call to my parents, nearly hysterical.
They would come. No one there.
This continued for about 2 years. One Saturday afternoon in daylight, I saw the same image. I called for my mother and she came running. I pointed to the vision. My mother ascended the stairs. She saw the image. By the time she reached the top stair, the image was gone.
When she came back down, she acknowledge she too had seen the image and forbade me to ever speak of it.
I saw a shadow person in my room. Looked like the pics you have up. I saw them several times in my other homes.
They’ve followed me my whole life. They have always just observed me. The only times I was afraid was when I’d wake up from nightmares and they’d be standing by me. I didn’t know if they were waking me up or feeding off the fear. Either way they’ve never harmed me.

My experience of shadow people is only if the room is extremely dark, then I see blacker than black figures standing around my head, while I am lying in bed. Nothing threatening. The story of the short wave radio was extremely interesting to me because my mother suggested I sleep with the radio on to mask my breathing, because for about 5 years I was ruthlessly awakened almost every night while drifting off to sleep, with a feeling of horror. Anyone who was awake in the same room also had that feeling. There is a backstory but I am not comfortable talking about that in a public forum. The radio worked for a while. But then it seemed to find another way through, and viciously. I told my doctor, and he had me blessed for the first time in my life, in the name of Jesus and it didn't come back for twenty years, even though i was slightly sceptical. When I was on the other side of the world that feeling of horror returned and prayer didn't work until I invoked the name of Jesus, then the experience immediately stopped and I was flooded with a profound sense of peace and love that stayed with me for about an hour or so. About 20 years after that experience it hasn't returned in any way, shape or form. I am Christian, non denominational, non church-going.

As a child around 8 yrs I use to walk around with my picture bible teaching every person about god what was such a happy child. Then one night while sleeping beside me mom I woke up to a shadow sitting on my chest and choking the life out of me it had raging red eyes and I never forget that night.
You probably want to do some healing with that. It could be a bigger deal than you have realized. That’s serious trauma.

I experienced a "shadow being" for over 30 years, and I'm still coming to terms with it all. It took years and years before i dound someone that could get rid of "it", and they described it as a "Shapeshifter god". The sheer trauma leaves me still trying to understand 😅
I had several experiences with shadow people in my bedroom when I was in my esrly 30's. I was completely paralyzed, frightened and could not scream. It was lterrifying and I didn't think friendly. The third time it happened I called out to Jesus in my head and it left immediately. That was about 25 years ago. I haven't seen one since. I keep a pucture of Saint Michael in my living room and i ask him for protection but I know the name Jesus has power over them.
Same but . I was able to scream. I was screaming let me go . When I totaly wake up, I pray and ask for Michael, l'archange.
Not long after I lost my mum and was going through tremendous grief, I was in my small bathroom and a shadow person peaked round the door - I say shadow but it had substance, it wasn’t transparent. It had a coat and a trilby type hat on. I immediately went into the hall expecting to see somebody standing there whilst also knowing that nobody was there and it was gone. I had the feeling of being observed due to my grief and did not feel threatened, I could just sense a curiosity and wanting to see how the loss was affecting me. It’s honestly the most bizarre thing that’s ever happened to me and I’ve been desperate to see it again. My feeling was that it was in another dimension and that my grief had temporarily allowed me to see into this other dimension, or at least what was being projected from this other dimension into our dimension.

My experience was negative, it came at a low point in my life not long after a break up with my first love, I was lying in bed trying remote view something potentially dangerous.
Soon after I was dozing off when I felt an odd cold feeling filling the room it felt charged somehow accompanied by a sense of fear, weird, hard to explain, I pulled the blankets up due to the chill.
I then became aware of footsteps coming down the hall (I was the only one in the house) I realized I couldn't move, literally paralyzed with an intense fear sensation, I could sense something standing in the doorway to my room observing me.
With every bit of willpower I had I forced myself to sit up and look at whatever it was, I saw a large jet black figure standing in the doorway filling the entire doorway with a pointed head or hat, I discerned weird eyes and a wide grin, not real eyes but like they were painted onto a moving bottom surface, dont know weird, shocked I stared at it as it stared back, it seemed to scan me for a few moments then let out a loud condescending laugh as if to say what am I doing here this person is a worthless piece of crap type thing, my shock turned into a rage, I felt a huge up-welling of righteous anger from somewhere deep within me and I flew at the thing in the doorway.
I somehow jumped or flung myself 3 meters from a sitting up in bed position to the doorway, I came down on it from above, grabbed its mid section to pin it against the wall I bit down hard on where its neck would have been, but only momentarily as it slipped from my arms and flew straight up through the roof letting out a high pitched shriek or squeak as it slipped upwards, I felt the air pressure, like a balloon but softer in air pressure but defined as it slipped away from me, I didnt feel anything on my face where I tried to bight its neck but felt it slip out of my arms.
I stood there shaking with Adrenalin, wondering where the hell it went but cooled down quickly when i realized any threat had gone, I thought what the hell was that and laughed, stress response I guess, but figured it was something that followed me back from the target I was attempting to remote view earlier.
Whatever it was Welcome to Earth 🤣

@PaulWallis I found some information from an interesting source later on, the OBE/Astral Travel community, I read a book from Robert Monroe "Journey's out of Body" and in it he describes what he calls Astral Flora and Fauna that hang around kids and feed off fear, the trick is to give them the finger and pay them no further attention and they go away, apparently its very common for people just leaving their bodies to encounter such beings, fascinating stuff.
I have seen them but only when taking two different medications. My doctor labelled it as me being allergic to those medications. She said she's never heard of a side affect like I experienced. But I've seen them just out of the corner of my eye at home while doing dishes. I heard the floorboards creaking as when someone is walking . (My house is over 100 years old so it's kind of creaky in certain places.) When I turned around to see what was there... nothing. Another time, was in the middle of the night, while vacationing in San Diego. I woke up and saw it 10 feet away from me just watching. It didn't disappear when I turned to look. I just turned away from it and went back to sleep. The latest was about a month ago and THIS time, I saw a round, black ball. I just happened to turn my head to look in the living room and it was on the floor, just sitting there, in my kitchen with me while , again, doing the dishes. The entire ball and the edges were kind of fuzzy or blurred. I just turned away from it and then looked again and it was gone. I didn't hear or see or smell anything to make me turn and look. My dogs were in the kitchen with me but they were in their kennels and they didn't alert. They're Maltese and will bark at ANYTHING.

Hi Paul, I have been seeing these things since I was about 3 yrs old. The first thing I saw was a black cloaked figure looking down at my brother as he slept.since then I have seen a multitude of super unnatural creatures including shadow people and have been attacked on numerous occasions. Everyone on my mothers side of the family have had interactions all their lives and my daughter now also has to deal with it on a fairly regular basis. We are not always alone when it happens and my husband who never had anything happen before he met me has been disturbed by several incidents. My aunt who ran a guest house in Wales nr snowdonia told me about two incidents where she saw the men in black phenomenon and she had never even heard of them or seen the movie! The first time she saw two if them flying a chariot pulling a coffin over the lake where she lives and the second time one pushed past her and a customer staying at her guest house. She chased after him because he had come from the direction of a guests room and she thought he was a burglar. He ran outside and she was close behind him but as soon as she ran out the door he had disappeared. They checked the customers room to see if anything was missing and the customer said a crystal she’d had on her dressing table was missing,eventually they found it had been placed directly under the bed. In my opinion we are in an enclosed environment being used and abused like lab rats and our perceptions are being messed with, you will see these things when they want you to, they have the advantage of knowing how this system works. My wife and I do ancestor research. We were in a graveyard when an entity touched me in the small of the back, moving me in a specific direction to a grave stone. The birth date on the stone would have been in a couple days 140 years prior.

@@PaulWallis A happy birthday was expressed and I asked if there was anything else I needed to see. There was no further prompting to move elsewhere so I thanked the spirit and moved on with our research. It seems that all the interactions with otherworldly beings and cryptids has been of a benevolent manor.
I didn't see the shadow people or the "hat man" until I was in my 30's. Moved into a my home with my 3 children . I woke up to see him standing at the foot of my bed.
Later my son told me he thought we had a ghost in the house and described waking during the night seeing a man in black with a hat on standing in his bedroom doorway looking at him. during the night .
My daughter woke me up one night (she'd fallen asleep in my bed) tapping on my elbow. When I asked her what she needed she said the man in black had been standing next to my side of the bed looking down at me. By the way, she was young and her head was under the blanket when she was waking me. My son was in highschool. There were voices heard, knocking on doors at night, the sound of babies crying, children laughing. I would wake during the night feeling someone sitting on my bed but no one was there. Often when walking through the house I would stop and feel something bump into me as if they had been following me closely. I would know if it was a child or adult by where I felt the impact.
Another time I woke in the early morning to get a drink, walked into the kitchen and seen the brightest light coming from the bedroom 2 rooms away where my sister and her husband were staying in my home. Her tv was on but no picture that I remember being on the tv. I saw a man in black standing in front of their tv , my sister asleep in the bed behind him. I didn't have my glasses on and thought it was her husband. I said good morning and he turned his head my direction and just looked at me and then turned back to the tv. I went to bed and later learned that my brother in-law had been called into work during the night and it wasn't him standing in front of the tv. I moved into the house in '91 and it continued until 2001/02 . I told them to go to the light and that their job here was done. It was something I heard Sylvia Browne say and I guess it worked.
Later I met someone who came to the house and he told me about the spirits that had been here in my house and told me about a little girl spirit that was visiting, I hadn't mentioned her and he was correct because my 2 youngest children had been telling me they were seeing a little girl dressed in a white gown from another era floating above the floor. There is more but this is already too long. My apologies.
