- 1 in 100 times I go to the flea market something magical happens. This is perhaps my most succesful outing as I pick up some nice duplicates and a few massive key comic grails for the personal collection!

You can find anything at a Jersey flea market, early high grade Green Lantern books - they got’em, truck tires - they got’em, bootleg Jordans - they got’em, bags of weed - they got’em, all from the same vendor too. Awesome deal you man, keep up the good work.

I remember my college professor having this in his collection back in the mid 90s and it became my grail I wanted as a huge GL fan. I’ve got 3 now in my collection now so it’s nice seeing the thumbnail…Thanks!

Nice hunting especially those X-men 1's. With a 9.8 those can fetch 200 easy! Also I thought you were crazy for letting a 9.6 or X-men 100 but that Green Lantern haul is ridiculous! Awesome pickups! But that Swamp Thing is absolutely freaking awesome!

Some good pick ups for sure. It looks like you made out well on the GL books,a huge thumbs up for Peach what an adorable face.
That Swamp Thing 7 is beautiful but those cover wraps kill me. Having the white from the back rolled over the edge drives me crazy. I settled on completing a set of 1 - 10 in 9.2 or better b/c it was becoming a pain in the ass to find 9.6+ copies with good wraps.
It's a TOUGH cover miswrap - It's almost a full centimeter. Luckily CGC doesn't dock for that since it's a printing issue.

Rarely any flea markets in the UK. Or at least, incredibly hard to find any.
These videos are definitely amazing to watch just knowing there are some good finds out there.

Nice pickups! I gave up on my full GL run completion a few years ago when I had to sell my Showcase 22 to fund a huge chuck of missing Bronze Marvel books. I kept the GL books, however, but I only have the keys like 40, and 59, and then scattered issues up until the 76-224 run. You are really making me want to start looking for Silver GLs again though ..

@@MintHunterComics It was a really cool book to own. Mine was about 2.5 3.0 and I got it back in '90 or '91 along with Showcase 24 (which I sold a long time ago) for about $125. Preeeetty sure I couldn't do that now! LOL Ah well. Like I said, it funded a huge chunk of Bronze Marvels I was missing so I'm okay with it. Maybe you'll snag one eventually!
Those are some amazing finds. I wish I could afford to collect vintage Amazing Spider-Man books. I was considering starting from the year I was born onward as I already have the book from the month & year I was born, but even that's an expensive venture.

Solid Green Lantern finds!
Flea Markets are the best place for me to find those harder to find books for my collection. Very nice trade. I find that most non Batman DC books have undervalued keys. First Sinestro though. Wow.
Nothing like finding a key out in the wild. Last week I found Knight fall part 11 in my local comic book shop, and I am mostly a newcomer to collecting comics so that is one of my first keys ever!!!

Love the videos! Been away from Comics for about 5 years after finishing up College and so on. Got a great job now and I'm getting back into the swing of things. Love the universal love for all comics but the Green Lantern love is so rare! All your videos got me back into hunting especially for Green Lantern and Flash! Keep it up, man! Might have to get my Flash 106 slabbed soon!

Does that actually happen, though? Never heard of a break-in solely targeting slabbed comic books 😆 although I did have someone target my home recording studio about 15 years ago, I lost about $20k in recording gear.

@@SubviolaceusWish someone would break into my house & steal The Collected Works of Hegel vol. 1 & 2. I just can't seem to get rid of those books, I give them away & they come back, I even threw them into the Chesapeake Bay once & they reappeared, several weeks later, damp & mouldering.

I'm up here in Canada, went to a town called courtice in Ontario. I got a batman 423 Canadian variant 1st print about 4.5 grade for $35 cad, which is about $28 usd on Sunday

Hit the fleemarket about 2 weekends ago got a longbox with over 100+ comics for 35$ Half of em were Gerard Jones run on green lantern along with some JLA, Firestorm,Steel, Got 3 copies of xforce #18 still packaged in poly bag and 1 #17 still in polybag aswell

Usually tables that have comics stacked without plastic covers have Gold Mines they just want to get rid of them they don't care if they have value i found some nice 60's comix that way and even the 1st app of Spider Woman..

Really cool finds. Unfortunately the flea markets here are either overpriced compared to quality or generally don’t have comics. Weirdly enough I have been scoring pretty good at 2nd and Charles for their last 80s and 90s books because their books are always $2 and many times they have a buy 5 get 5 free
USUALLY this market is dry. It really turned out good this time
2nd & Charles can be full of awesome finds 👍 that's where I got my first Uncanny X-Men #137. It ended up being a CGC 9.4 or 9.2, I can't remember which (sold it right before covid hit & haven't found another one since 😭), but buying it raw at 2nC I only paid $10 for it. It was a "showcase" book.
I'm getting back a huge CGC box soon (20+ books) so I'm holding off on The Hunt the next few weeks.
