For Traffic Manager: a) use control shift click to automatically set up a roundabout, and b) watch one of Biffa's traffic fix videos and you'll become a TMPE expert

OMG!! I just found the video in my home page, click it and when I listened to the voice...I was....OMG I've heard this voice before....!! James!! I'm so happy that like me you play the Sims ans Cities Skylines too!!!

So, i am only 20 min in the Video. So idk if you figured it out already
Here are some tips for the lane tool:
- If you press alt you can fill immendiantly (shortcut)
- You have to draw all the lines first, and then the fillings will go along the lanes and not across the grass. (also around the corners, it dosen't look perfect)
- To make a line only a part long, you have to add a rule and then connect the points. Then delete the first rule, cause it overrights the second one.
- You can change the Line to triangles, so instead of the lines.

Finally, i really enjoy your content.
You should get the Tree-Brush Mod, it makes for some really nice areas.
Plus the Mod with which you can change the capacity and speed of busses and cars.
Some first Person would probaly be nice too.
If you buy the Vehicles of the World dlc it includes higher capacity versions so you can stay vanilla and still have options if you want to.

I was gonna make a really excited comment full of ‘!!!!!!’ But this is a chill new series so I’m just gonna say. This looks fun, man.
If you haven't checked it out yet, I 100% reccommend the "Compatibility Report" mod. It gives a super detailed report of all the mods you have installed, their compatibility and whether they can be replaced with newer ones with te same or more features. I went from 180 something mods to "only" 83 and my game runs smoother and have extra handy tools :D
Also I'm so happy you're back with Cities Skylines content! It really is my favourite game to watch you play!
I love this! Is it possible to zoom in really close from time to time? Like... really look at a street or neigborhood... watch the people walk and live and do their thing? See how and where they park their cars and/or walk? I just think that that is so interesting!! @Flabaliki

11:29 From personal experience with Node controller it doesn't make intersections glitchy at all with perhaps some extreme exceptions.
The only thing that makes my intersections glitchy sometimes is having nodes really close, and funnily enough node controller can help with that.
Hold control shift and then click on the roundabout when you are on the yield sign tool in traffic manager, It will set up the whole roundabout. hover your mouse over the buttons to see all the controls.
In the traffic manager settings you have options for how it will set up the roundabout for you. But the default settings are generally fine.

I CANNOT BELIEVE that you're using a map based in city I live in to bring these series back!! I'm in shock and awe, and can't wait to see what you do to this land! I'm enjoying the "slow and steady" rhythm of the video also, it's a great way to start! Micromanaged cities have a certain charm to them. Keep it up!

I’m so happy to see this video! I’ve been rewatching your old CS videos, currently on series 2 and you were right - Dean is the best town.
My favourite mod is Picker. It works the same way as the eyedropper tool in Sims 4, and it saves sooooo much time.
Instead of going through the menus, you just press T, click on whatever you need, and it opens the correct menu with that item selected!

BOB, the Tree and Prop Replacer mod is great for swapping out the old "not very nice" trees from houses and buildings with any other tree you want

Man... coming from first person shooters, fighting games etc... this is such a breath of fresh air.. my god, it's so relaxing.. I just bought the game by the way. This is fun. This happens after playing sim city decades ago.. wanting something like it. And this is totally it.

Yayyyy!! I checked my phone early this morning and saw this notification. I went back to sleep and when I woke up I thought it was a dream 🤣 So happy this is back! And I prefer the chill versions of these LPs just watching you do what you do naturally - which is building a cool city!
Theres loads of cool transport optiosn in the game so I would love to see you focus on stuff like that. Like bus and train systems etc. Will work really well with the new airports DLC

I think you should name the city Bonk City in reference to your 1st city, which was named Knob City, (Bonk is Knob backwards).

Oh man seeing this video pop up on my feed was the best news I've had all month! So glad to have you back on cities
shift click on a round-a-bout and it will do the priority signs for you so you don't have to do that thing with move-it
alos the crosshair thing in the top right of node controller auto alligns the roads for you so you don't have to pull back each point individually
you can use the stretch feature in node controller to make cul-de-sacs too and it doesn't mess up the zoning

As far as mods, I think you'll love the Network multitool. It has awesome sloping and parallel functions. Plus the connection, loop, and curve functions are awesome for quickly connecting separate roads.

This takes me back! I used to binge watch your last series on Cities: Skylines during the quarantine in 2020. Just hearing the opening took me back to that apartment where I spent two months in solitutde. Great to see another series with this game!
