i foung anothe rissue with mine.... other than the sound, i messed around with the EQ and found a good spot to make it sound better i noticed that while my reverse camera works when im going in reverse, when i check the camera app, it just shoes a black screen.... could it be somewhere in the settings?
i have the nifty city 13.6inch one on my infiniti fx35, everythign works perfectly except when i turn the volume pretty high... it gets super distorted, wasnt sounding like this with the stock radio. Any ideas?
@@DIYReid When i put it to the factory AMP, the volume is extremely low, did you mess around with the EQ to make it louder? How'd you trouble shoot the issue? Thanks for replying!
@DTUFINOPhotography it’s been a while. I was looking through the settings and one of them dealing with the amp fixed it. I too had the same issue with it not sounding great and was disappointed but then once I fixed it through settings it was fine.
@@DIYReid Thanks man.... i was wondering if i plugged everything in correctly but i'm guessing if i didnt plug in all the cables nothing would work correctly, everything works fine with mine... i think i need to switch to factory AMP and then restarting the unit and then messing around with the EQ, but it was def. low.... @@DIYReid there's screens for both gens, but the installation is different. your install is only applicable for 2014-2019 Q's. And Acura isn't involved at all
Does the voice commands work on yours. I had mine installed professionally and I have not voice command capabilities and my Bluetooth audio sounds horrible compared to the in-touch audio
@@DIYReid I have a powered subwoofer that I am trying to run off the unit. I get full audio and sub woofer off the intouch mode radio, but the Bluetooth and android audio only plays the mids and highs. The installer told me the RCA Jack's from the unit were inoperable. They spliced the sub woofer audio off an existing speaker. Should I have them run it back to the RCA and fix it in the settings?
How do you go into factory settings? I’m trying to turn off the automatic sleep, my screen keeps going black for no reason and I gotta unplug everything to get it to turn on again 😫

I still don't get sound and I noticed you didn't have siynd while playing TH-cam Tv. How did you fix that please ?
The cars radio had it stuck on Bluetooth audio or something so the radio was trying to play but the car was looking for Bluetooth.

Yes. I ran into that as well there is an option in the settings to use the factory amp.

They didn’t set it up right. You have to enable the amp in settings for it to sound good again.

And they wonder why Nissan is going out of business. Refusing to update your cars is the dumbest thing ever but the only rhing Nissan is known for
A lot of OEM’s don’t do well with infotainment updates and some like GM are even going away from CarPlay.
